Minister of Health and Family Welfare Shri Satyendar Jain said that the positivity rate was decreasing continuously, and the bed occupancy levels in hospitals too has considerably reduced because of which LNJP and GTB hospitals which were earlier fully dedicated to COVID will be soon turned into partially COVID and made available to non-COVID patients. OPD and other services will be resumed. The COVID care centres have been closed as they did not see any patients in a long time. He said that LNJP Hospital currently has 38 positive patients who travelled to Delhi from international locations. Out of those, 4 have been infected with the new strain. He said that the Delhi Government was completely ready for the vaccine, and all necessary requirements, from storage to application have been made. He said that Delhi will see a night curfew from 11 PM to 6 AM on December 31 and January 1, to ensure that there are no lapses which can lead to a spike in the much-controlled situation of the infection in Delhi. “The Delhi Government is preparing 1000 centres for the vaccine. We are completely ready with all the preparations,” he added.
Briefing the media, Shri Satyendar Jain said, “There were 677 cases in Delhi yesterday. Around 85,000 tests were conducted and the positivity rate has fallen down to 0.8% implying that in the 1000 tests conducted, only 8 are found symptomatic. The situation has improved a lot as compared to the 15.26% positivity rate on November 7. The bed occupancy in the hospitals has reduced considerably. More than 85% of beds are available. In the wake of this, the Delhi Government has decided that GTB and LNJP hospitals which were fully COVID dedicated hospitals will soon be turned into partially COVID dedicated and made available to non-COVID patients. All departments and services including OPD will be resumed.” 
Responding to the query surrounding the shut down of covid care centres, the Shri Satyendar Jain said, “COVID care centres did not see any patients for quite some time, therefore it did not make sense to keep them up and running.”
“The Delhi Government is preparing 1000 centres for the vaccine. We are completely ready with all the preparations. From storage to roll out. We are only waiting for the vaccine to be made available,” said Shri Jain on the preparedness of Delhi Government for the roll-out of the vaccine. 
Regarding the night curfew in Delhi for 2 days, he said, “The night curfew will be implemented from 11 PM till 6 AM on December 31 and January 1, to ensure that there are no lapses which can lead to a spike like earlier, now that there is a much-controlled situation of COVID in Delhi.”
Shri Satyendar Jain said, “Experts are still working on the new strains’ analysis, to understand its intricacies. LNJP Hospital currently has 38 positive patients who travelled to Delhi from international locations. Out of those, 4 have been infected with the new strain. Nonetheless, I assure you that all flights have been banned and no new cases have since then arrived. The ones who arrived earlier are being traced and tested and there is no need to worry.”
On the COVID biowaste in Delhi, he said, “COVID waste is MCD’s responsibility. They have been made accountable to handle it.”
Shri Satyendar Jain said, “So far, we are aware that they said the vaccine will be made freely available by the Central government but that is all the information we have.”

दिल्ली के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री श्री सतेंद्र जैन कहा है कि दिल्ली में कोरोना संक्रमण के नए मामलों में लगातार कमी आ रही है। दिल्ली में कल 85,000 से ज्यादा टेस्ट हुए, जिनमें मात्र 677 नए मामले सामने आए। अब दिल्ली में पॉजिटिविटी दर भी गिर कर मात्र 0.8 प्रतिशत रह गई है। इसका मतलब यह है कि अब दिल्ली में 1000 व्यक्ति में केवल 8 लोग कोरोना पॉजिटिव मिल रहे हैं। यह आंकड़ा देश भर में सबसे कम है। उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली के अस्पतालों में कोविड बेड की संख्या भी पर्याप्त है। फिलहाल अस्पतालों में 85 प्रतिशत से भी ज्यादा कोविड के लिए सुरक्षित बेड खाली हैं। 
स्वास्थ्य मंत्री श्री सतेंद्र जैन ने कहा कि कोरोना के केस लगातार कम होने के बाद एलएनजेपी और जीटीबी अस्पतालों को अब जल्द ही अन्य मरीजों के लिए भी उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। इन अस्पतालों में ओपीडी सेवाएं भी फिर से शुरू की जाएंगी। पहले इन अस्पतालों को केवल कोरोना मरीजों के लिए आरक्षित कर दिया गया था। उन्होंने कहा कि अब कोविड देखभाल केंद्रों को बंद करने की प्रक्रिया शुरू की जाएगी, जिनमें कोरोना मरीजों का आना बंद हो गया है।
स्वास्थ्य मंत्री  श्री   सतेंद्र जैन आज एक प्रेस वार्ता के दौरान वैक्सीन को लेकर दिल्ली सरकार ने पूरी तैयारी कर ली है। कोरोना वैक्सीन रखने और टीकाकरण संबंधी सभी इंतजाम कर लिए गए हैं। अब सिर्फ वैक्सीन के आने का इंतजार है। दिल्ली में 1000 से भी ज्यादा वैक्सीन सेंटर बनाने की तैयारी चल रही है।
स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने कहा कि दिल्ली में 31 दिसंबर और 1 जनवरी की रात 11 बजे से सुबह 6 बजे तक कर्फ्यू रहेगा, ताकि यह सुनिश्चित किया जा सके कि कोई भी चूक न हो और दिल्ली में कोरोना संक्रमण की स्थिति नियंत्रित रहे।
*कोरोना के नए स्ट्रेन से घबराने की जरूरत नहीं –  श्री सतेंद्र जैन
कोरोना के नए स्वरूप पर स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने कहा कि दिल्ली सरकार इसकी रोकथाम के लिए हर मुमकिन कोशिश कर रही है और हमें इससे घबराने की जरूरत नहीं है। उन्होंने बताया कि हाल ही में विदेश से लौटे यात्रियों में से एलएनजेपी अस्पताल में 38 यात्रियों की कोरोना रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई है। उनमें से 4 मरीज नए स्ट्रेन से संक्रमित पाए गए हैं। अब सभी अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानों पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया गया है और तब से कोई नया मामला सामने नहीं आया है। जैन ने कहा कि हमने उन चार व्यक्ति के संपर्क में आए सभी लोगों की जांच कराई है और किसी में नए कोरोना स्ट्रेन के लक्षण नहीं मिले। 
दिल्ली में दिसंबर से पहले ही इस नए स्ट्रेन के आने के सवाल पर जैन ने कहा कि इस संबंध में विशेषज्ञों द्वारा आंकलन किया जा रहा है। दिल्ली में कोविड बायोवेस्ट के सवाल का जवाब देते हुए मंत्री ने कहा कि इसकी जिम्मेदारी एमसीडी की है। वहीं, मुफ्त वैक्सीन देने संबंधी सवाल का जवाब देते हुए मंत्री ने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार ने पहले ही इस बात की घोषणा कर दी है कि वैक्सीन सबको मुफ्त दी जाएगी। हमारे पास इसके अतिरिक्त कोई सूचना अब तक नहीं आई है।*******

Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday distributed dry ration kits to Delhi government school students. Dry ration kits, consisting of wheat, rice, pulses, and oil were provided to all eligible students from Classes 1-8 in Delhi govt schools under the mid-day meal scheme of the Delhi government. During the distribution program, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that he is proud of the teachers for working so hard during Corona and around 94% of students in Delhi are taking online classes. He said that despite the same teachers, same students, and the same schools, the atmosphere has changed, and people from across the world visit Delhi to witness these government schools. He said that the Delhi govt provided Rs 5000 each to construction workers for their livelihood and transferred Rs 5000 each to the bank accounts of taxi and auto drivers every month till the lockdown got opened, and all this work is reaching Goa. He also said that on the message of a taxi driver, he passed orders to waive off penalty on late submission of road taxes. This happened because the AAP govt is of common people and is committed to finding solutions to their problems. The distribution program was held at SKV No. 3 Mandawali, where the CM was joined by Dy CM and Education Minister of Delhi, Shri Manish Sisodia. 

CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “I just took a round of this school, and the infrastructure of this school is superior. It is not very common to find such good schools. Earlier, the government schools used to be in a pitiable condition, with broken walls, ceilings, desks and boards, and no facilities available and bad atmosphere. We used to blame the school teachers for no studies in schools. The teachers are the same, and the same teachers are doing an excellent job at teaching. Our students are getting admissions in IITs, medical institutions, and law institutions. These schools are now the objects of pride and honor for the people of Delhi. People from across the world visit Delhi to witness these government schools.” 

Addressing the distribution program, he said, “We are gathered here today to start the distribution of dry ration kits to the students. The last nine months have been extremely difficult, and we cannot see an end to this difficulty. The vaccine has been made and I hope it will reach our country soon. I pray to God for the vaccine to bring an end to our misery so that our lives can get back on track. But till the time the vaccine does not come, we have to find solutions. The most distressed in the last nine months were children, they cannot remain locked up in a room. They have energy and want to play and go to school, but we had never thought that our children will have to study in front of phones and computers because schools will be closed. The whole system has changed. I am extremely proud of our teachers for working so hard during this while, around 94% of students in Delhi are taking online classes. During all this while, we tried to provide the corresponding amount of the mid-day meal provided to the students, in the bank accounts of their parents. But today, we are starting ration distribution at the request of the parents of these students. Each student will be provided an adequate ration for a period of 6 months, July 2020 to December 2020, so that there is no lack in providing nutrition to children.” 

CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that the lockdown was an extremely difficult phase because the incomes of the people, their shops, businesses, industries, taxis, autos, and markets, etc, were shut down. It was extremely difficult for a daily wage laborer to afford food. He said that it was a testing period for all the governments to show how responsible they are. “We tried our best to provide food to all during the lockdown. The Delhi government provided food to 10 lakh people every day, and all these arrangements were made in all the schools across Delhi including Central govt and MCD schools. Around 10 lakh people were provided lunch and dinner every day, and we used to serve them as we were serving langars since we had our religious sentiments. We continued the distribution till people stopped coming for food and till the time the queues were over. The Delhi government provided dry ration, consisting of wheat, rice, pulses, oil, and spices, to 1 crore people, i.e., 50% of Delhi’s population every day for 3 months. We doubled the pensions of elders and widows to Rs 5000. We provided Rs 5000 each to construction workers for their livelihood and transferred Rs 5000 each to the bank accounts taxi and auto drivers every month till the lockdown got opened,” he added.

CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “Recently, some taxi drivers from Goa were in Delhi and wanted to meet me. Whenever somebody comes to Delhi, they want to meet me and appreciate the works done in Delhi. Yogesh, who was in the group that came from Goa, while appreciating the infrastructure of the schools and hospitals in Delhi, said that the Delhi govt is the only govt to have worked for auto and taxi drivers by transferring Rs 5000 each to their bank accounts during Corona. I was very happy that our works in Delhi had reached Goa. I told them that this was not only limited to Corona lockdown. The taxi and auto drivers need the help of the governments. We have changed all rules and regulations, and so our drivers do not need to pay bribes to get their works done because of an honest government in Delhi. Around 4-5 days back, I received a message from a taxi driver in Delhi, who said that he could not submit road tax during Corona lockdown because of no income and wanted a penalty waive-off. We passed an order in 24 hours and waived off the penalty on late road tax. A taxi driver from a state messaging the CM is a unique thing in itself. The CM reads the message and passes an order to solve his problem, and that is only possible because this is an honest government of a common man. We know which section in Delhi faces what kind of difficulties, and as soon as we get to know about them, we get to working for the people immediately.” 

“This is a very difficult phase especially for the children, please take care of them, ensure they attend all online classes, and please take care of their nutrition. I hope that the vaccine comes and ends our difficulty as soon as possible,” he added.

Deputy CM Shri Manish Sisodia said, “Today, we are so proud to see this impressive school building and there is a significance to this building. It was during a visit to this school in Mandawali when Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal had directed Minister Shri Satyendra Jain to renovate all the school buildings in Delhi.”

Deputy CM said that even if the Covid-19 vaccine is available, it will be difficult to compensate for the learning loss due to Covid-19. Every day, we pray for the schools to reopen and get re-energized like pre-Covid times. “God is testing our patience in these challenging times. But I am proud that despite these challenges our Team Education has been persistent with its efforts. Everyone has worked really hard to reach to 94% of the students through online and semi online teaching,” he added.

He said that non-availability of mid-day meals due to the closure of schools has been a challenge. There were many families who were finding it hard to have enough on their plates. Massive unemployment due to Covid-19 has aggravated the issue. On the directions of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, we experimented by transferring money directly to the students’ account. It was CM’s idea that it’s better to distribute ration rather than transferring money. Hence, we are now providing dry ration to more than 8 lakh students in government and government-aided schools in Delhi. He added that it is the first of its kind initiative in the country. “Today, the Hon’ble Chief Minister is starting this program and it will continue until the schools reopen,” said the Dy CM.

दिल्ली सरकार अपने स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले करीब 8 लाख बच्चों को मिड-डे-मील योजना के तहत सूखा राशन देगी। जब तक स्कूल फिर से नहीं खुल जाते हैं, तब तक यह योजना जारी रहेगी। सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने मंडावली स्थित एसकेवी नंबर-3 स्कूल में बच्चों को सूखे राशन का किट बांट कर इसकी शुरूआत की। इस दौरान सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि दिल्ली सरकार के स्कूलों में आज भी वही शिक्षक और बच्चे हैं, लेकिन माहौल बदल गया है। अब हमारे बच्चों के आईआईटी और मेडिकल में एडमिशन हो रहे हैं और दुनिया भर के लोग दिल्ली के स्कूल देखने आते हैं। यह दिल्ली वालों के लिए गर्व की बात है। कोरोना काल में भी हमारे स्कूलों के 94 प्रतिशत बच्चे अभी भी आॅनलाइन कक्षाएं ले रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा आॅटो-टैक्सी चालकों के लिए किए गए काम की तारीफ गोवा तक हो रही है। यह भी अपने आप में एक मिसाल है कि कोई मुख्यमंत्री टैक्सी ड्राइवर का एसएमएस पढ़ता है और उसका संज्ञान लेकर 24 घंटे के अंदर रोड टैक्स माफ करने का आदेश देता है। इस दौरान उपमुख्यमंत्री एवं शिक्षा मंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया समेत अन्य गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित रहे।

मंडावली स्थित एसकेवी नंबर-3 में मिड-डे-मील योजना के तहत दिल्ली सरकार के स्कूली छात्रों को सूखे राशन का किट वितरण कार्यक्रम के दौरान सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि जब मुझे इस कार्यक्रम के लिए बुलाया गया था, तब मैंने कहा था कि मैं स्कूल भी देखूंगा। इसलिए मैने यहां आकर स्कूल भ्रमण करके देखा। स्कूल बहुत ही शानदार है। पूरे देश भर में इस तरह के सरकारी स्कूल देखने को नहीं मिलते हैं। पहले स्कूलों की दशा काफी खराब होती थी। स्कूल टूटे-फूटे होते थे, टूटी फूटी दीवारें होती थीं। स्कूलों में डेस्क नहीं होते थे, बोर्ड ठीक से नहीं होते थे। स्कूलों में सुविधाएं नहीं होती थी। स्कूलों का माहौल बड़ा गंदा होता था। इस वजह से न पढ़ने का मन करता था और न पढ़ाने का मन करता था। अगर पढ़ाई नहीं होती थी, तो हम कहते थे कि अध्यापक पढ़ा नहीं रहे हैं। अध्यापक तो आज भी वही हैं, लेकिन वही अध्यापक आज बहुत शानदार पढ़ा रहे हैं, क्योंकि माहौल बदल गया है। वही अध्यापक आज कमाल करके दिखा रहे हैं। हमारे बच्चों के आईआईटी, डॉक्टरी, वकालत में दाखिले हो रहे हैं। वही छात्र हैं, वही अध्यापक हैं, लेकिन माहौल बदल गया है। यह स्कूल हमारे दिल्ली के लोगों के लिए बड़े गर्व और शान की बात बनते जा रहे हैं। दुनिया और देश भर से लोग अब अपने स्कूल देखने के लिए दिल्ली आते हैं। आज आपका स्कूल देख कर के मेरा मन भी बड़ा खुश हो गया। 

*हर बच्चे के अनुसार छह महीने का राशन परिवार को दिया जाएगा, बच्चों की पौष्टिक आहार में किसी भी तरह की कमी नहीं आनी चाहिए- अरविंद केजरीवाल*

सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि आज हम लोग यहां पर बच्चों के मिड-डे-मील के ड्राई राशन वितरित करने का कार्यक्रम शुरू करने के लिए इकट्ठे हुए हैं। पिछले 9 महीने बहुत मुश्किल से गुजरे और अब यह मुश्किल कब खत्म होगी इसकी उम्मीद दूर-दूर तक नजर नहीं आ रही। दुनिया भर में कह रहे हैं कि वैक्सीन तो आ गई है। हमारे देश में भी उम्मीद है कि जल्द आ जाएगी। मैं उम्मीद करता हूं कि इस वैक्सीन से समाधान निकल आए, ताकि फिर से जिंदगी पटरी पर आ जाए। जब तक वैक्सीन नहीं आती और चीजें ठीक नहीं होती हैं, तब तक अपने को हर चीज का कुछ न कुछ समाधान निकालना पड़ेगा। पिछले 9 महीने में सबसे ज्यादा परेशानी बच्चों को हुई है। बच्चे कमरे में बंद होकर नहीं रह सकते, बच्चों के अंदर उर्जा होती है। बच्चे इधर उधर उछल-कूद करना चाहते हैं। स्कूल जाना चाहते हैं और खेल कूद करना चाहते हैं, लेकिन सब चीजें बंद करनी पड़ीं। जिंदगी में कभी नहीं सोचा था कि बच्चे कंप्यूटर और फोन के आगे बैठ कर पढ़ाई किया करेंगे। पहले अगर बच्चा ज्यादा कंप्यूटर पर बैठता था, तो मां-बाप कहते थे कि कंप्यूटर छोड़ दे, आंखें खराब हो जाएंगी। अब कहते हैं कि कंप्यूटर के सामने थोड़ी देर पढ़ ले, अब पूरा माहौल ही बदल गया है। मुझे बेहद खुशी है कि इस दौरान हमारे अध्यापकों ने बहुत शानदार काम किया। जैसा अभी शिक्षा मंत्री जी ने बताया कि हमारे 94 प्रतिशत बच्चों की ऑनलाइन कक्षाएं अभी भी चल रही हैं। 

सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि हमने पहले कोशिश की कि मिड डे मील का जो पैसा बनता है, वह अभिभावकों के खाते में डाल दिया जाए, ताकि बच्चों को अच्छा भोजन मिलता रहे। फिर कई अभिभावकों ने कहा कि पैसा तो देते हैं, लेकिन कहीं भी खर्च हो जाता है। इसकी जगह अगर सीधे राशन दे दिया जाए, तो अच्छा रहेगा। ऐसे में आज राशन देने की प्रक्रिया शुरू की जा रही है। हर बच्चे के मुताबिक जितना राशन बनता है, उतना 6 महीने का राशन हर परिवार को दे दिया जाएगा। बच्चों के पौष्टिक आहार में किसी भी प्रकार की कमी नहीं आनी चाहिए।

सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि लॉक डाउन सबसे मुश्किल दौर था। कोरोना के समय में मुश्किल अभी भी है, लेकिन अभी कम से कम जिंदगी चल पड़ी है। लॉकडाउन में सब कुछ बंद हो गया था। उस लॉकडाउन के दौरान लोगों की रोजी-रोटी खत्म हो गई। नौकरी चली गई, दुकानें बंद हो गईं। न टैक्सी चलती थी, न ऑटो चलते थे और बाजार बंद थे। ऐसे में गरीब आदमी कहां से पैसे लाएगा। खास तौर पर वो आदमी जो रोज कमाता है और रोज खाता है। उसके लिए तो खाने के लाले पड़ गए थे। कौन सरकार कितनी जिम्मेदार है और कौन सरकार इतने कठिन समय में अपने लोगों का ख्याल रखती है, यह सभी सरकारों के लिए परीक्षा का दौर था। उस वक्त हमने पूरी कोशिश की कि हमारे लोगों को कम से कम खाने की दिक्कत नहीं होनी चाहिए। हम किसी को बहुत ज्यादा तो नहीं दे सकते थे। उस दौरान दिल्ली सरकार की तरफ से 10 लाख लोगों के लिए रोज खाना बनता था। दिल्ली सरकार और एमसीडी के स्कूल खुलवा कर सभी में इंतजाम किया था। सरकार खाना पकाकर रोजाना 10 लाख लोगों को लंच और डिनर खिलाती थी। उसमें ऐसा नहीं था कि वो सिर्फ बीपीएल के लिए हो, कोई भी आ जाए। यह एक तरह से लंगर था और धर्म का काम था। कोई लाइन में लग जाए और कोई भी आकर खाना खा ले। उस समय 10 लाख लोग खाना खाते थे। उसको तब तक चलाते रहे, जब तक लाइनें लगनी बंद नहीं हो गई। जब लोगों ने आना बंद कर दिया, तभी हमने उसे बंद किया। 

मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि राशन की दुकानों के जरिए 3 महीने तक हर माह एक करोड़ लोगों को हमने सूखा राशन पहुंचाया था। दिल्ली की आबादी 2 करोड़ है, यानि दिल्ली की 50 फीसदी आबादी को हमने गेहूं, चावल, दाल, तेल और मसाले 3 महीने दिया, ताकि कोई भूखा न मरे। दिल्ली के जितने बुजुर्ग हैं, उनकी पेंशन दोगुनी कर दी। लॉकडाउन के समय में पेशन ढाई हजार की जगह 5-5 हजार महीने कर दी थी। दिल्ली में जितनी विधवाएं हैं, उन सभी की पेंशन हमने दोगुनी कर दी। उस समय पर पेंशन ढाई हजार से पांच हजार रुपए कर दी थी। दिल्ली में जितने मजदूर हैं, जो निर्माण श्रमिक हैं, उन लोगों को हमने लॉकडाउन के दौरान पांच-पांच हजार रुपए खाते में डलवा दिए। क्योंकि निर्माण कार्य तो उन दिनों में चल नहीं रहा था। ऐसे में जो दिहाड़ी मजदूर हैं, वह पैसा कहां से लाएगा। दिल्ली के जितने टैक्सी-ऑटो ड्राइवर हैं, उन सब के खातों में हमने पांच-पांच हजार रुपए डलवा दिए। जब तक लॉकडाउन चला तब तक हमने पांच-पांच हजार रुपए हर महीने उनके खाते में डलवाए।

सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि कुछ टैक्सी ड्राइवर अभी गोवा से दिल्ली आए हुए थे। उन्होंने मेरे कार्यालय में फोन किया कि हम मुख्यमंत्री जी से मिलना है। जब लोग दिल्ली आते हैं, तो कई बार फोन करते हैं कि हमें मुख्यमंत्री जी से मिलना है। मेरे पास अगर समय होता है तो मैं वैसे ही मिल लेता हूं। इससे पता चलता है कि उनके राज्य में क्या चल रहा है और हमारे राज्य में क्या चल रहा है। मैंने उनको मिलने के लिए बुला लिया। उनमें से एक योगेश टैक्सी ड्राइवर था, जो उन सबको लेकर आया था। उसने कहा कि दिल्ली में कुछ काम था, तो गोवा से आए हैं। आपके स्कूलों के बारे में बड़ा सुना था, तो हमने आपके स्कूल देखे। स्कूल, अस्पताल बहुत शानदार हैं। योगेश ने बताया कहा कि आपने टैक्सी और ऑटो ड्राइवर के लिए जो काम किया, वो किसी सरकार ने नहीं किया। इस पर मैंने कहा कि क्या काम किया है? तो उन्होंने कहा कि आपने कोरोना के समय पर पांच-पांच रुपए महीना दिए। मुझे बड़ी खुशी हुई कि दिल्ली के ऑटो चालक और टैक्सी चालक को जो 5-5 हजार रुपए हमने दिए उसकी चर्चा गोवा के अंदर भी हो रही है। गोवा के टैक्सी ड्राइवर भी इस बात की चर्चा कर रहे हैं कि दिल्ली सरकार ने उनके खातों में पांच-पांच हजार रुपए डाले। टैक्सी ड्राइवर बोले कि आज तक कोई भी सरकार नहीं आई, जो टैक्सी, ऑटो ड्राइवरों के बारे में सोचें। मैंने फिर उन्हें बिठाकर समझाया कि हमने केवल कोरोना-कोरोना में नहीं किया। हमारी सरकार जब बनी थी, तब टैक्सी-ऑटो चालकों को सरकार से 100 काम पड़ते हैं। हर काम कराने के लिए रिश्वत देनी पड़ती थी। हमने सारे नियम व कायदे कानून बदल दिए। अब अगर आपको जितने काम सरकार से कराने पड़ते हैं। अब हमारे ड्राइवरों को कोई रिश्वत नहीं देनी पड़ती। सब बदल दिया है, क्योंकि अब ईमानदार सरकार आ गई है। दिल्ली के काम की तारीफ पूरे देश में होती है।

मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि अभी-अभी चार-पांच दिन पहले मेरे पास एक दिल्ली के टैक्सी ड्राइवर का एसएमएस आया। उसने लिखा कि हमें कोरोना के समय पर रोड टैक्स जमा कराना था। रोड टैक्स जमा नहीं करा पाए, क्योंकि पैसे नहीं थे। अब उस पर जुर्माना लग रहा है। यह जुर्माना माफ करवा दीजिए। हमने 24 घंटे के अंदर आदेश पास कर उनका जुर्माना माफ कर दिया। मुझे लगता है कि अपने आप में शायद यह एक अलग मिसाल होगी कि कोई टैक्सी ड्राइवर अपने राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री को एसएमएस कर सकता है। उस राज्य का मुख्यमंत्री टैक्सी ड्राइवर का एसएमएस पढ़ता है। उसके ऊपर संज्ञान लेकर 24 घंटे के अंदर पूरे राज्य के लिए आदेश भी हो जाता है। वह केवल इसीलिए, क्योंकि यह आम आदमी की सरकार है, आम लोगों की सरकार है। हम आम आदमी से जुड़े हुए हैं। हमें पता है कि दिल्ली के किस तबके को, किस किस्म की कहां परेशानियां हो रही हैं। हमें जैसे ही पता चलता है कि कहीं, किसी भी जगह लोगों को परेशानी हो रही है। तुरंत आपकी सरकार आपके लिए काम करती है। आज यहां जितने लोग आए हुए हैं और सभी अभिभावकों से मैं कहना चाहूंगा कि यह वक्त बड़ा मुश्किल दौर है। खासतौर पर बच्चों के लिए तो बहुत मुश्किल है। इस दौर में बच्चे आप लोगों को अपने अपने घर में काफी परेशान भी कर रहे होंगे। बच्चों का अच्छे से ख्याल रखना। इस दौरान कोशिश करना कि अच्छे से पढ़ सकें और ऑनलाइन कक्षाएं ले सकें। आप मां बाप हैं, उनके लिए जो राशन लेकर जा रहे हो, केवल इस राशन से ही नहीं, बल्कि पूरी तरह से उनके खाने-पीने का ख्याल रखना। मैं उम्मीद करता हूं कि जल्द से जल्द हमारी वैक्सीन आएगी और इस कोरोना काल से लोगों को मुक्ति मिलेगी।

उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा कि मंडावली के इसी स्कूल का दौरा करने के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल जी ने मंत्री सतेंद्र जैन को निर्देश दिया था कि सभी स्कूलों के अच्छे भवन बनाए जाएं। अब इस स्कूल की शानदार इमारत देखकर काफी गर्व होता है। कोरोना की वैक्सीन तो बन जाएगी, लेकिन शिक्षा के नुकसान की भरपाई मुश्किल है। हम रोज ईश्वर से प्रार्थना करते हैं कि स्कूल फिर से आबाद हों।

उपमुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि ईश्वर हमारे धैर्य की परीक्षा ले रहा है, लेकिन मुझे गर्व है कि तमाम मुश्किलों के बावजूद टीम एजुकेशन ने हिम्मत नहीं छोड़ी। सबने मेहनत करके 94 प्रतिशत बच्चों तक ऑनलाइन और सेमी ऑनलाइन के जरिए पहुंचने की बड़ी सफलता हासिल की। स्कूल बंद होने के कारण मिड-डे-मील बंद होना भी एक बड़ी समस्या थी। बहुत से परिवारों के पास दो वक्त की रोटी जुटाना मुश्किल था। कोरोना में रोजी-रोटी बंद होने के कारण यह मुश्किल और बढ़ गई। ऐसे में मुख्यमंत्री जी ने कहा कि बच्चों के अकाउंट में पैसे जमा कर दो। हमने यह प्रयोग किया। फिर मुख्यमंत्री जी ने कहा कि पैसे के बदले बच्चों के घर राशन पहुंचाना ज्यादा अच्छा होगा। इसलिए अब दिल्ली के सभी सरकारी और सहायता प्राप्त स्कूलों के आठ लाख बच्चों को सूखा राशन किट दिए जा रहे हैं। पूरे देश में कहीं ऐसी योजना नहीं है। आज मुख्यमंत्री जी खुद इसकी शुरुआत कर रहे हैं। जब तक स्कूल फिर से नहीं खुलते हैं, तब तक यह योजना चलती रहेगी।

उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा है कि देश की इकोनॉमी आगे बढ़ाने में हमारी प्रतिभाओं का उपयोग करने का वक्त आ चुका है। हमने अपने बच्चों को पढ़ाकर दुनिया की बड़ी कंपनियों में बड़े पैकेज की नौकरी दिलाने तक सीमित न रहें। हमारी सफलता का पैमाना यह होना चाहिए कि हमारे बच्चों ने दुनिया की कितनी बड़ी कंपनियां खड़ी की। किसी विदेशी कंपनी में 60 लाख के पैकेज पर नौकरी करने वाले स्टूडेंट देश की इकोनॉमी में सिर्फ अपनी सैलरी का योगदान कर पाएंगे। जबकि अपनी कंपनी बनाने वाले बच्चे देश की इकोनॉमी में बड़ा योगदान करेंगे। 

इंदिरा गांधी दिल्ली तकनीकी महिला विश्वविद्यालय के तीसरे दीक्षांत समारोह में उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने आज यह बात कही। उन्होंने कहा कि विगत चार पांच वर्षों में विश्वविद्यालय ने क्वालिटी और क्वांटिटी दोनों स्तर पर काफी सफलता हासिल की है। पहले लगभग 200 सीट क्षमता थी जो अब बढ़कर लगभग 1200 हो चुकी है। दिल्ली में हर साल लगभग ढाई लाख बच्चे बारहवीं पास करते हैं। सबको उच्च शिक्षा के अच्छे अवसर देना हमारी प्राथमिकता है। इसमें इस विश्वविद्यालय का योगदान हमारे लिए गर्व की बात है।

उपमुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हम विश्वविद्यालय के लिए 50 एकड़ जमीन उपलब्ध कराने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। लेकिन 50 एकड़ वाले कैम्पस के बगैर ही विश्वविद्यालय फैकेल्टी और छात्राओं ने अपने ज्ञान और प्रोफेशनल कमिटमेंट के जरिए शानदार सफलता हासिल करके दिखा दी है। इससे पता चलता है कि शैक्षणिक उत्कृष्टता किसी विशाल परिसर की मोहताज नहीं।  मैं एक लेक्चर के लिए जब लंदन स्कूल ऑफ इकोनॉमिक्स गया, तो परिकल्पना थी कि विशाल परिसर होगा। लेकिन इसके बगैर ही दुनिया में इस संस्थान का बड़ा नाम है।

उपमुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि दिल्ली सरकार आपको बेहतरीन सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराने के लिए प्रयासरत है। लेकिन फैकेल्टी और स्टूडेंट्स की कठिन मेहनत और परिश्रम से ही विश्वविद्यालय उत्कृष्टता की ऊंचाइयों तक पहुंचेगा। इसलिए आप अपनी गति बनाए रखें। उपमुख्यमंत्री ने इस बात पर खुशी जताई कि विश्वविद्यालय में अभी 200 छात्राएं पीएचडी कर रही हैं।

उपमुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार 20 साल के कुल 86 स्कूल टॉपर्स में लड़कियां मात्र 31 हैं। विदेशों में अवसर पाने वाले टॉपर्स में भी लड़के अधिक हैं। इससे हमारे समाज के सॉफ्टवेयर या ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम में मौजूद लैंगिक पूर्वाग्रह का पता चलता है। लेकिन यह विश्वविद्यालय इस कमी को ठीक करने के लिए हमारी बेटियों की प्रतिभा निखारने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहा है।

उन्होंने कहा कि हम अपने विश्वविद्यालयों की सफलता का आकलन उसकी गुणवत्ता के आधार पर करें। कितने का पैकेज मिला, इसके बजाय किन विषयों पर कितने रिसर्च हुए और हमारे बच्चों ने खुद कितनी कंपनियां बनाई, इस आधार पर होना चाहिए। इस विश्वविद्यालय की छात्राओं को शानदार प्लेसमेंट और बड़े पैकेज मिलना हमारे लिए गर्व की बात है। लेकिन हम सिर्फ नौकरी तलाशने वालों की फैक्ट्री बनने के बदले नौकरी देने वाली उद्यमिता सोच विकसित करने का लक्ष्य रखें। 

उपमुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि अभी हम अपनी प्रतिभाओं को अच्छी तरह निखारकर बड़ी कंपनियों के हवाले कर देते हैं। लेकिन अब वक्त आ गया जब हम अपने बच्चों को दुनिया की ऐसी बड़ी कंपनियां खड़ी करने योग्य बना सकें। हमारे बच्चों की प्रतिभा का लाभ अगर अमेरिकन कंपनियां उठा सकती हैं, तो उसका पूरा लाभ हमारे देश को मिले, इसके लिए एंटरप्रेन्योर माइंडसेट विकसित करना जरूरी है। हमारे बच्चों को मिले अच्छे पैकेज का उत्सव हम जरूर मनाएँ, लेकिन अपने बच्चों में हम यह सपना भी पैदा करें कि वह खुद दूसरों को जॉब देकर उत्सव मना सकें।

आज दीक्षांत समारोह में 487 छात्राओं को स्नातक (359), स्नातकोत्तर (119) और पीएचडी (09) उपाधियों का वितरण किया गया। साथ ही, दो चांसलर अवार्ड, 11 वाइस चांसलर अवार्ड और एक एक्जेम्पलरी अवार्ड भी दिया गया। इंजीनियरिंग और विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में आज डिग्री पाने वाले काफी स्टूडेंट्स देश भर में महत्त्वपूर्ण संस्थाओं में कार्यरत हैं।

विश्वविद्यालय की कुलपति डॉ अमिता देव ने कहा कि इंजीनियरिंग, साइंस और टेक्नोलॉजी के क्षेत्र में छात्राओं के लिए प्रोफेशनल एडुकेशन और रिसर्च के एक उत्कृष्ट संस्थान के बतौर हमारे विश्वविद्यालय ने प्रतिष्ठा हासिल की है। उन्होंने विभिन्न पाठ्यक्रमों और उपलब्धियों का विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया। उन्होंने बताया कि विश्वविद्यालय की छात्राओं को दुनिया की प्रसिद्ध कंपनियों में अच्छा प्लेसमेंट मिल रहा है। कोरोना संकट के बावजूद इस वर्ष प्लेसमेंट के लिए 96 कंपनियां आईं। विश्वविद्यालय की छात्राओं अच्छे पैकेज के साथ ऑफर मिल रहे हैं। इसमें 59.45 लाख का टॉप पैकेज शामिल है। फूल टाइम जॉब के 316 ऑफर के साथ ही 189 इंटर्नशिप ऑफर मिले।

At the third convocation of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said that the time has come to utilise our country’s talent for our economic progress. He emphasised that the aim of the education shouldn’t be to just get high salary packages in multinational companies. Rather it should be to equip our children so that they create many multinational companies. Students earning a high salary in a multinational firm will only be able to contribute monetarily to our economy whereas students founding new companies will contribute much more to our economic progress.

Deputy CM Sisodia said that over the last 4-5 years, IGDTUW has progressed well in terms of quality and quantity. The number of seats has increased from 200 to 1200. He said, “Every year close to 2.5 lakh students pass out from Class 12 in Delhi alone. Delhi government is committed to provide quality higher education to all of them. We are proud of IGDTUW’s role in providing quality education in Delhi and it’s admirable to see the hard work put in by the faculty and students.” He said that it’s important to maintain the high pace of good work. 

Deputy CM said that the government is in the process of providing 50 acres of land for the university campus. Even though IGDTUW doesn’t have a large campus, the faculty and students of the university have shown good progress due to their continuous pursuit of knowledge and professional commitment. This proves that quality education can be provided irrespective of a large campus. He shared the experience of his visit to London School of Economics (LSE), where he had imagined it to be a huge campus. But, despite a small campus, LSE has become an institution of global repute. 

Deputy CM Sisodia appreciated the fact that currently there are 200 female students pursuing PhD in the university. He said, “As per a report, there are only 31 girl students among 86 school toppers in last 20 years. Boy school toppers get more work opportunities in the foreign countries as well. This highlights the gender bias in our society’s operating system. But IGDTUW is playing a crucial role in shaping the talent of our girl students.”

He said that the true parameter of a university’s success should be the number of research papers published or the number of companies founded by its students. IGDTUW’s students have secured good placements and high salary packages. However, that shouldn’t be the only metric of a university’s progress. He suggested that university’s aim should be to inculcate job-creating and entrepreneurial mindset in the students rather than a job-seeking mindset.  

Deputy CM shared that most of the talent nurtured in our universities are used by large, multinational companies. But, now it’s opportune time for our students to work towards building such companies. To utilise our talent for our nation’s progress, it’s imperative that our students develop an entrepreneurial mindset. He said that we should celebrate high salary packages, but we should also celebrate when our students build companies and provide jobs to many. 

Today, 487 students (Graduate – 359, Post-graduate – 119 and PhD – 9) received their degrees during the convocation ceremony. Two students received Chancellor award and eleven students received Vice-chancellor award, while one student received Exemplary award. University VC Dr Amita Dev said that IGDTUW is now seen as a reputed institution for professional education and research in the field of engineering, science and technology. She outlined different courses and achievements of the university. She mentioned that the university students have secured good placements in many top companies. Despite the Covid challenges, 96 companies came for the placements and offered high salary packages to the students. 

This year, the highest salary package of 59.45 lakh INR was offered to a student. Along with 316 full time job offers, 189 internship offers have also been rolled out to the students. Prof Arun Sharma (Dean, Examinations), Prof Jasdeep Kaur Dhanoa (Dean) and Prof Ashwani Kumar (Registrar and Dean) were also present during the convocation ceremony.

Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Shri Satyendar Jain said that the positivity rate has been continuously less than 5% since the past 7 days which is a sign of relief as it points to the fact that the effect of the third wave in Delhi is on perpetual decline. Positivity rate has seen a major difference of 80% since November 7, 2020. Thanking everyone involved, especially the frontline and healthcare workers, he said that without their continued support, Delhi would not have been able to achieve this. At present, there are around 13000 beds vacant, a number which is unmatched by any other Indian state. Delhi has the infrastructural ability for storage as well as application of the vaccine, and is just waiting for it to be made available. 
He said there were 2463 new cases in Delhi yesterday and the positivity rate was 3.42%. Positivity rate has been constantly declining and has been below the 5% mark since the past seven days, which is a sign of relief. There were 50 deaths yesterday, but from November 1 to present, this has been the lowest statistic. The positivity rate of RT-PCR test is looming around 6-6.5%. Overall positivity rate has come down to 3% as compared to 15.26% on November 7. The rate has seen a significant difference of 80%. 
“We can say that the third wave in Delhi is fading away, however it is not over yet. I sincerely thank all the frontline and health workers who have been rigorously active in the course of this pandemic, putting their lives at stake in order to provide service to the citizens. I applaud Delhi’s citizens for their continued support. I request all Delhiites to continue taking all the necessary precautions in order to successfully combat the third wave” said Shri Jain.
Responding to the query surrounding the death rate, the minister said, “Earlier, we saw a sudden increase in deaths because of the hazardous pollution levels in Delhi. Combined with the virus, a lot of people were indisposed. Still, a lot of people are admitted in the hospitals. This has a lagging effect meaning that we see changes after a gap of 2-3 weeks. Now that cases have decreased, the death rate too will eventually fall” 
Shedding light on the vacancy of beds in Delhi hospitals, Shri Jain said, “Delhi has 18800 beds, out of which more than 13000 beds are vacant. This number remains unmatched by any other Indian state. However the situation of ICU beds, is under review” 
More than 2 lakh registrations have come for the first trial of the Covid-19 vaccine in Delhi. The priority is healthcare and frontline workers. After which the focus will be on the old and subsequently moving to the entire population of Delhi. “Delhi Government is fully capable of rolling out the vaccine to the entire population of Delhi. We are prepared with the storage facilities too. We are just waiting for it to be made available to us” the minister said. 
“Central government should agree to the demands being made by the food soldiers of India, our farmers,” said Shri Jain, on the ongoing farmer agitation.*****

नई दिल्ली, 10 दिसंबर, 2020 दिल्ली के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री  श्री सतेंद्र जैन ने कहा कि दिल्ली में कल कोरोना संक्रमण के 2463 नए मामले सामने आए और पॉजिटिविटी दर 3.42 रही। पिछ्ले 7 दिनों से दिल्ली में पॉजिटिविटी दर 5 प्रतिशत से कम है, जबकि 7 नवंबर को पॉजिटिविटी रेट 15.26 प्रतिशत थी। उन्होंने कहा कि आने वाले दिनों में इसमें और कमी आने की संभावना है। 
श्री सतेंद्र जैन ने आज प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित करते कहा कि आरटी-पीसीआर टेस्ट की पॉजिटिविट दर में भी काफी कमी आई है। उन्होंने बताया कि पहले आरटी-पीसीआर टेस्ट की पॉजिटिविटी दर 30 प्रतिशत तक हो गई थी, जो अब घट कर 6 से 6.5 प्रतिशत तक आ गई है। स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने बताया कि दिल्ली में 7 नवंबर के बाद कोरोना के मामले में लगातार कमी आ रही है और यह कमी लगभग 80 प्रतिशत तक की है। सतेंद्र जैन ने कह कि दिल्ली में कोरोना मरीजों के लिए 18,800 बेड हैं, इसमें से 13,000 बेड अभी खली हैं, जो देश में किसी भी राज्य से सबसे ज्यादा है।

स्वास्थ्य मंत्री  श्री सतेंद्र जैन ने कहा कि हम कह सकते हैं कि दिल्ली में कोरोना की तीसरी लहर अब कमजोर हो चुकी है और यह जल्द ही खत्म होने वाली है। हालांकि अभी भी हमें सावधानी और संयम रखना होगा। हमें ईमानदारी से कोरोना के गाइडलाइन का पालन करना होगा। उन्होंने दिल्ली निवासियों की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि दिल्ली के अधिकांश लोग सरकार द्वारा जारी दिशा-निर्देशों का पालन कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कोरोना योद्धाओं और दिल्ली वासियों की तारीफ करते हुए कहा कि सब के सहयोग से हमने मुश्किल समय पार कर लिया है और अब दिल्ली में स्थिति काफी सामान्य है।
*प्रदूषण के कारण हुई थी मौतों के आंकड़े में वृद्धि-  श्री सतेंद्र जैन
कोरोना के कारण मरने वालों की संख्या में बढ़ोतरी का जवाब देते हुए सतेंद्र जैन ने कहा कि दिल्ली में प्रदूषण के खतरनाक स्तर के कारण मौतों में वृद्धि हुई थी। कोरना के साथ प्रदूषण के खतरनाक स्तर ने कोरोना मरीजों पर दोहरा हमला किया था। अभी भी बहुत से लोग अस्पतालों में भर्ती हैं, लेकिन अब धीरे-धीरे हालात काबू में आ रहे हैं। स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने कहा कि अब नए मामलों में भी कमी आई है, तो मृत्यु दर में भी धीरे-धीरे गिरावट आ रही है।

स्वास्थ्य मंत्री श्री  सतेंद्र जैन ने बताया कि दिल्ली में कोविड वैक्सीन के पहले फेज के लिए 2 लाख से अधिक लोगों ने पंजीकरण कराया है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारी सबसे सबसे पहली प्राथमिकता स्वास्थ्य कर्मी और फ्रंट लाइन योद्धाओं को वैक्सीन देने की है। उसके बाद हमारे बुजुर्ग और बच्चों को वैक्सीन दी जाएगी। फिर हम सारे दिल्ली का वैक्सीनेशन करेंगे। मंत्री ने कहा दिल्ली सरकार, दिल्ली की पूरी आबादी को टीका लगाने में पूरी तरह सक्षम है। हमने वैक्सीन के लिए स्टोरेज के लिए भी इंतजाम कर लिए हैं। हम बस वैक्सीन का इंतजार कर रहे हैं।

किसान आन्दोलन से जुड़े सवालों का जवाब देते हुए स्वास्थ्य मंत्री श्री सतेंद्र जैन ने कहा कि किसान हमारे देश के रीढ़ की हड्डी हैं। केंद्र सरकार को किसान कि सारी मांगे तुरंत मान लेनी चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि किसान हमारे अन्नदाता हैं, उनको परेशान नहीं किया जाना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि अरविंद केजरीवाल की सरकार और आम आदमी पार्टी का हर एक कार्यकर्त्ता किसानों के मुद्दे का समर्थन करता है और हम हर तरह से किसानों की मदद करने को तैयार हैं।

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia laid the foundation stone of ‘Kala Kunj’, Delhi Archives Annexe & Cultural Hub at the Department of Delhi Archives today. Shri Sisodia said, “We are laying the foundation of an important building. This building will keep our future safe and will also make our present dignified.” 
Shri Sisodia said that ‘Kala Kunj’ will have a state-of-the-art auditorium with a capacity of 500 audience with excellent audio-visual facilities. It will also host art exhibitions, archives, libraries, a café, and offer a mix of cultural activities. “It will be an important and dedicated Centre for cultural and intellectual activities for Delhiites,” he added. 
Shri Sisodia said, “It is necessary to preserve our heritage in the form of records. This will ensure a dedicated space in conserving this country’s rich archival heritage, and history so the future generations can stay connected to the culture. The annexation of Delhi Archives will be very useful in the direction of cherishing and continuously advancing the cultural heritage of the country.” 
On this occasion, Shri Sisodia also inaugurated a short-term skill development training centre on record management, and preservation of records which will open up new employment opportunities for the youth. This training centre will be operated by the department in collaboration with Primero Skills And Training. 
Shri Sisodia said, “In some government offices bundles of old documents are poorly kept, and preserved, while in some offices they are preserved well. And that’s possible due to some creative officers, and their professional training. So, special training will be imparted to 60 young professionals every three months at Delhi Archives so these records are available to future generations in a professional manner,” he added. 
Shri Sisodia said that history is written either by the rulers, or the writers. History written by the rulers advocates their interest, whereas history written by the writer serves the truth of the people. This building will serve the purpose of writing real history by the writer, not by the rulers. “All documents will be preserved properly here so that it’s possible to revisit true history even after thousands of years,” he added. 
Shri Sisodia said that construction of an additional building is a sign of progress and diligence of the Archives Department. The work of completion of this project of about 50 crores has been assigned to Delhi Tourism and Transport Development Corporation, and is expected to be completed in 24 months. 
It is noteworthy that the Delhi Archives Department was established in 1972, but the  department has been functioning in its current office since 1986. An additional annexation was under consideration since 2013 due to the continued expansion of records. The foundation stone was laid today after administrative approval in 2020.
Naresh Yadav (MLA, Mehrauli), and Somnath Bharti (MLA, Malviya Nagar) were present at the ceremony. Manisha Saxena, Secretary (Arts, Culture and Language), Government of Delhi; Mohammad A. Abid, Special Secretary (Arts, Culture and Language), Government of Delhi, and Sanjay Kumar Garg (Head of Office, Archives) also attended the ceremony. 
One of the main objectives of the construction of this annex is to also provide South Delhi a cultural centre where Delhiites can come and connect with art, culture, heritage and history.

उपमुख्यमंत्री  श्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने आज कुतुब इंस्टीट्यूशनल एरिया में ‘कला कुंज’ का शिलान्यास किया। दिल्ली अभिलेखागार परिसर में यह सांस्कृतिक केन्द्र बनेगा। श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि आज हम एक महत्वपूर्ण इमारत की नींव रख रहे हैं। यह इमारत हमारे आने वाले कल को सुरक्षित रखने के साथ ही हमारे आज को भी गरिमामय करेगी।
श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि ‘कला कुंज’ में शानदार आॅडियो विजुअल सुविधाओं सहित 500 दर्शक क्षमता वाला अत्याधुनिक सभागार होगा। इसमें अभिलेखागार, कला प्रदर्शनी, पुस्तकालय, कैफे जैसी सुविधाएं भी होंगी। यह दिल्ली के नागरिकों के लिए सांस्कृतिक एवं बौद्धिक गतिविधियों का महत्वपूर्ण केंद्र होगा।
श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि अभिलेखों के रूप में हमारी विरासत का संरक्षण करना जरूरी है। यह भावी पीढ़ियों के लिए धरोहर है और सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियां उन्हें अपने देश की संस्कृति से जोड़े रखती हैं। देश की सांस्कृतिक विरासत को संजोने और निरंतर आगे बढ़ाने की दिशा में दिल्ली अभिलेखागार का उपभवन काफी उपयोगी होगा। 
इस मौके पर श्री सिसोदिया ने अभिलेखों के संरक्षण पर आधारित कौशल विकास प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र का भी उद्घाटन किया। उन्होंने कहा कि कुछ सरकारी कार्यालयों में पुराने दस्तावेजों के बंडल बेहद खराब तरीके से रखे मिलते हैं जबकि कुछ कार्यालयों में काफी अच्छी तरह सहेजकर रखा जाता है। कुछ रचनात्मक अफसरों की पेशेवर कला के कारण यह संभव होता है। उस कला को प्रोफेशनल तरीके से भावी पीढ़ियों तक पहुंचाने के लिए दिल्ली अभिलेखागार में हर तीन माह पर 60 युवाओं को विशेष प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा।
श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि इतिहास या तो विजेता की कलम से लिखा जाता है, या फिर कागज की कोख से। विजेता की कलम से लिखा गया इतिहास मनमाना होता है जबकि कागज की कोख से निकला इतिहास सच होता है। इसलिए यह निर्माणाधीन इमारत कल, आज और कल के लिए महत्वपूर्ण होगी। इसमें उन तमाम दस्तावेजों को सहेजकर रखा जाएगा, जिनके जरिए हजारों साल बाद भी आज का सच्चा इतिहास लिखना संभव हो। 
उल्लेखनीय है कि लगभग 50 करोड़ की इस परियोजना का कार्य दिल्ली पर्यटन और परिवहन विकास निगम को सौंपा गया है। इसे दो साल में पूरे करने का लक्ष्य है। दिल्ली अभिलेखागार विभाग की स्थापना सन् 1972 में हुई थी। वर्तमान कार्यालय में यह विभाग सन् 1986 से कार्यरत है। अभिलेखों के निरंतर विस्तार के कारण एक अतिरिक्त उपभवन का प्रस्ताव सन् 2013 से विचाराधीन था। वर्ष 2020 में प्रशासनिक अनुमोदन के बाद आज इसका शिलान्यास किया गया।
इस अवसर पर नरेश यादव (विधायक, महरौली), सोमनाथ भारती (विधायक, मालवीय नगर) भी मौजूद थे। साथ ही, कला, संस्कृति एवं भाषा विभाग की सचिव मनीषा सक्सेना, विशेष सचिव मो. ए. आबिद तथा अभिलेखागार के कार्यालय प्रमुख संजय कुमार गर्ग भी समारोह में शामिल हुए। इस कलाकेंद्र के रूप में दक्षिणी दिल्ली को एक ऐसा सांस्कृतिक केन्द्र मिलेगा, जहां दिल्लीवासी कला, संस्कृति, विरासत और इतिहास से जुड़ सकते हैं।

In a bid to improve the air quality and control dust pollution levels in the city, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated an anti-smog gun on Wednesday. The truck-mounted anti-smog gun is a substantial step in reducing dust pollution in the city, and the truck has BS6 engine installed inside it. The newly inaugurated anti-smog gun has a water tank of a capacity of 5000 litres and will continue to function for 3-4 continuous hours. Under Delhi government’s ‘Yuddh, Pradushan ke Viruddh’ campaign, around 23 anti-smog guns have been installed in the national capital to combat dust pollution. 
The anti-smog gun is mounted on a BS6 engine truck, which is a significant step in reducing air pollution owing to lesser vehicular emission. The newly inaugurated anti-smog gun has a water tank of a capacity of 5000 litres and will continue to function for 3-4 continuous hours. The 5000 litres of the water tank can wash the road, footpath, and trees in the median and side berms as this anti-smog gun has the facility to atomize the water and carry particulate matter suspended in the air.  
Around 23 anti-smog guns have been installed by the PWD at key intersections and construction sites across Delhi, to combat dust pollution in the city. The PWD department has also taken the responsibility of sprinkling water on trees, roads, and construction sites to combat dust pollution. On the directions of CM Arvind Kejriwal, the number of anti-smog guns and water tankers will be further increased by the authorities as and when required.*****

मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने दिल्ली की वायु गुणवत्ता में सुधार और धूल प्रदूषण के स्तर को नियंत्रित करने के लिए बुधवार को एक एंटी-स्मॉग गन का उद्घाटन किया। ट्रक आधारित एंटी-स्मॉग गन शहर में धूल प्रदूषण को कम करने के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। ट्रक में बीएस-6 इंजन लगा है। एंटी-स्मॉग गन में 5000 लीटर की क्षमता वाला पानी का टैंक है और यह लगातार 3-4 घंटे काम करता रहेगा। दिल्ली सरकार के ‘युद्ध, प्रदुषण के विरुद्ध’ अभियान के तहत राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में लगभग 23 एंटी-स्मॉग गन लगाई गई हैं, ताकि धूल प्रदूषण को नियंत्रित किया जा सके।
एंटी स्मॉग गन को बीएस-6 इंजन वाले ट्रकों पर लगाया गया है, इस इंजन से बहुत कम प्रदूषण होगा, जो वायु प्रदूषण को कम करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा। एंटी-स्मॉग गन में 5000 लीटर की क्षमता वाला पानी का टैंक है और यह लगातार 3-4 घंटे काम करता रहेगा। 5000 लीटर का पानी की टैंक सड़क, फुटपाथ  और पटरी के मध्य-किनारों पर स्थित पेड़ों को धो सकता है, क्योंकि इस एंटी स्मॉग गन में पानी को फब्वारे में तब्दील करने और हवा से पार्टिक्यूलेट मेटर को खत्म करने की सुविधा है।
दिल्ली में धूल प्रदूषण से निपटने के लिए पीडब्ल्यूडी की ओर से प्रमुख चैराहों और निर्माण स्थलों पर लगभग 23 एंटी-स्मॉग गन लगाए गए हैं। धूल प्रदूषण से निपटने के लिए पीडब्ल्यूडी विभाग ने पेड़ों, सड़कों और निर्माण स्थलों पर पानी छिड़कने की जिम्मेदारी भी ली है। सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल के निर्देश पर अधिकारियों की ओर से आवश्यकता पड़ने पर एंटी-स्मॉग गन और पानी के टैंकरों की संख्या में वृद्धि की जाएगी।******

He said that to layout provisions to facilitate start-ups in Delhi, the policy is being developed after widespread consultations with TiE Delhi & leading entrepreneurs. The Delhi CM said that as part of the Start-up Policy, the Delhi govt plans to provide collateral-free loans and set up a dedicated helpline for startups to address their concerns and help them use govt’s doorstep service. The Delhi government is taking unprecedented short and long-term steps to ensure start-ups have access to the best quality human capital in Delhi itself through Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum in schools and Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University. 
CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “It’s a pleasure to be a part of the TiE Global Summit and speak to all of you today. I will be sharing with all of you Delhi’s efforts in building a comprehensive framework to turn Delhi into a global start-up destination. Like it is happening all over the world, Delhi’s economy also has been badly hit due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Many businesses are struggling to stay afloat and many people have lost their jobs. While all businesses are struggling, I can understand that start-ups must be facing an even tougher time. The Delhi government is committed to ensuring that we bounce back strongly from the impact of Covid. We want to create all the necessary conditions for businesses, and especially, start-ups to flourish. I am happy to note that Delhi has already taken a leadership position in India as a destination for start-ups.”
He said, “According to a September 2019 TiE report, there are over 7000 startups from the Delhi-NCR region. This makes Delhi as the region with the highest number of active startups in the country. It is estimated that the valuation of the city’s start-ups is about 50 billion dollars. The region has also produced about 13 unicorns like PayTM, Oyo, and Zomato. At least one new unicorn has been emerging each year since 2013. Between January and June, 2020, 109 startups were founded in Delhi-NCR, the highest number of startups being founded in the first six months of 2020 in India.”
“The report states that Delhi-NCR is set to become one of the top five global start-up hubs with 12,000 startups and 30 unicorns. Their cumulative valuation will be about 150 billion dollars by 2025. Of course, it is not a given and that is why the Delhi government is committed to taking all necessary actions to ensure Delhi becomes a preferred destination for start-ups globally. First and foremost, what all start-ups need is good infrastructure. Delhi government is committed to providing world-class infrastructure and services for start-ups and businesses in Delhi. This includes, power supply, roads, public transport, water supply, education, and health infrastructure,” he added.
He said, “Delhi is probably the only city in India that provides 24×7 power supply to its residents. We don’t have power cuts. DG sets and inverters are all becoming redundant. But this wasn’t the case 5 years back when summers in Delhi were synonymous with 4-6 hours of power cuts. Over the last 5 years, we have worked round the clock with our DISCOMS to upgrade the entire network and ensure our residents get 24×7 supply and at the cheapest possible tariff. Delhi has a complex governance setup with over 16 agencies managing the road network. That makes it difficult to upgrade the road infrastructure. But we have ambitious plans to renovate and upgrade over 500 km of the largest roads in Delhi to European standards in the next 5 years.”
“The Delhi government is also settnig up a high-tech business park at Rani Khera in 150-acres land. This will be just 15 minutes away from the Delhi International Airport. It is this first of its kind and will have IT & service industries among others. The park will have green buildings, large size workspaces on every floor, multipurpose business facilities, and pedestrian plazas. It will have retail, food and beverage (F&B) amenities of all kinds. The Delhi government will develop this first-of-its-kind business park in seven different phases. The first phase of the work will be completed by 31 August 2022. In the first phase, a multistoried building of 15 lakh square feet would be built,” said the CM.
CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “We understand that start-ups face unique challenges and therefore Delhi government is at a very advanced stage of rolling out a Start-up Policy. This will lay out a range of provisions to encourage and facilitate start-ups in Delhi. This policy is being developed after widespread consultations with TiE Delhi and several leading entrepreneurs, so we hope this will be a major boost for start-ups. For example, to help startups grow, we will form a range of networks with incubators, co-working spaces, and fabrication labs. These networks will leverage the provisions of existing stakeholders in the market. As part of the Start-up Policy, we plan to provide collateral-free loans for start-ups in priority areas. We will also enable easy access to experts who can aid start-ups with accounting, taxation, registration, legal help, digital marketing, and other such services. Further, Delhi government will align its public procurement in a manner that a fixed percentage of all of our goods and services are procured through recognized start-ups.”
“A Dedicated Helpline will also be set up to answer all startup related queries and address grievances. Individuals and Startups will be able to use the Government of Delhi’s doorstep service, by dialing 1076, to call a CA and/or lawyer to help them incorporate a company from their home or office. Besides, we will also initiate reforms so that start-ups have a single-window for all interactions with government departments and that they have opportunities to showcase their innovations through Hackathons and Start-up Challenges to investors in India and around the world,” he added.
CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “We understand that no business can survive without human capital. In fact, for start-ups competing in the 21st century, quality human resources are the most valuable asset. The Delhi government is taking unprecedented short and long-term steps to ensure start-ups have access to the best quality human capital in Delhi itself. A breakthrough step in this is the introduction of the Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum. This Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum (EMC) was aimed at instilling an innovation mindset among students. The ideas was to enable them to take their ideas to the next stage, while creating future job-providers rather than job-seekers. Under the EMC, each day, children from classes 9 to 12th in 1,024 Delhi Government schools spend 40 minutes picking up soft skills such as speaking with confidence, problem-solving, and understanding how businesses work. Students are each given INR 1,000 as ‘seed money’ to enable them to develop their ideas, and will get to keep it if their ideas grow into a money-making business. The program has gained rapid traction, having trained over 18,000 teachers in the EMC. 14,000 students have enrolled in the classes. The department is also in the process of engaging close to 17,000 entrepreneurs for classroom interactions with students on EMC. Last year, 4,000 entrepreneurs had interacted with 3,10,309 students and discussed their journey as entrepreneurs.”
“Another step we have taken in the direction of ensuring the best quality of human resources is establishing the Delhi Skills and Entrepreneurship University. The purpose of establishing this university is to fix the existing gap in the country by upskilling students and readying future-entrepreneurs of the country. This will have the capacity of enrolling at least 125,000 students, which would include short-term, long-term, diploma, degree, and Ph.D. courses,” he added. 
He said, “World-class skill centers will be set up to provide skill-based training and degrees. It will also cater to the students by identifying future-centric jobs. Tool Engineering College of Delhi, GB Pant Engineering College, ITI, and Skill Training Centres will be brought under the ambit of the university. There will also be an industry tie-up unit that will focus on forging strong ties with different industry partners. The unit will facilitate internships, placements, and offer entrepreneurship and start-up opportunities to students who want to start their own businesses. The Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University’s first academic session is expected to start next year in close consultation with companies. The companies will be treated as “customers” in this endeavor so that courses are in tune with industry demand.”

दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने आज टीआईई ग्लेबल समिति 2020 को संबोधित किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने दिल्ली में एक व्यापक बुनियादी ढांचे के निर्माण और इसे एक वैश्विक स्टार्ट-अप डेस्टिनेशन में बदलने को लेकर दिल्ली सरकार के प्रयासों को साझा किया। सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल इस शिखर सम्मेलन में भाग लेने वाले भारत के एकमात्र मुख्यमंत्री थे। उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली सरकार कोविड के प्रभाव को पीछे छोड़ते हुए मजबूती से वापसी सुनिश्चित करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। मुझे खुशी है कि दिल्ली, भारत में स्टार्ट-अप स्थान के रूप में नेतृत्व करने की स्थिति प्राप्त कर ली है। दिल्ली में 7000 से अधिक स्टार्ट-अप हैं। दिल्ली, देश में सबसे अधिक सक्रिय स्टार्ट-अप वाला शहर है, जिसका अनुमानित मुल्यांकन करीब 50 बिलियन डॉलर है। सीएम ने कहा कि दिल्ली में नए हाईटेक औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों की स्थापना के साथ पुराने औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों के उद्योगों को बिना कंवर्जन शुल्क का भुगतान किए नए क्षेत्रों में स्थानांतरित करने का विकल्प होगा, जो साफ-सुथरी और ग्रीन दिल्ली बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण कदम साबित होगा। स्टार्ट-अप नीति के तहत हम समानांतर मुक्त ऋण प्रदान करने और स्टार्टअप के लिए एक समर्पित हेल्पलाइन स्थापित करने की योजना बना रहे हैं, ताकि उनकी चिंताओं को दूर किया जा सके और सरकार की सेवाओं के उपयोग में मदद की जा सके।
मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि टीआईई ग्लोबल समिट का हिस्सा बनना और आज आप सभी से बात करना खुशी की बात है। दिल्ली को वैश्विक स्टार्ट-अप स्थान में बदलने के लिए व्यापक ढांचे के निर्माण को लेकर किए गए प्रयासों को आप सभी के साथ साझा करुंगा।
दुनिया भर की तरह दिल्ली की अर्थव्यवस्था भी कोरोना वायरस महामारी से बुरी तरह से प्रभावित हुई है। कई व्यवसाय सुचारू बने रहने के लिए संघर्ष कर रहे हैं और कई लोग अपनी नौकरी खो चुके हैं। जबकि सभी व्यवसाय संघर्ष कर रहे हैं तो मैं समझ सकता हूं कि स्टार्ट-अप को और भी कठिन समय का सामना करना पड़ रहा होगा।
दिल्ली सरकार यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है कि कोविड के प्रभाव को पीछे छोड़ते हुए मजबूती से वापसी करें। हम व्यवसायों के लिए विशेषकर स्टार्ट अप को फलने-फूलने के लिए सभी अनुकूल माहौल देना चाहते हैं। मुझे यह जानकर खुशी है कि भारत में दिल्ली ने स्टार्ट-अप स्थान के रूप में नेतृत्व की स्थिति ले ली है।
टीआईई की सितंबर 2019 के एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, दिल्ली-एनसीआर क्षेत्र से 7000 से अधिक स्टार्टअप हैं, जो देश में दिल्ली को सबसे अधिक सक्रिय स्टार्टअप का क्षेत्र बनाता है। यह अनुमान है कि शहर के स्टार्ट-अप का मूल्यांकन लगभग 50 बिलियन डॉलर के बराबर है। इस क्षेत्र में लगभग 13 प्रभावशाली स्टार्टअप जैसे पेटीएम, ओयो, और जोमैटो हैं। 2013 के बाद से प्रत्येक वर्ष कम से कम एक नया प्रभावशाली स्टार्टअप उभर रहा है। दिल्ली एनसीआर में जनवरी और जून 2020 के बीच, 109 स्टार्टअप स्थापित किए गए। इस साल के पहले छह महीनों में पूरे भारत के मुकाबले दिल्ली एनसीआर में सबसे अधिक स्टार्टअप स्थापित किए गए हैं।
रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि दिल्ली-एनसीआर शीर्ष पांच वैश्विक स्टार्ट-अप हब में से एक बनने के लिए तैयार है, जिसमें 12,000 स्टार्टअप और 30 प्रभावशाली स्टार्टअप हैं। उनका मूल्यांकन 2025 तक बढ़कर लगभग 150 बिलियन डॉलर हो जाएगा। यही कारण है कि दिल्ली सरकार, दिल्ली को विश्व स्तर पर स्टार्ट-अप का पसंदीदा स्थान सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सभी आवश्यक कार्रवाई करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
सबसे पहले और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि सभी स्टार्ट-अप्स को अच्छे बुनियादी ढांचे की जरूरत है। दिल्ली सरकार, दिल्ली में स्टार्ट-अप और व्यवसायों के लिए विश्वस्तरीय बुनियादी ढांचा और सेवाएं प्रदान करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। इसमें बिजली आपूर्ति, सड़क, सार्वजनिक परिवहन, जल आपूर्ति, शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य संबंधी बुनियादी ढांचा शामिल है।
दिल्ली शायद भारत का एकमात्र शहर है, जो अपने निवासियों को 24 घंटे बिजली की आपूर्ति प्रदान करता है। हमारे यहां बिजली कटौती नहीं है। डीजी सेट और इंवर्टर सभी बेकार हो रहे हैं, लेकिन 5 साल पहले दिल्ली में ऐसा नहीं था, तब गर्मियों में 4 से 6 घंटे बिजली कटौती होती थी। पिछले 5 वर्षों में हमने पूरे नेटवर्क को अपग्रेड करने और संभवत सबसे कम टैरिफ पर लोगों को 24 घंटे बिजली आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करने के लिए बिजली कंपनियों के साथ चैबीसों घंटे काम किया है।
दिल्ली में 16 से अधिक एजेंसियों के सड़क नेटवर्क का प्रबंधन करना एक जटिल शासन व्यवस्था है। जिससे सड़क के बुनियादी ढांचे को उन्नत करना मुश्किल हो जाता है, लेकिन हमारे पास अगले 5 वर्षों में यूरोपीय मानकों के आधार पर दिल्ली की सबसे बड़ी सड़कों के 500 किलोमीटर से अधिक के नवीनीकरण और उन्नयन की महत्वाकांक्षी योजना है। 
दिल्ली सरकार 150 एकड़ भूमि में रानी खेड़ा में एक हाईटेक बिजनेस पार्क भी बना रही है। यह दिल्ली इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट से महज 15 मिनट की दूरी पर होगा। यह अपनी तरह का पहला केंद्र है और इसमें आईटी और सेवा उद्योग होंगे। पार्क में ग्रीन बिल्डिंग, हर फ्लोर पर बड़े साइज के वर्कस्पेस, मल्टीपर्पज बिजनेस की सुविधाएं और पैदल यात्री प्लाजा होंगे। इसमें रिटेल, फूड एंड बेवरेज (एफएंडबी) सभी तरह की सुविधाएं होंगी। दिल्ली सरकार सात अलग-अलग चरणों में अपनी तरह के इस पहले बिजनेस पार्क को विकसित करेगी। पहले चरण का काम 31 अगस्त 2022 तक पूरा हो जाएगा। पहले चरण में 15 लाख वर्ग फुट की बहुमंजिला इमारत बनाई जाएगी।हम समझते हैं कि स्टार्ट-अप्स को अनूठी चुनौतियों का सामना करना पड़ता है और इसलिए दिल्ली सरकार स्टार्ट-अप नीति को शुरू करने के बहुत उन्नत चरण में है। इससे दिल्ली में स्टार्ट-अप्स को प्रोत्साहित करने और सुविधाजनक बनाने के लिए कई प्रावधान किए जाएंगे। यह नीति टीआईई दिल्ली और कई प्रमुख उद्यमियों के साथ व्यापक विचार-विमर्श के बाद विकसित की जा रही है। इसलिए हमें उम्मीद है कि यह स्टार्ट-अप्स के लिए एक बड़ा बढ़ावा होगा।उदाहरण के तौर पर, स्टार्टअप्स को विकसित करने में मदद करने के लिए हम इनक्यूबेटर, सह-कार्यशील स्थानों और निर्माण प्रयोग शालाओं के साथ नेटवर्क की एक श्रृंखला बनाएंगे। ये नेटवर्क बाजार में मौजूदा हितधारकों के प्रावधानों का लाभ उठाएंगे। स्टार्ट-अप नीति के हिस्से के रूप में, हम प्राथमिकता वाले क्षेत्रों में स्टार्ट-अप के लिए जमानत मुक्त ऋण प्रदान करने की योजना बना रहे हैं। हम उन विशेषज्ञों तक भी आसान पहुंच प्रदान करेंगे, जो लेखांकन, कराधान, पंजीकरण, कानूनी सहायता, डिजिटल विपणन और ऐसी अन्य सेवाओं के साथ स्टार्ट-अप्स की सहायता कर सकते हैं।
इसके अलावा, दिल्ली सरकार अपनी सार्वजनिक खरीद को इस तरह से संरेखित करेगी कि हमारे सभी सामानों और सेवाओं का एक निश्चित प्रतिशत मान्यता प्राप्त स्टार्ट-अप के माध्यम से प्राप्त किया जा सके।इसके अतिरिक्त, स्टार्ट-अप से संबंधित सभी प्रश्नों का उत्तर देने और शिकायतों का समाधान करने के लिए एक समर्पित हेल्पलाइन स्थापित की जाएगी। व्यक्ति और स्टार्टअप दिल्ली की सरकार की सेवा डॉयल 1076 का उपयोग करके, सीए या वकील को कॉल कर सकेंगे, ताकि उन्हें अपने घर या कार्यालय से किसी कंपनी को शामिल करने में मदद मिल सके। इसके अलावा, हम सुधारों को भी शुरू करेंगे, ताकि स्टार्ट-अप्स को सरकारी विभागों के साथ सभी बातचीत के लिए एक एकल खिड़की हो और उनके पास भारत और दुनिया भर के निवेशकों के लिए हैकथॉन और स्टार्ट-अप चुनौतियों के माध्यम से अपने नवाचारों (इनोवेशन) को प्रदर्शित करने का अवसर मिले। हम समझते हैं कि मानव पूंजी के बिना कोई भी व्यवसाय जीवित नहीं रह सकता है। वास्तव में, 21वीं सदी में प्रतिस्पर्धा करने वाले स्टार्ट-अप्स के लिए गुणवत्तापूर्ण मानव संसाधन सबसे मूल्यवान संपत्ति हैं। दिल्ली सरकार ने स्टार्ट-अप्स को दिल्ली में ही सबसे अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाली मानव पूंजी तक पहुंच सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अभूतपूर्व छोटे और दीर्घकालिक कदम उठाए हैं।
इसमें एक सफल कदम उद्यमिता मानसिकता पाठ्यक्रम (एंटरप्रिन्योरशिप माइंडसेट करिकुलम) की शुरुआत है। दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा जुलाई 2019 में पायलट प्रोजेक्ट के रूप में शुरू किया गया उद्यमिता मानसिकता पाठ्यक्रम (ईएमसी) का उद्देश्य छात्रों के बीच एक नवाचार मानसिकता (इनोवेशन माइंडसेट) पैदा करना था। यह विचार उन्हें देश में भविष्य के ‘नौकरी-प्रदाता’ बनाते हुए अपने विचारों को अगले चरण में ले जाने में सक्षम बनाने के लिए था। ईएमसी के तहत, प्रत्येक दिन, 1,024 दिल्ली सरकार के स्कूलों में कक्षा 9 से 12वीं तक के बच्चे 40 मिनट खर्च करते हैं, जैसे आत्मविश्वास के साथ बोलना, समस्या को हल करना, और यह समझना कि व्यवसाय कैसे काम करते हैं। छात्रों को प्रत्येक को 1,000 रुपए ‘सीड मनी’ के रूप में दिया जाता है, ताकि वे अपने विचारों को विकसित कर सकें और यदि उनके विचार पैसे कमाने वाले व्यवसाय में बढ़ते हैं, तो इसे बनाए रखेंगे। ईएमसी में 18,000 से अधिक शिक्षकों को प्रशिक्षित करके इस कार्यक्रम को तेजी से बढ़ावा मिला है। 14 हजार छात्रों ने कक्षाओं में दाखिला लिया है। विभाग ईएमसी पर छात्रों के साथ कक्षा की बातचीत के लिए करीब 17,000 उद्यमियों को शामिल करने की प्रक्रिया में है। पिछले साल 4,000 उद्यमियों ने 3,10,309 छात्रों से बातचीत की थी और उद्यमी के रूप में अपनी यात्रा पर चर्चा की थी।मानव संसाधनों की सर्वोत्तम गुणवत्ता सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में हमने जो एक और कदम उठाया है, वह दिल्ली कौशल और उद्यमिता विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना है। इस विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना का उद्देश्य छात्रों को आगे बढ़ाने और देश के भविष्य-उद्यमियों को तैयार करके देश में मौजूदा अंतर को दुरूस्त करना है। इसमें कम से कम 125,000 छात्रों के नामांकन की क्षमता होगी, जिसमें अल्पकालिक, दीर्घकालिक, डिप्लोमा, डिग्री, और पीएच.डी. पाठ्यक्रम शामिल होंगे।

Transport Minister of Delhi, Shri Kailash Gahlot today inaugurated the ‘Online Digital Delivery of DTC bus e-Pass facility’ for commuters of all DTC and Cluster buses in Delhi. Commissioner of Transport Ms. Manisha Saxena, Shri Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, MD, Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and other senior officers of the Corporation were also present on this occasion. 

The ‘Online Digital Delivery of DTC bus e-Pass facility’ is a 24×7 operational service system that supports cashless transaction for the issuance of all types of bus passes in DTC and Cluster buses. The user-friendly interface of this Online System ensures hassle-free transaction thus saving the time and energy of the customers. On the Operational front, this can be crucial in reducing the infrastructure cost and saving the manpower of DTC. 

The commuters of DTC can use the facility to obtain all General and Concessional passes for both AC & Non AC buses. Passengers can avail passes for BPL/ APL, Differently abled citizens, senior citizens, student passes, other special categories such as freedom fighters, war widows, sportsmen, press etc. among others.             
For obtaining an online bus pass, the applicant can apply at URL: www.dtcpass.delhi.gov.in from anywhere. The applicant shall have to fill-up his credentials like Name, Father’s Name, and Date of Birth etc. and upload the photo on the portal. Payment can be made through Debit/Credit Card/ Net Banking and BHIM UPI. The General Bus Pass will be available for download immediately after submitting the application and Concessional Pass will be delivered within the next working day, at the registered Mobile number and email id of the applicant, after verification. SMS and email will be sent to the applicant for confirmation of payment and dispatch detail etc.  For the cancellation of DTC bus pass, an applicant will have to return the original bus pass at any of the DTC Pass Section. The refund amount will be credited directly to the applicant’s bank account.

On this occasion, the Transport Minister, along with applying for a bus pass, said “As a first hand user of this service today, I can assure the citizens of Delhi that this is the next huge step in the smart, cashless and contactless transport revolution Delhi is currently undergoing, under the leadership of our Hon’ble CM. With the implementation of this online bus e-Pass facility, regular commuters can now avail of a pass without standing in long queues at depots, which is of great significance at the time of a pandemic like this.”*****

दिल्ली के परिवहन मंत्री, श्री कैलाश गहलोत ने आज दिल्ली में सभी डीटीसी और क्लस्टर बसों के यात्रियों के लिए ‘ऑनलाइन डीटीसी बस पास की डिजिटल डिलीवरी सुविधा’  का उद्घाटन किया। इस अवसर पर परिवहन आयुक्त सुश्री मनीषा सक्सेना, दिल्ली परिवहन निगम (डीटीसी) के एमडी श्री विजय कुमार बिधूड़ी और निगम के अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी भी उपस्थित थे।
‘ऑनलाइन डीटीसी बस पास की डिजिटल डिलीवरी सुविधा’ एक 24×7 परिचालित सेवा प्रणाली है जिसका इस्तेमाल डीटीसी और क्लस्टर बसों में सभी प्रकार के बस पास जारी करने के लिए किया जा सकता है। इस ऑनलाइन सुविधा के अंतर्गत भुगतान सभी डिजिटल माध्यमों से किया जा सकता है। ऑनलाइन बस पास हेतु इस सुविधा का इंटरफ़ेस काफी यूजर-फ्रेंडली है जिससे उपयोगकर्ताओं को बिना किसी व्यवधान के सरल प्रक्रिया द्वारा सभी प्रकार के बस पास उपलब्ध हो जातें हैं। इससे ग्राहकों के समय और ऊर्जा दोनों की बचत होती है। वहीं ऑपरेशनल मोर्चे पर, इस ऑनलाइन सुविधा द्वारा डीटीसी की इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर कॉस्ट एवं श्रमशक्ति  पर पड़ने वाले बोझ को भी कम किया जा सकेगा।
डीटीसी के यात्री इस सुविधा का इस्तेमाल एसी और नॉन एसी बसों के लिए सभी सामान्य और रियायती पास प्राप्त करने के लिए कर सकते हैं। यात्री सभी प्रकार के पास जैसे बीपीएल / एपीएल वर्ग अंतर्गत  पास , विकलांग नागरिक, वरिष्ठ नागरिक, छात्र पास, अन्य विशेष श्रेणियां जैसे स्वतंत्रता सेनानी, युद्ध विधवा, खिलाड़ी, प्रेस आदि पास प्राप्त कर सकतें हैं।
ऑनलाइन बस पास प्राप्त करने के लिए आवेदक URL: www.dtcpass.delhi.gov.in पर कहीं से भी आवेदन कर सकतें हैं।आवेदक को अपने क्रेडेंशियल्स जैसे नाम, पिता का नाम, और जन्म तिथि आदि को भरना होगा और पोर्टल पर फोटो अपलोड करना होगा। भुगतान डिजिटल माध्यमों जैसे  डेबिट / क्रेडिट कार्ड / नेट बैंकिंग और BHIM UPI के माध्यम से किया जा सकता है। सामान्य बस पास आवेदन जमा करने के तुरंत बाद डाउनलोड के लिए उपलब्ध होगा वहीं रियायती पास सत्यापन के बाद आवेदक के पंजीकृत मोबाइल नंबर और ईमेल आईडी पर अगले कार्य दिवस के भीतर भेज दिया जाएगा। भुगतान और डिस्पैच डिटेल्स आदि की पुष्टि के लिए आवेदक को एसएमएस और ईमेल भेजा जाएगा। डीटीसी बस पास को रद्द करने के लिए, आवेदक को मूल बस पास डीटीसी के किसी भी पास सेक्शन में  वापस करना होगा। रिफंड राशि सीधे आवेदक के बैंक खाते में चली जाएगी।

इस अवसर पर परिवहन मंत्री ने खुद भी बस पास के लिए आवेदन किया।  उन्होंने कहा ” आज इस सेवा का उपयोग करने के बाद मैं दिल्ली के नागरिकों को आश्वस्त कर सकता हूं कि माननीय मुख्यमंत्री के नेतृत्व में दिल्ली में चल रहे  स्मार्ट, कैशलेस और संपर्क रहित परिवहन क्रांति की दिशा में यह अगला बड़ा कदम है। इस ऑनलाइन बस ई-पास सुविधा के लागू होने से यात्री अब डिपो में लंबी कतारों में खड़े हुए बिना पास का लाभ उठा सकते हैं, जो इस तरह की महामारी के समय बहुत महत्वपूर्ण  है।“*****

Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Shri Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said that he wanted to spend time on the border with the farmers today, not as a CM, but as a sewadar. He wanted to show his support to them by sitting with them for half an hour, but he wasn’t allowed to go. He said that the call for Bharat Bandh by the farmers was highly successful. People from across the nation supported the bandh. He congratulated the farmers for the success of the movement. He wanted to show my support to the farmers by being with them today on the border as a sewadar, but even though he wasn’t allowed to go, he was praying from his home for the movement to be successful. He said that the Centre has been trying to stop him from going out since the last two days, because they did not want him to go amongst the farmers and support them. He said that the Centre is upset with him for deciding to support the farmers, by denying to convert stadiums into jails and making arrangements on the border for the convenience of the farmers. He said that a country where it’s farmers are unhappy can never progress, “we have to rise above politics and serve the farmers and serve the farmers till their movement continues,” he added.
After struggling for the entire day to meet AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, the cabinet ministers and AAP volunteers were allowed to meet him late evening today. During the meeting, Shri Arvind Kejriwal addressed the party leaders, volunteers and the media and said, “The call for Bharat Bandh by the farmers was highly successful. People from across the nation supported the bandh in their own way. The AAP volunteers and the people of Delhi also supported the movement, and I want to congratulate the farmers and the people of the country for this. I am happy the entire nation collectively came in support of the movement of the farmers, it represented unity. I wanted to spend some time on the border with the farmers today, not as a CM, but as a sewadar. I wanted to show my support to them by sitting with them for half an hour or so. I think they got to know about my plan, and so they did not let me know. But even though I could not go, I was praying from my home for the movement of the nation to be successful. 
CM Shri Kejriwal said, “A few days back, we had received a proposal of the central government. First of all, they tried to stop the farmers in every city of Haryana when the farmers were moving towards Delhi. They used water cannons and tear gas shells on the farmers and set up barricades to stop them, but our farmers defied all the hurdles and reached Delhi. The Centre then decided to let the farmers enter Delhi, and they asked the Delhi government for permission to convert 9 stadiums in Delhi into jails. I suddenly couldn’t help but recall Anna Andolan, and how we were put in these big stadiums which were converted into jails. They put us in jails and tried to weaken the movement. In the same way, I knew that they would put the farmers into jails to weaken their movement. There was a lot of pressure on us, we received calls from various sources. But we decided to stand in support of the farmers, which I think helped the farmer’s movement. Since that time, the Central government is angry at us for not converting the stadiums into jails.” 
“Our farmers are sitting on the borders, and I know that our MLAs, ministers, volunteers, etc, are serving the farmers everyday. We have told all the people to neither wear AAP caps or stalls, nor take the name of AAP, but to go there as an Indian and as a citizen of the country to serve the farmers. Our farmers spend their lives in our service, it is the first time that you have got an opportunity to serve the farmers. I know that some of you people distribute fruits and food, some of you have taken the responsibility of toilets and some have then the responsibility of water,” he added.
CM Shri Kejriwal said, “Yesterday morning, even I went there as a sewadar and not as a CM, to see if they need something. The Centre was upset because of that as well, because first, we did not allow the Centre to convert the stadiums into jails and second, we are making arrangements there  for the convenience of the farmers. I salute the farmers for sleeping on the roads at night in such harsh winters, we are doing whatever we can to help them. Because of this, the Centre has been trying to stop me from going out since the last two days, because they did not want me to go amongst the farmers and support them. But I prayed from home for the success of the movement and the movement was successful. I have got to know that there is a meeting today at 7 PM, and I hope that the Centre accepts all the demands of the farmers. They say the laws that they have passed are in the interest of the farmers. If they are, the farmers should agree that these laws are in their interest. Instead of that, they are demanding the laws to be repealed. The Centre should repeal the laws without any argument. I hope that the Centre will accept the demands of the farmers as soon as possible, pass a law on guaranteed MSP so that our farmers do not have to hold sit-in protests in these harsh weather conditions anymore.”
“A country where the farmers and the soldiers are sad, that country can never progress. If the farmers of our country are sad, we can never be at peace. We have to keep politics aside and help the farmers, and serve them and stand by them till their movement continues,” added the CM.****

आम आदमी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक और दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि मैं मुख्यमंत्री बन कर नहीं, बल्कि एक आम आदमी बन कर सिंघु बाॅर्डर पर जाकर आधा-पौना घंटा किसानों के साथ बैठ कर वापस आना चाहता था, लेकिन मुझे जाने नहीं दिया गया। केंद्र सरकार ने दिल्ली के 9 स्टेडियम को जेल बनाने की अनुमति मांगी थी और दबाव भी बनाया था, लेकिन मैने इन्कार कर दिया था। हमें पता था कि अगर हमने स्टेडियम को जेल बनाने की अनुमति दे दी, तो वे किसानों को जेल में डाल देंगे और किसानों का आंदोलन कमजोर हो जाएगा। स्टेडियम को जेल बनाने की अनुमति नहीं देने से किसानों के आंदोलन को काफी मदद मिली है और तभी से केंद्र सरकार बहुत ज्यादा नाराज है। वे नहीं चाहते थे कि मैं किसी भी तरह से बाहर जाउं और किसानों के बीच जाकर उनका समर्थन करूं। मुझे उम्मीद है कि केंद्र सरकार जल्द से जल्द किसानों की सारी मांगे मानेगी और एमएसपी पर कानून बनाएगी, ताकि हमारे किसानों को कड़ाके की ठंड में और ज्यादा नहीं बैठना पड़े। आम आदमी पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं को राजनीति से उपर उठ कर किसानों की मदद करनी है और बिल्कुल सेवा भाव से जब तक किसान बैठे हैं, तब तक उनकी सेवा करनी है।
आम आदमी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक और दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल से पूरे दिन की मशक्कत के बाद देर शाम पार्टी के नेता मिले। इस दौरान अरविंद केजरीवाल ने पार्टी के नेताओं और वालेंटियर्स को संबोधित किया। मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि मुझे बेहद खुशी है कि सारा देश एक साथ किसानों की इन मांगों के समर्थन में एकजुट हो गया है। एक तरफ से एकता आ गई है। आज मेरा भी मन था और मैंने भी योजना बना रखी थी कि आज मैं थोड़ी देर के लिए मुख्यमंत्री बन कर नहीं, बल्कि एक आम आदमी बनकर के बॉर्डर पर जाऊंगा और आधा-पौना घंटा अपना उनको समर्थन देने के लिए और एकजुटता जाहिर करने के लिए एक आम आदमी की तरह उनके साथ बैठूंगा और वापस आ जाऊंगा। मुझे लगता है कि उनको शायद मेरी योजना पता चल गई थी। इसलिए आज उन्होंने मुझे जाने तो नहीं दिया, लेकिन कोई बात नहीं, मैं अपने घर पर बैठ कर ही भगवान से प्रार्थना कर रहा था कि यह आंदोलन देश का आंदोलन है और यह सफल हो। 
सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि कुछ दिन पहले हमारे पास केंद्र सरकार का प्रस्ताव आया था। जब देश भर से किसान दिल्ली की तरफ कूच कर रहे थे, तो पहले इन्होंने हरियाणा के एक-एक शहर में किसानों को रोकने की कोशिश की। इसके लिए बैरिकेट आदि लगाए, पानी की बौछारें कीं और आंसू गैस के गोले छोड़े, लेकिन हमारे किसान भाई सारी अड़चनोंको पार करके दिल्ली पहुंच गए। इन्होंने फिर योजना बनाई कि किसानों को दिल्ली में आने देंगे और इन्होंने दिल्ली में 9 स्टेडियमों को जेल में परिवर्तित करने की अनुमति मांगी। 
सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि उस दौरान मुझे अन्ना आंदोलन याद आ गया। हमें याद है कि उस समय भी इन लोगों ने बड़े-बड़े स्टेडियमों को जेल बनाया था। हम उसी जेल में रुके हुए थे। जेल में डाल देते थे और आंदोलन को कमजोर कर देते थे। एक-दो दिन में आदमी चला जाता था। मुझे पता था कि अगर आज हमने केंद्र सरकार को स्टेडियमों को जेल बनाने की इजाजत दे दी और अगर इन्होंने सारे किसानों को स्टेडियमों की जेल में बंद कर दिया, तो हमारे किसानों का आंदोलन कमजोर पड़ जाएगा। हमारे ऊपर खूब तरह-तरह का दबाव आए, कई फोन आए, लेकिन हमने ठान ली थी कि हम किसानों के साथ हैं। हमने इनको अनुमति नहीं दी। मैं समझता हूं कि उससे आंदोलन को काफी मदद मिली है। तभी से केंद्र सरकार बहुत ज्यादा नाराज है कि इन्होंने स्टेडियमों को जेल बनाने की अनुमति क्यों नहीं दी? उसके बाद से सिंघु बॉर्डर पर हमारे किसान बैठे हैं।
सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि मैं आप सब लोगों को बधाई देना चाहता हूं। मैं जानता हूं कि आप में से कई लोग एमएलए, मंत्री और कार्यकर्ता हैं। आप लोग और दिल्ली की जनता रोज जाकर किसानों की सेवादार की तरह सेवा कर रहे हैं। हमने सब लोगों को हिदायत दे रखी है कि कोई टोपी, पट्टा पहनकर नहीं जाएगा और कोई वहां आम आदमी पार्टी का नाम नहीं लेगा। सभी लोग देशभक्त, भारतीय बनकर वहां जाएंगे और अपने किसानों की जाकर सेवा करेंगे। हमारे किसान पूरी जिंदगी रात-दिन, 24 घंटे, खून-पसीना बहाकर हमारी सेवा करते हैं। पहली बार आपको इनकी सेवा करने का मौका मिला है। मैं जानता हूं कि आप में से कई लोग फल, खाना लेकर जाते हैं। कुछ लोगों ने वहां पर शौचालय, पानी की जिम्मेदारी ले रखी है और अलग-अलग तरह से सेवा कर रहे हैं।
सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि मैं भी कल सुबह सेवादार बनकर गया था। मैंने कहा था कि मैं आपका मुख्यमंत्री बनकर नहीं आया हूं। मैं आप का सेवादार बन कर देखने आया हूं कि किसी चीज की कमी तो नहीं है। इससे भी केंद्र सरकार बड़ी नाराज हुई कि एक तो वो स्टेडियमों को जेल बनाने की अनुमति लेने के लिए आए और उनको हमने अनुमति नहीं दी थी। दूसरा, उनकी सहूलियतों का ख्याल रख कर सुविधाएं दे रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि हम जितनी भी सहूलियत दे दें, लेकिन रात में इतनी कड़कड़ाती ठंड में सड़क पर आसमान के नीचे सोना कोई छोटा काम नहीं है। उसके लिए किसानों को मैं सलाम करता हूं। फिर भी हमसे जो भी बन पड़ रहा है, हम वो सब कर रहे हैं। इसके कारण भी केंद्र सरकार बहुत नाराज है। अब 2 दिन इन लोगों ने कोशिश की कि किसी भी तरह से मैं बाहर ना निकल पाऊं। क्योंकि अगर आज यह लोग रोकते नहीं, तो शायद थोड़ी देर के लिए मैं वहां जाता। वह नहीं चाहते थे कि मैं उनके बीच में जाऊं और उनके साथ बैठकर समर्थन करूं। लेकिन कोई बात नहीं, मैंने यहां बैठकर ही प्रभू से प्रार्थना की थी कि आंदोलन सफल रहे। आंदोलन बहुत अच्छा रहा हैं। 
सीएम अरंिवद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि मैंने सुना है कि आज शाम 7 बजे और कल भी बैठक है। मैं उम्मीद करता हूं कि केंद्र सरकार किसानों की जो भी मांगे हैं, उन सारी मांगों को मानेगी। केंद्र सरकार कह रही है कि जो भी कानून पास किया है, वो किसानों के हित में है, लेकिन किसान बता रहे हैं कि बिल उनके हित में नहीं है। अगर किसान कह रहे हैं कि बिल हमारे हित में नहीं है, इसे वापस ले लो। इनके साथ फिर बहस बाजी किस बात की है। मैं उम्मीद करता हूं कि केंद्र सरकार जल्द से जल्द किसानों की सारी बातें मानेगी। एमएसपी पर कानून बनाएगी, ताकि हमारे किसानों को और ज्यादा दिन कड़कड़ाती ठंड में ना बैठना पड़े। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आप सब लोगों से भी यही निवेदन है कि जब तक किसान बैठे हैं, तब तक उनकी सेवा करें। जिस देश का किसान और जिस देश का जवान दुखी है, वह देश कभी आगे नहीं बढ़ सकता। जब तक हमारे देश का किसान दुखी है, तब तक हम लोगों को भी चैन से नहीं बैठना है। हमें उनकी राजनीति से ऊपर उठकर पूरी मदद करनी है। हमें कोई राजनीति नहीं करनी है और जब तक किसान बैठे हैं, तब तक सेवाभाव से आप लोगों को उनकी सेवा करनी है। उनके साथ मिलकर उनका साथ देना है।******

Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal on Monday visited the Singhu border along with Dy CM Shri Manish Sisodia, Shri Satyendar Jain, Shri Rajendra Pal Gautam, Shri Imran Hussain to inspect the arrangements made in the area for the farmers protesting against the three anti-farmer laws of the central government. He said that setting up of toilets, proper sanitation and availability of water have been ensured on the protest site and the farmers are satisfied with the arrangements made. He also said that he is not visiting the area as the Delhi CM, but as a ‘sewadar’ of the farmers. Reiterating his support for the farmers’ call for ‘Bharat Bandh’ tomorrow, he appealed to the people of the country to peacefully participate in the bandh tomorrow. He said that the Central government had a full proof plan to put the farmers into jails located in the stadiums to bring an end to their movement. ‘But we listened to our conscience and refused to convert stadiums into jails,” said the CM. 
CM Arvind Kejriwal said, “Our cabinet ministers, MLAs, volunteers, and I, everybody is serving the farmers. I am not present here as a Chief Minister, I have come here as a sewadar, I have come here to serve the farmers. The farmers put in all their hard work and efforts and grow food for us. They are in a huge problem today, and it is the responsibility of all the citizens of the country to stand with the farmers and work for their service.” 
“I have come here today to inspect all the arrangements in the area. I have seen that the toilets have been set up and sanitation has also been ensured. The water will be diverted inside with the help of water pipes and motors. I have seen the living and food arrangements,” he added. 
CM Arvind Kejriwal said that the farmers are satisfied with all the arrangements made for them. “Our MLA Jarnail Singh ji was here last night in support of the farmers. Our MLAs, ministers, officers are serving the farmers. I hope the issue is resolved as soon as possible,” said the CM.
CM Arvind Kejriwal said, “AAP is supporting the farmers’ call for ‘Bharat Bandh’ for tomorrow, i.e., December 8. All our volunteers from across the country will participate in the bandh tomorrow. I appeal to the people from across the nation to participate in the Bandh peacefully.”
“The news of the changing of four mandis in Delhi is a rumour. There was a lot of pressure on us to convert the stadiums into jails. The Central government had full proof plan to put these farmers into jails located in the stadiums to end the movement. But we listened to our conscience. Sometimes, you are less worried about the results of actions, and you listen to your conscience more to know what’s right,” added the CM.

आम आदमी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक एवं दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल आज सुबह केंद्र सरकार के तीनों कृषि कानूनों के खिलाफ सिंधु बाॅर्डर पर धरने पर बैठे किसानों के बीच पहुंचे। मुख्यमंत्री के साथ उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया, कैबिनेट मंत्री सतेंद्र जैन, राजेंद्र पाल गौतम और इमरान हुसैन भी सिंधु बाॅर्डर पर पहुंचे और किसानों का समर्थन करते हुए उनका हौसला बढ़ाया। मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने सिंधु बाॅर्डर पर स्थित गुरु तेग बहादुर मेमोरियल में किसानों से मुलाकात की और उनके लिए की गई व्यवस्थाओं का जायजा लिया। सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि मैं यहां पर एक मुख्यमंत्री के तौर पर नहीं आया हूं, बल्कि यहां एक सेवादार के तौर पर आया हूं। हम सभी किसानों की सेवा में उनके साथ खड़े हैं। मैं आज यहां पर दौरा कर सभी जरूरी सुविधाओं का जायजा लेने के लिए आया हूं।
मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने सिंधु बाॅर्डर पर किसानों से मुलाकात के बाद मीडिया से कहा कि हमारी सरकार, हमारे मंत्रीगण, हमारे विधायक, मेरी पार्टी के सभी कार्यकर्ता और मैं खुद सेवादार की तरह किसानों की सेवा करने में लगे हुए हैं। आज भी मैं यहां पर मुख्यमंत्री के तौर पर नहीं आया हूं। मैं यहां पर एक सेवादार के तौर पर आया हूं। यहां पर मैं किसानों की सेवा करने के लिए आया हुआ हूं। किसान 24 घंटे मेहनत करके, अपना खून-पसीना बहा करके हमारे के लिए हमारी सेवा कर रहे हैं। आज किसान मुसीबत में हैं। हम सबका और पूरे देशवासियों को फर्ज है कि किसानों के साथ खड़े हों और उनकी सेवा करें। मैं यहां पर आज दौरा करके सभी जरूरी सुविधाओं का जायजा लेने के लिए आया हूं। 
सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि किसानों के लिए यहां पर शौचालय की व्यवस्था की गई है। इसकी साफ-सफाई ठीक है। दूसरी तरफ, पानी की व्यवस्था की गई है। किसान बता रहे हैं कि अंदर तक पानी नहीं जा पा रहा है, तो आज मोटर और पाइप लगा कर पानी को अंदर तक लेकर जाएंगे। धरनारत किसानों के रहने की व्यवस्था भी देखी है, जो सही है। साथ ही किचन आदि की व्यवस्था भी ठीक है। दिल्ली की आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार के इंतजामों से किसान पूरी तरह से संतुष्ट हैं। मैं किसानों के लगातार संपर्क में हूं। हमारे वरिष्ठ नेता एवं विधायक जरनैल सिंह यहां पर लगातार बने हुए हैं। किसानों के समर्थन में कल रात वे यहीं पर रहे और उनके साथ ही रात में सोए। हमारे सभी वालेंटियर्स, कार्यकर्ता और अधिकारी किसानों की सेवा में लगे हुए हैं। मैं उम्मीद करता हूं कि इस समस्या का जल्द से जल्द समाधान हो जाएगा। 
सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि किसानों ने 8 दिसंबर को पूरा भारत बंद करने का आह्वान किया है। आम आदमी पार्टी किसानों के इस आह्वान का पूरी तरह से समर्थन करती है। किसानों के भारत बंद में पूरे देश भर में आम आदमी पार्टी के सभी कार्यकर्ता भाग लेंगे। मैं उम्मीद करता हूं कि शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से पूरे देश के अंदर सब लोग इसमें शामिल होंगे। मैं पूरे देश के लोगों से अपील करता हूं कि वे किसानों के भारत बंद में सहयोग करें। मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार ने दिल्ली में अस्थाई जेल बनाने के लिए स्टेडियमों को मांगा था और मेरे उपर काफी दबाव भी बनाया गया था। केंद्र सरकार की पूरी योजना थी कि किसानों को यहां लाकर उन्हें स्टेडियम में डाल दिया जाएगा और इस तरह से किसानों का आंदोलन का खत्मा हो जाएगा, लेकिन हम लोगों ने अपनी अंतरात्मा की आवाज सुनी। कई बार ऐसा होता है कि आपको इसकी चिंता नहीं करनी होती है कि इसके परिणाम क्या निकलेंगे? आपको अपनी आत्मा की आवाज सुननी होती है।
