In the field of education, Delhi’s government schools are continuously achieving new heights. Now, the name of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Armed Forces Preparatory School has been added to these government schools. In the first batch of this school, 32 children passed the NDA written exam conducted by UPSC on their first attempt. On Saturday, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal met all these children and teachers at the camp office and congratulated them, calling this historic success unbelievable.
The Chief Minister said, “Last year, we opened this school. Here, children are prepared to join the armed forces. 32 children from this school have passed the NDA exam this year. Now, these children will become officers. “
The CM told the children that they have got a chance to do something for the country. Now, you don’t have to be afraid of any difficulties; instead, you have to always be prepared for the country. During this interaction, the students thanked CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal and shared their experience that this success was possible due to the exceptional facilities in the school and hostel. The education system of the school and the amenities for living and dining in the hostel exceeded our expectations.
After meeting the children of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Armed Forces Preparatory School, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that for me, the achievement of these children is no less than a miracle. The Shaheed Bhagat Singh Armed Forces Preparatory School is completely new, and this is the first batch. Last year, on August 27, when I went to inaugurate the school, I was happy that we had created such a school. Whenever a new institute is established, success stories are rarely heard within a year or two. But our children have shown excellence in the very first year. All the children worked hard, and they should continue to do so. I think all the credit for this goes to the authorities, teachers, and trainers. When the children came to school, they were raw, and they moulded all the children into gems.
CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that to establish any institute, SOPs and curriculum need to be developed in every field. The UPSC course was taught, and separate trainers were brought in for that. The mock tests given by the children must have been designed. All the SOPs were prepared in such a short time, and they were all absolutely perfect, as the results show. Out of our 76 children, 32 passed. This is nothing less than magic. The authority deserves congratulations for this success. I have full confidence that all the children will do very well in the SSB exam as well. Your hard work over the past year has yielded results.
CM Arvind Kejriwal said that this school will give you an opportunity to serve the country in the armed forces. Some of you may see it as a career. NDA is a great career. There’s no doubt about it. But my appeal is that all of you should look at it differently from a career perspective. You all have a chance to do something for the country. Look at it from that perspective. Now that the hard work has begun, don’t be afraid of any difficulties. You have to be prepared to serve the country.
CM Arvind Kejriwal said that he doesn’t think children from Delhi used to go to NDA before. There was no institute for it, and there was no training program. But now, a system has been established in Delhi. Now, Delhi is also starting to send good officers to the country’s army.
CM Shri shared the clip from this interaction on the ‘X'(formerly Twitter). He tweeted, “Last year we opened a new school in which children are prepared to join the army. 32 children of that school have passed the NDA exam this year, these children will now become officers. Today I have invited all those children to my house for tea.”

Meanwhile, Education Minister Ms. Atishi congratulated the students of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Armed Forces Preparatory School who passed the NDA written exam and said that we are proud of all the students for this achievement. A year ago, when we started this school, we hoped that our children would do well and Delhi’s children would also join the Armed Forces. Our children have given such a fantastic result in just one year; we didn’t expect this. This is the result of everyone’s dedication and hard work. Armed Forces Preparatory School is a means through which we can serve our country. I think there can be no bigger dream for a youth than this.
The Education Minister continued, “It is often seen that children of this age are interested in clothes, iPhones, and motorbikes, but all of you have left all that and come to this school. Children of this age are on their phones from morning till night. It is a significant achievement in itself that all the children have thought about doing something for the country and are willing to work hard to achieve it. She said that the preparation for the SSB is even more crucial. In the NDA written exam conducted by UPSC, 400 out of 7500 students passed. We want all our 32 children to pass the SSB and go to the NDA. We will provide full support from our side. We hope that all of you will work twice as hard as you did in the past year. Today, we are seeing all of you in the AFPS uniform, but we want to see you in the Indian Armed Forces uniform.
Achievements of the Delhi government’s Armed Forces Preparatory School
32 students from Shaheed Bhagat Singh Armed Forces Preparatory School have passed the written NDA (National Defence Academy) examination conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). Among these 32 students, there are also 9 girls. A total of 76 students from this school appeared for the exam. This is the first batch of the Delhi government’s Armed Forces Preparatory School. CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated this school on August 27, 2022. In terms of the total number of students who passed this exam, the Delhi government’s Armed Forces Preparatory School is ranked 3rd at the national level, along with the selection of 32 students. Meanwhile, the Sainik School established in Ghorakhal, Uttarakhand, in 1966 is ranked 1st with the selection of 37 students, while Maharana Ranjit Singh AFPI in Mohali is ranked second with 36 students.
UPSC conducts the written examination for the National Defence Academy (NDA) twice a year (in September and April). Eligible students are invited to appear before the Service Selection Board (SSB) for the final selection. During this process, eligible students are assessed on 19 criteria within 5 days for the final selection.
CM Kejriwal Talks to Students about Preparation
During this time, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal also interacted with the students. The CM inquired about their choice. Several students mentioned that initially, they didn’t want to prepare for the exam, but the school environment was so conducive that they started their preparation and were successful. The students explained that this exam had 12 subjects, out of which 9 were external subjects. For this, they had to study these 9 subjects separately. The students told the CM that they used to study math and other subjects from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM for this exam. Additionally, they also attended special classes.

Student Aditi Gautam shared, “We joined the school a year ago. In the initial days, I didn’t feel comfortable in the hostel because it was the first time. But slowly, we became friends with each other. All the staff members have helped us a lot. In the evening, we receive UPSC classes in which we prepare for the written exam. We worked hard with all staff members throughout the year, and we were all very happy to see the results.”
Decided to join NDA after seeing the Armed Forces Preparatory School of the Kejriwal government – Princy
Student Princy said, “I wanted to appear for the NDA exam, but when I saw this school built by the Kejriwal government, I decided to join NDA. In the beginning, following the school schedule was a bit difficult, but it became easier for us over time. All teachers and staff members have helped us and encouraged us to progress.”

Student Himanshu explained that about 18,000 children had applied for the exam. For this, we were prepared with a complete plan, including the entire syllabus, tests, and the assistance of teachers. I would like to thank the Delhi government for opening this school. Himanshu shared that he is interested in boxing and if he gets the opportunity, he would like to perform well in it.
I learnt time management and discipline at AFPS
Student Shiv Prahlad Mishra shared, “I learned time management and discipline here. In the initial days of preparation, my test scores were quite poor, but after preparing with time management and discipline, my results improved significantly.”
Before coming to this school, I lacked self-confidence – Mohit
Student Mohit mentioned that before coming to this school, he lacked self-confidence and didn’t have much knowledge about the Armed Forces. However, when I got the opportunity to come here, my self-confidence increased significantly. The support of teachers and this course helped me pass this exam.
I come from a middle-class background, and I didn’t expect to have such facilities – Ashutosh
Student Ashutosh Kumar explained, “I come from a middle-class family, and today I stand here with so much self-confidence, and credit for that goes to this school. Because of my middle-class background, I never expected to have such facilities. Many of my friends who studied in military schools told me that hostels weren’t good, and the food wasn’t great. But things were completely different here. We all had a passion to do something for the country, and this school gave us direction. I want our school to represent our country.”

Student Ruhani Sharma shared, “I always wanted to experience hostel life. Coming here, I made many good friends, and teachers have helped us a lot on this journey, for which I want to thank the Delhi government. I hope that in the future, we can also have NCC training in our school.”

Student Kartik explained, “I have been preparing for NDA since 2020. During the time of COVID, I took admission to a government school, where I got inspired to do something for my country after reading about freedom fighters. I had heard bad things about hostels, but everything here is wonderful. The teachers and staff here have provided us with great support.”
AFPS is spread over 14 acres and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities
On December 20, 2021, in a meeting of the Delhi Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, it was decided to establish a special school in Delhi where children would be given training for recruitment in the armed forces like the NDA, Navy, Air Force, etc. In less than a year, the Delhi government established this school, and it was inaugurated by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on August 27, 2022.
This school is spread over 14 acres and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. It is part of the Delhi government’s School of Specialized Excellence and is recognized by the Delhi Board of School Education.
Residential facilities with free training in the school
This school is entirely free and residential. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The school develops the qualities required to be officers in children who are admitted to the school. Children are prepared for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other armed services. Specialized faculty, often retired Army or Air Force officers, are employed to provide training. Any child residing in Delhi can enroll in classes 9th and 11th.
Currently, there are a total of 237 students enrolled in classes 9th, 10th, and 12th in this school. In class 12, there are a total of 76 students, all of whom have taken the NDA examination, and out of these, 32 students have passed the written exam.

शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में लगातार नया मुकाम हासिल कर रहे दिल्ली के सरकारी स्कूलों में अब शहीद भगत सिंह आर्म्ड फोर्स प्रिपरेटरी स्कूल का नाम भी जुड़ गया है। इस स्कूल के पहले बैच के 32 बच्चों ने पहली बार में ही यूपीएससी द्वारा आयोजित एनडीए की लिखित परीक्षा पास कर ली है। शनिवार को सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कैंप ऑफिस में इन सभी बच्चों व शिक्षकों से मुलाकात कर उन्हें बधाई दी और पहली बार में ही मिली इस ऐतिहासिक सफलता को अविश्वसनीय बताया। सीएम ने कहा कि पिछले साल हमने यह स्कूल खोला था। यहां बच्चों को सेना में जाने के लिए तैयार किया जाता है। इस स्कूल के 32 बच्चों ने इस साल एनडीए की परीक्षा पास की है। अब ये बच्चे अफ़सर बनेंगे। सीएम ने बच्चों से कहा कि देश के लिए कुछ कर गुजरने का आप सभी को एक मौका मिला है। अब आपको किसी मुश्किल से घबराना नहीं है, बल्कि देश के लि हमेशा तैयार रहना है। इस दौरान बच्चों ने सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल को थैंक्स किया और कहा कि स्कूल और हॉस्टल में अद्वितीय सुविधाओं की वजह से ये सफलता मिल सकी है। स्कूल की शिक्षा व्यवस्था और हॉस्टल में रहने व खाने की सुविधाएं हमारी सोच से परे पाई गई।
शहीद भगत सिंह आर्म्ड फोर्स प्रिपरेटरी स्कूल के बच्चों से मिलने के बाद सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि मेरे लिए बच्चों की यह उपलब्धि किसी चमत्कार से कम नहीं है। क्योंकि शहीद भगत सिंह आर्म्ड फोर्स प्रिपरेटरी स्कूल बिल्कुल नया स्कूल है और यह पहला बैच है। पिछले साल 27 अगस्त को जब मैं स्कूल का उद्घाटन करने गया था, तब मुझे खुशी हुई कि हम लोगों ने ऐसा स्कूल बनाया। जब भी कोई नया इंस्टीट्यूट बनता है तो एक-दो साल के अंदर सफलता की कहानी सुनने को कम ही मिलती है। लेकिन हमारे बच्चों ने पहले ही साल में कमाल करके दिखा दिया है। सभी बच्चों की जबरदस्त तपस्या रही और रहनी भी चाहिए। मुझे लगता है कि इसका सारा श्रेय अथॉरिटी, शिक्षकों और प्रशिक्षकों को जानी चाहिए। जब बच्चे स्कूल में आए तो तब कच्चे थे और इन्होंने सभी बच्चों को गढ़कर हीरा बनाया है।
सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि किसी भी इंस्टीट्यूट को खड़ा करने के लिए हर क्षेत्र में एसओपी, करिकुलम बनाने पड़ते हैं। यूपीएससी का कोर्स पढ़ाया जाता था, उसके लिए अलग से ट्रेनर्स आते हैं। बच्चों के जो मॉक टेस्ट किए गए, उसे डिजाइन किया गया होगा। इतने कम समय के अंदर सारे एसओपी बनकर तैयार हो गए और वो सब बिल्कुल परफेक्ट था, क्योंकि उसका रिजल्ट सामने है। हमारे 76 में से 32 बच्चे पास हो गए। यह किसी जादू से कम नहीं है। इस सफलता के लिए अथॉरिटी बधाई के पात्र है। मुझे पूरी उम्मीद है कि एसएसबी की परीक्षा में भी सारे बच्चे बहुत अच्छा करेंगे। पिछले एक साल की आप सभी की तपस्या रही है और उसने परिणाम भी दिया है।
सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि यह स्कूल आपको आर्म्ड फोर्सेज में जाकर देश की सेवा करने का एक मौका देगा। हो सकता है कि इसमें कुछ बच्चे इसको करियर के रूप में देखेंगे। एनडीए बहुत अच्छा करियर है। इसमें कोई दो राय नहीं है। लेकिन मेरी अपील है कि सभी बच्चे इसे करियर से अलग करके देखें। आप सभी को देश के लिए कुछ कर गुजरने का यह एक मौका मिला है। इसको इसी नजरिए से देखिएगा। जब यह तपस्या शुरू हो ही गई है तो कोई भी मुश्किल आए, उससे घबराना नहीं है। देश के लिए कुछ भी कर गुजरने के लिए अब आपको तैयार रहना है।
सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि मुझे नहीं लगता है कि दिल्ली से एनडीए में पहले कभी बच्चे जाया करते थे। इसके लिए कोई इंस्टीट्यूट भी नहीं था और कोई ट्रेनिंग प्रोग्राम भी नहीं था। लेकिन अब दिल्ली में एक सिस्टम बन गया है। अब दिल्ली भी देश के फौज में अच्छे ऑफिसर भेजना शुरू कर रही है।
सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने ट्वीट कर कहा कि पिछले साल हमने एक नया स्कूल खोला था, जिसमें बच्चों को सेना में जाने के लिए तैयार किया जाता है। उस स्कूल के 32 बच्चों ने इस साल एनडीए की परीक्षा पास की है। ये बच्चे अब अफ़सर बनेंगे। आज उन सभी बच्चों को मैंने अपने घर चाय पर बुलाया है।

वहीं, शिक्षा मंत्री आतिशी ने एनडीए की लिखित परीक्षा पास करने वाले शहीद भगत सिंह आर्म्ड फोर्स प्रिपरेटरी स्कूल के छात्रों को बधाई दी और कहा कि छात्रों की इस सफलता पर हम सभी को गर्व है। एक साल पहले जब हमने इस स्कूल की शुरूआत की थी तब हमें इस बात की उम्मीद तो थी कि हमारे बच्चे भी अच्छा करेंगे और दिल्ली के बच्चे भी आर्म्ड फोर्सेज में जाएंगे। हमारे बच्चे एक साल में ही इतना शानदार रिजल्ट दे देंगे, हमें इतनी उम्मीद नहीं थी। यह सभी के लगन और मेहनत का परिणाम है। आर्म्ड फोर्स प्रिपरेटरी स्कूल एक माध्यम है, जिसके एक माध्यम है, जिससे हम देश की सेवा कर सकते हैं। मुझे लगता है कि किसी युवा का इससे बडा और कोई सपना नहीं हो सकता है।
शिक्षा मंत्री आतिशी ने कहा कि अक्सर देखा जाता है कि इस उम्र में बच्चों की रूचि कपड़ों, आईफोन और मोटर बाइक आदि में होता है, आप लोग ये सबकुछ छोड़कर इस स्कूल में आए। इस उम्र के बच्चे सुबह से रात तक फोन पर होते हैं। यह अपने आप में बहुत बड़ी चीज है कि सभी बच्चों ने फोकस तरीके से देश के लिए कुछ करने के लिए सोचा और उसको प्राप्त करने के लिए कठिन मेहनत करने के लिए तैयार हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि एसएसबी की तैयारी और भी ज्यादा जरूरी है। यूपीएससी द्वारा आयोजित एनडीए की लिखित परीक्षा में 7500 में 400 बच्चे उत्तीर्ण हुए हैं। हम चाहेंगे कि हमारे सभी 32 बच्चे एसएसबी उत्तीर्ण करके एनडीए में जाएं। हमारी तरफ से पूरा सहयोग रहेगा। हमें सभी बच्चों से उम्मीद है कि आपने पिछले एक साल में जितनी मेहनत की है, उससे दोगुनी मेहनत करेंगे। आज हम आप सभी को एएफपीएस के यूनिफार्म में देख रहे हैं, लेकिन हम आपको इंडियन आर्म फोर्सेज के यूनिफार्म में देखें।
*केजरीवाल सरकार के आर्म्ड फोर्स प्रिपरेटरी स्कूल की उपलब्धियां*
शहीद भगत सिंह आर्म्ड फोर्स प्रिपरेटरी स्कूल के 32 छात्रों ने यूपीएससी द्वारा आयोजित एनडीए की लिखित परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण की है। इन 32 छात्रों में 9 लड़कियां भी शामिल हैं। इस स्कूल से 76 विद्यार्थियों ने परीक्षा दी थी। यह दिल्ली सरकार के आर्म्ड फोर्स प्रिपरेटरी स्कूल का पहला बैच है। इस स्कूल का उद्घाटन 27 अगस्त 2022 को सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने किया था। इस परीक्षा में उत्तीर्ण होने वाले छात्रों की कुल संख्या के मामले में दिल्ली सरकार का आर्म्ड फोर्स प्रिपरेटरी स्कूल 32 छात्रों के चयन के साथ राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर तीसरे स्थान पर है। वहीं, 1966 में उत्तराखंड के घोड़ाखाल में स्थापित सैनिक स्कूल 37 छात्रों के चयन के साथ शीर्ष पर है, जबकि मोहाली में स्थित महाराणा रणजीत सिंह एएफपीआई 36 छात्रों के साथ दूसरे स्थान पर है।
यूपीएससी साल में दो बार (सितंबर और अप्रैल) राष्ट्रीय रक्षा अकादमी (एनडीए) के लिए लिखित परीक्षा आयोजित करता है। योग्य छात्रों को सेवा चयन बोर्ड (एसएसबी) के समक्ष उपस्थित होने के लिए आमंत्रित किया जाता है। इस दौरान योग्य छात्रों का अंतिम चयन के लिए 5 दिनों में 19 मापदंडों पर मूल्यांकन किया जाता है।
*सीएम केजरीवाल ने तैयारी को लेकर छात्रों से की बात*
इस दौरान सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने छात्रों से बात भी की। सीएम ने छात्रों से उनके चयन के बारे में जाना। कई छात्रों ने बताया कि पहले वे परीक्षा की तैयारी नहीं करना चाहते थे, लेकिन स्कूल में माहौल इतना अच्छा मिला कि उन्होंने तैयारी शुरू कर दी और सफल भी हो गए। छात्रों ने बताया कि इस परीक्षा में 12 विषय थे जिसमें से 9 बाहरी विषय थे। इसके लिए उन्हें अलग से ये 9 विषय पढ़ने पड़े। छात्रों ने सीएम को बताया कि इस परीक्षा की तैयारी के लिए शाम को तीन से पांच बजे तक मैथ और अन्य विषय पढ़ाए जाते थे। साथ ही उन्हें स्पेशल क्लास भी दी जाती थी।

छात्रा अदिति गौतम ने बताया कि एक साल पहले हमने स्कूल ज्वाइन किया था। शुरुआती दिनों में हॉस्टल में अच्छा नहीं लगा, क्योंकि यह पहली बार था। लेकिन धीरे-धीरे हम आपस में दोस्त बनन गए। सभी स्टाफ मेंमबर्स ने हमारी काफी मदद की। शाम के समय हमें यूपीएससी की क्लास दी जाती है, जिसमें हम लोग लिखित परीक्षा की तैयारी करते हैं। हमने पूरे साल सभी स्टाफ मेंबर्स के साथ कड़ी मेहनत की और रिजल्ट देखकर हम सभी काफी खुश हुए।
*केजरीवाल सरकार के आर्म्ड फोर्स प्रिपरेटरी स्कूल को देखकर एनडीए में जाने का फैसला किया- प्रिंसी*
छात्रा प्रिंसी ने बताया कि वो एनडीए की परीक्षा देना चाहती थीं लेकिन जब मैंने केजरीवाल सरकार द्वारा बनाए गए इस स्कूल को देखा, तब एनडीए ज्वाइन करने का मन बनाया। शुरुआती दिनों में स्कूल के सेड्यूल का पालन करना थोड़ा मुश्किल था लेकिन यह समय के साथ हमारे लिए आसान होता गया। सभी टीचर्स और स्टाफ सदस्यों ने काफी मदद की और आगे बढ़ने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया।
*आर्म्ड फोर्स प्रिपरेटरी स्कूल खोलने के लिए केजरीवाल सरकार का धन्यवाद- हिमांशु*
छात्र हिमांशु ने बताया कि करीब 18 हजार बच्चों ने इग्जाम के लिए आवेदन किया था। इसके लिए हमें पूरे प्लान के साथ तैयारी कराई गई, जिसमें सारा सिलेबस, टेस्ट के साथ हमें टीचर्स का सहयोग मिला। इस स्कूल को खोलने के लिए मैं दिल्ली सरकार का धन्यवाद करना चाहूंगा। हिमांशु मे बताया कि उन्हें बॉक्सिंग में दिलचस्पी है और अगर उन्हें मौका मिलता है तो वह उसमें भी अच्छा प्रदर्शन करना चाहेंगे।
*मुझे यहां टाइम मैनेजमेंट और अनुशासन सीखने को मिला- शिव प्रहलाद मिश्रा*
छात्र शिव प्रहलाद मिश्रा ने बताया कि मैंने यहां रहते हुए टाइम मैनेजमेंट और अनुशासन सीखा। तैयारी के शुरुआती टेस्ट में मेरे काफी खराब अंक आते थे, लेकिन टाइम मैनेजमेंट और अनुशासन के साथ तैयारी करने के बाद मेरे रिजल्ट में काफी सुधार हुआ।
*इस स्कूल में आने से पहले मेरे अंदर आत्मविश्वास की कमी थी- मोहित*
छात्र मोहित ने बताया कि इस स्कूल में आने से पहले मेरे अंदर आत्मविश्वास की काफी कमी थी। साथ ही आर्म्ड फोर्सेज के बारे में भी ज्यादा जानकारी नहीं थी। लेकिन जब यहां आने का मौका मिला तो मेरा आत्म विश्वास काफी बढ़ गया। टीचर्स के सहयोग और इस कोर्स के साथ इस परीक्षा को पास करने में मदद मिली।
*मैं मिडिल क्लास से हूं, मुझे इस तरह की सुविधाएं मिलने की उम्मीद नहीं थी- आशुतोष*
छात्र आशुतोष कुमार ने बताया कि मैं एक मिडिल क्लास परिवार से हूं। आज मैं सबके सामने इतने आत्मविश्वास के साथ खड़ा हूं तो इसका श्रेय इस स्कूल को जाता है। मीडिल क्लास से होने की वजह से मुझे कभी उम्मीद नहीं थी कि मुझे इस तरह की सुविधा मिल सकती है। मेरे कई दोस्त जो सैनिक स्कूलों में पढ़ चुके हैं, उन्होंने बताया था कि हॉस्टल अच्छा नहीं होता, खाना अच्छा नहीं होता है। लेकिन यहां आकर चीजे बिल्कुल अलग थीं। हम सबमें देश के लिए कुछ करने का जज्बा था और इस स्कूल ने हमें उसके लिए दिशा दी। मैं चाहता हूं कि हमारा स्कूल हमारे देश का प्रतिनिधित्व करे।
*टीचर्स ने इस सफर में हमारी काफी मदद की- रूहानी शर्मा*
छात्रा रूहानी शर्मा ने बताया कि मैं हमेशा से ही हॉस्टल लाइफ का अनुभव करना चाहती थी। यहां आकर मैंने कई अच्छे दोस्त बनाए और टीचर्स ने इस सफर में हमारी काफी मदद की, जिसके लिए मैं दिल्ली सरकार को धन्यवाद कहना चाहती हूं। मैं चाहती हूं कि हमारे स्कूल में आगे चलकर एनसीसी भी कराई जाए।
*मैंने हॉस्टल के बारे में काफी बुरा सुना था लेकिन यहां सबकुछ शानदार मिला- कार्तिक तिवारी*
छात्र कार्तिक ने बताया कि मैं 2020 से एनडीए की तैयारी कर रहा था। कोरोना के समय में मैंने एक सरकारी स्कूल में एडमिशन लिया, जहां फ्रीडम फाइटर्स के बारे पढ़ने के बाद मुझे अपने देश के लिए कुछ करने की प्रेरणा मिली। मैंने हॉस्टल के बारे में काफी बुरा सुना था लेकिन यहां सबकुछ शानदार है। यहां के टीचर्स और स्टाफ ने हमें काफी सपोर्ट दिया।
*आधुनिक सुविधाओं से लैस 14 एकड़ में फैला है ये स्कूल*
20 दिसंबर 2021 को सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल की अध्यक्षता में संपन्न दिल्ली कैबिनेट की बैठक में यह निर्णय लिया गया था कि दिल्ली में एक ऐसा विशेष स्कूल बनाया जाए, जहां पर बच्चों को फौज में भर्ती होने की ट्रेनिंग दी जाएगी, ताकि वो एनडीए, नेवी, एयरफोर्स जैसी सेना की सेवाओं में भर्ती हो सकें। एक साल से भी कम समय में दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा इस स्कूल को तैयार कर लिया गया और 27 अगस्त 2022 की सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने इसका उद्घाटन किया। यह स्कूल 14 एकड़ में फैला है जो सभी सुविधाओं से लैस मॉडर्न स्कूल है। यह स्कूल दिल्ली सरकार के स्कूल ऑफ स्पेशलाइज्ड एक्सीलेंस का हिस्सा और दिल्ली बोर्ड ऑफ स्कूल एजुकेशन से मान्यता प्राप्त है।
*आवासीय सुविधा के साथ स्कूल में मुफ्त ट्रेनिंग*
यह स्कूल पूरी तरह से निःशुल्क है और आवासीय है। लड़कों और लड़कियों का अलग-अलग हॉस्टल है। स्कूल में बच्चों अंदर फौज में ऑफिसर की जो क्वालिटी होती है, उस स्तर की क्वालिटी विकसित की जाती है। स्कूल में एनडीए समेत दूसरी आर्म्ड सर्विसेस के लिए बच्चों को तैयार किया जाता है। ट्रेनिंग देने के लिए विशेषज्ञ फैकल्टी खासकर सेवानिवृत्त आर्मी या एयरफोर्स ऑफिसर को रखा जाता है। दिल्ली में रहने वाला कोई भी बच्चा 9वीं और 11वीं कक्षा में दाखिला ले सकता है।
वर्तमान में इस स्कूल में कक्षा 9वीं, 10वीं व 12वीं में कुल 237 छात्र नामांकित हैं। कक्षा 12वीं में 76 बच्चे है जिनमे से सभी ने एनडीए की परीक्षा दी और इनमें से 32 बच्चों ने लिखित परीक्षा पास की है।
