The Delhi Government led by Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal has sent the ‘Red Light On Gaadi Off’ campaign file to the Delhi LG once again. After the LG’s initial refusal, the government has now sought approval based on global merits of the initiative. Divulging more details on the same, Environment Minister Shri Gopal Rai said, “In view of the increasing level of pollution in Delhi, LG should immediately approve the ‘Red Light On, Gaadi Off’ campaign. The LG had claimed that there was no evidence of the merits of this campaign, the Delhi Government has now sent a bunch of evidence to the LG. Such campaigns have been run in 40 cities of India; similar campaigns are also running in America and London. According to CRRI, only 20% of people turned their cars off at lights earlier, whereas 80% of people turned their cars off when this campaign was run.”

Environment Minister Shri Gopal Rai said, “With a change in weather of Delhi, there is a rise in pollution level. Along with a fall in the temperature after November 1st, the wind will blow at a speed of 4-8kmph. Keeping this in mind, Phase III of GRAP has been enforced in Delhi as per which, construction and demolition have been prohibited. Along with this, other measures, under the 15-point Winter Action Plan announced by CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal to keep pollution in check, are being implemented. We are spraying bio-decomposer to decompose stubble. We have also formed teams to tighten a noose on dust pollution.” 

He continued, “In the meanwhile, on October 29th, the Delhi L-G halted the ‘Red light on, Gaadi off’ campaign which we run every year to curb vehicle pollution. He returned the file to Delhi Government and his primary contention was that there are no figures to show that turning off vehicles on red light results in reduction of pollution in Delhi. There has been no such research experiment in any other city of the country or anywhere in the world. We decided that we will submit our answers to these questions to the L-G again.”

He added, “Today, the Delhi Government has resubmitted the file to L-G with answers to all his questions and requested him to give permission for this campaign, given the emergency situation in Delhi. We are making efforts on all the fronts to keep pollution in check. We want to do everything possible on our part. We have taken several measures to curb vehicle pollution, be it implementing E-Vehicle Policy effectively or intensifying the campaign to check PUC certificates of vehicles. Along with this, we want to run the ‘Red Light On, Gaadi Off’ campaign as well.”  

Shri Gopal Rai said, “When we conceptualised the ‘Red Light On, Gaadi Off’ campaign for the first time in 2020, it was done on the basis of several studies conducted across India. In 2019, scientists of the CSIR and Central Road Research Institute, which come under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, conducted a study on Petroleum Conservation. As per that study, if the vehicle engine is not shut on a red light at a particular four-way, there is an increase of pollution level by 9% on that four-way.” 

He continued, “Another study was conducted in Delhi on Bhikaji Cama four-way under PCRA. During the survey, it was found that merely 20% of the drivers turned-off their engine when no campaign was conducted. 80% of drivers did not shut down their engine. Then, volunteers were placed there with placards and banners. When a survey was conducted after this campaign, 62.33% of drivers turned-off their engine. Similar campaigns were run in London with a title ‘Engine off, Every Stop’ and on every transportational four-way in USA’s North Carolina. As per a study conducted under a campaign which was run in Salt Lake City of USA to observe those drivers who kept their engines on while waiting in front of schools or marketplace, 8 out of 10 drivers started turning their engines off after the campaign. Apart from this, HDFC Bank ran a similar campaign in 126 four-ways in various parts of India on June 5th, 2022 on the occasion of World Environment Day.”

He added, “There is a strong logic behind all these campaigns that an average commuter has to travel through 10-12 four-ways daily. If they keep their engines on for 2 minutes on an average on every four-way out of habit, we burn fuel for 25-30 minutes without any reason. We can contribute to reducing this vehicle pollution of 25-30 minutes by turning off the engine. ‘Red Light on, Gaadi off’ campaign is based on the research done on Bhikaji Cama four-way where we found that 2 out of 10 people turned off the engine on their own. But when a campaign is run on all the four-way and they see ‘Red Light on, Gaadi off’ all over their routes, it inculcates a habit of turning-off engines in the driver’s mind. In fact, they start raising awareness in others as well.” 

He concluded, “We ran this campaign for 2 years successfully but unfortunately, this campaign was halted. We have resent the file to L-G with all the data and we are optimistic that on the basis of this data and keeping Delhi’s emergency situation in mind,  the L-G should implement this campaign at the earliest. As per studies, Pollution emitted inside Delhi has a contribution of only 31% to Delhi’s total pollution and 69% of pollution comes from other areas of NCR. Now since the incident of stubble burning is on an increase, the pollution will increase further during winters. We are taking all the possible steps, be it sprinkling water on the road, controlling dust pollution or decomposing stubble. We have also taken other measures to reduce vehicle pollution. ‘Red Light on, Gaadi off’ campaign is also a significant step in this direction.”

*What is the Red Light On Gaadi Off campaign?*

The campaign seeks to deploy 2,500 civil defence volunteers to encourage people to turn off their vehicle engines at red lights at 100 busy intersections across the city, the move was touted to reduce vehicular pollution by 15-20% in the context.

The Delhi Government has now sent the file related to the campaign again to the LG with a bunch of data and evidence backing the effectiveness of the campaign.

*Major cities across the globe adopting campaigns like Red Light On Gaadi Off to reduce pollution*

Across the world, many cities have now realised the importance of making the public aware of switching off idling vehicles at traffic intersections and other idling spots. 

The city of London has launched a massive campaign titled “Engines Off, Every Stop” which is similar to the one proposed by the Delhi Government. The state of North Carolina in the United States of America has launched a “Turn Off Your Engine” program with an aim to distribute signs and materials to citizens at the traffic intersection. Yet another programme conducted in the past in Salt Lake City, United States of America indicates that when volunteers were engaged to contact drivers at the intervention site in Salt Lake City and make them aware of the importance of switching off engines when idling, 8 out of the 10 intervention sites experienced a decrease in particulate matter. 

*Data heavily backs the need and effectiveness of Red Light On Gaadi Off Campaign*

In a research by Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) it was estimated that out of Delhi’s total transport related emissions, approx. 9% is generated due to idling of vehicles at traffic intersections, and hence any intervention in this area will contribute to reduce air pollution in Delhi. In 2019, CSIR, in partnership with Petroleum Conservation and Research Association – PCRA, conducted a one week long intervention at the Bhikaji Cama traffic intersection in Delhi, which involved “deployment of on-site banners, stationary boards, enumerators holding placards”, the number of commuters switching off their vehicles increased from 20% to 62.33%. 

*Awareness increased amongst bikers & auto-drivers during the study*

During the study it was observed that before the awareness campaign, only 13.64% cars shut off their engines at red light. But, during the awareness campaign it increased to 46.45% cars. Similarly, two wheelers went from 42.73% to 83.72% and three wheelers from 30.49% to 81.33%. The change in buses went from 6.94% to 28.02% and trucks went from 17.54% to 43.02%. It was also noted how the percentage of vehicles shutting their engines off at red lights was higher after the campaign than before it. After the campaign ended, 33.48% cars were seen turning off their engines whereas, 80.12% two wheelers, 77.66% three wheelers, 20.72% buses and 37.43% trucks turned their engines off.

*Why is such a campaign needed?*

As per research report by CRRI cited above (intervention at the Bhikhaji Cama traffic intersection in Delhi), only 20% commuters switched off their engines at red light voluntarily and without any awareness campaign or intervention. Therefore, there is a large number of commuters (approx. 80%) who are not following their duty voluntarily and an intervention like Red Light On Gaadi Off is needed to make them aware. Campaigns targeted to change commuters’ behaviour to switch off engines at traffic intersections by deployment of human resources have been carried out in multiple cities in India too. One such example includes the initiative by HDFC Bank in partnership with city governments in 40 cities in India. As part of this three-day campaign launched on 5 June, 2022 (World Environment Day), short play / nukkad nataks were organised at over 126 busy signals in 40 cities across the country.

दिल्ली सरकार ने “रेड लाइट ऑन, गाड़ी ऑफ” अभियान की फाइल दोबारा एलजी को भेजी है। दिल्ली सरकार ने एलजी को कई सबूत भेजे हैं। ऐसे अभियान भारत के 40 शहरों में चलाये गए हैं। इसके अलावा अमेरिका और लंदन भी शामिल हैं। सीआरआरआई के मुताबिक़ केवल 20 फीसदी लोग लालबत्ती पर अपनी गाड़ी बंद करते हैं। इस अभियान से 80 फीसदी लोग लालबत्ती पर अपनी गाड़ी बंद कर देते हैं। दिल्ली के पर्यावरण मंत्री गोपाल राय ने कहा कि प्रदूषण के बढ़ते स्तर को देखते हुए एलजी तत्काल “रेड लाइट ऑन, गाड़ी ऑफ” अभियान की अनुमति दें। देश और दुनिया में कई जगह इस तरह का अभियान चलाया गया है। प्रदूषण रोकने के लिए हर स्तर पर पहल करना हम सबकी जिम्मेदारी है। 

दिल्ली के पर्यावरण मंत्री गोपाल राय ने सिविल लाइंस में आज अपने आवास पर महत्वपूर्ण प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि सर्दियों में दिल्ली में प्रदूषण की स्थिति बहुत ही चिंताजनक हो जाती है। ठंड के मौसम हवा कि गति कम होने तथा ठंड बढ़ने के कारण प्रदूषण काफी बढ़ जाता है। एक अनुमान के मुताबिक 1 नवंबर से हवा की गति 4 से 8 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा होने की संभावना है। जिससे प्रदूषण का स्तर और बढ़ने की संभावना है। इसलिए ग्रेप के नए नियमों के अनुसार तीन दिन पहले से ही दिल्ली में ग्रेप के तीसरे चरण को लागू कर दिया गया है। जिसके तहत दिल्ली में निर्माण एवं विध्वसं की गतिविधियों पर पूर्ण प्रतिबंद्ध लगा दिया गया है। अरविंद केजरीवाल की सरकार ने सर्दियों में प्रदूषण से निपटने के लिए 15 सूत्रीय कार्यक्रम बनाकर युद्धस्तर पर प्रयास कर रही है। पराली को जलाने के लिए बायो-डिकंपोजर का प्रयोग, बायोमास बर्निंग पर रोक, एंटी डस्ट अभियान के तहत जारी दिशा-निर्देशों का पालन करवाना, पूरी दिल्ली एंटी स्मोग गन के द्वारा पानी का छिड़काव इत्यादि अनेकों कार्य दिल्ली सरकार कर रही है। 

उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली में वाहन प्रदूषण से निपटने के लिए दिल्ली सरकार ने “रेड लाइट ऑन, गाड़ी ऑफ” अभियान को चलाने के लिए उपराज्यपाल के पास फाइल भेजी थी। लेकिन एलजी ने इस अभियान को रोकने के लिए कुछ आपत्ति लगाकर फाइल को वापस भेज दिया। हमने उनकी सभी आपत्तियों के उत्तर के साथ फाइल एजजी के पास भेज रहे हैं। उनसे निवेदन किया गया है कि दिल्ली में एक इमरजेंसी सिचुएशन बन रही है। प्रदूषण को रोकने के लिए हर प्रयास करने की जरूरत है। इसलिए वे इस अभियान को चलाने की अनुमति प्रदान करें। 

पर्यावरण मंत्री गोपाल राय ने कहा कि दिल्ली सरकार दिल्ली में वाहन प्रदूषण को रोकने के लिए इलेक्ट्रीक व्हीकल को बढ़ावा दे रही है। वाहनों के प्रदूषण सर्टिफिकेट की गहन चेकिंग की जा रही है। साथ ही अगर हम “रेड लाईट ऑन, गाड़ी ऑफ” अभियान को भी प्रारम्भ करते हैं तो वाहन प्रदूषण पर इसका काफी सकारात्मक प्रभाव पड़ेगा। हमने 2020 में इस अभियान को शुरू किया था। इसका आधार देश के अलग-अलग हिस्से में किए गए अध्ययन को बनाया गया। भारत सरकार के विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय के तहत, औद्योगिक अनुसंधान परिषद एवं केन्द्रीय सड़क अनुसंधान संस्थान के वैज्ञानिकों के द्वारा 2019 में एक अध्ययन किया गया था। जिसके अनुसार रेडलाइट पर गाड़ियों के इंजन बंद न होने के कारण 9 प्रतिशत अधिक प्रदूषण फैलता है।

*अभियान के बाद 62.33 प्रतिशत वाहन चालकों ने रेड लाइट पर गाड़ी का इंजन बंद करना शुरू किया*

इसके साथ साथ दिल्ली के अंदर एक और अध्ययन किया गया। दिल्ली में पीसीआरए और पेट्रोलियम संरक्षण साझेदारी के तहत भीकाजी कामा रेडलाईट पर एक अध्ययन किया गया। वहां पर बिना अभियान के जब सर्वे हुआ तो 20 प्रतिशत लोग रेलाईट पर अपना इंजन बंद कर देते थे। जबकि 80 प्रतिशत लोग अपने वाहन का इंजन बंद नहीं करते थे। ऐसे में वहां पर प्लेकार्ड वालेंटियरर्स ने अभियान शुरू किया। अभियान के बाद जब सर्वे किया गया तो पाया गया कि 62.33 प्रतिशत लोगों ने अपनी गाड़ी का इंजन बंद करना शुरू कर दिया गया। 

उन्होंने कहा कि इस अध्ययन के दौरान यह देखा गया कि जागरूकता अभियान से पहले केवल 13.64 फीसदी कार चालकों ने वाहन को रेड लाइट होने पर बंद किया। लेकिन जागरूकता अभियान के दौरान यह 46.45 फीसदी हो गया। इसी तरह दुपहिया वाहन 42.73 फीसदी से बढ़कर 83.72 फीसदी और तिपहिया वाहन 30.49 फीसदी से बढ़कर 81.33 फीसदी हो गए। बसों की संख्या 6.94 फीसदी से 28 फीसदी और ट्रकों की 17.54 फीसदी से 43.02 फीसदी हो गई। इस अभियान के बाद लाल बत्ती पर इंजन बंद करने वाले वाहनों की संख्या पहले की तुलना में अधिक थी। इस अभियान के  समाप्त होने के बाद 33.48 प्रतिशत कार चालकों, 80.12 प्रतिशत दोपहिया, 77.66 प्रतिशत तिपहिया, 20.72 प्रतिशत बसों और 37.43 प्रतिशत ट्रकों ने अपने इंजन बंद कर दिए।

गोपाल राय ने कहा कि इस प्रकार का अभियान अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर कई शहरों में भी किया गया है। लंदन में इस अभियान को “इंजन ऑफ एवरी स्टाफ” के नाम से चलाया गया। संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका के उत्तरी केरोलीना के शहरों में भी “टर्न ऑफ योर इंजन” के नाम से इसी प्रकार का अभियान चलाया गया था। इसके साथ साथ अमेरिका के साल्ट लेक सिटी में भी एक कैम्पेन चलाया गया। यह उन लोगों के लिए चलाया गया था जो कि अपने गाड़ी का इंजन स्टार्ट रख कर चौराहों, बाजारों में अपने साथी का इंतजार करते हैं। इस अभियान के बाद 10 में से 8 लोगों ने अपने गाड़ी के इंजन को बंद करना शुरू कर दिया। 

*देश के 40 शहरों के 126 चौराहों पर अभियान चलाया*

भारत में एचडीएफसी बैंक ने विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस पर 5 जून 2022 को देश के विभिन्न राज्यों के 40 शहरों के 126 चौराहों पर इसप्रकार का अभियान चलाया था। यह सारे जो प्रयोग हो रहे उसके पीछे के मोटा सा लॉजिक है जैसे कि मैं बार-बार कहता हूँ कि जब हम सुबह गाड़ी लेकर शहर में निकलते हैं तो शाम को घर पहुँचने तक 10 से 12 रेडलाइट से गुजरते हैं। अपनी आदत के कारण इन चौराहों पर हम अपने गाड़ी का इंजन चालू रखते हैं। इसका अर्थ यह हुआ कि हम 25 से 30 मिनट बेकार में ही फ्यूल बर्निंग करते हैं। “रेड लाईट ऑन, गाड़ी ऑफ” अभियान का उद्देश्य यही है कि इस आदत को बदला जाए। जिससे कि लोग अपने वाहनों के इंजन को रेडलाइट पर बंद कर दें। 

उन्होंने कहा कि इस जागरूकता अभियान का असर लोगों पर पड़ता है। वे एक-दूसरे को अपने गाड़ी का इंजन बंद करने की सलाह भी देते हैं। इसीलिए हमने पिछले 2 सालों में इस अभियान को सफलता पूर्वक चलाया है। यह दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है कि इस बार अभियान को रोका गया। इस बार हमने इन सारे तथ्यों के साथ फाइल दोबारा एलजी के पास भेजी गई है। हमें उम्मीद है कि इस बार वे इसकी अनुमति दे देंगे।

शहर भर में अभियान के तहत 100 व्यस्त चौराहों पर रेड लाइट होने पर वाहन को बंद करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए 2,500 सिविल डिफेंस वालंटियर्स को तैनात किया जाता है। इससे वाहनों के प्रदूषण को 15-20 फीसदी तक कम किया जा सकता है।

A new teacher training institute, has been developed by the Delhi Government in Shahdara to take teacher education in India to greater heights of excellence. On Saturday, this new institute was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Shri Manish Sisodia and Delhi Assembly Speaker and local MLA Shri Ram Niwas Goel. It is noteworthy that DIET Shahdara is the 10th Teacher Training Institute of the Delhi Government, wherein 300 trainees will undergo training to become world class teachers. On this occasion, Shri Sisodia said that 300 trainees would come out of this new modern institute equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, to shape the future of the country with their unmatched ability as teachers. Delhi Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Ram Niwas Goel said that it is a matter of pride for us to start a new Teacher Training Institute in Shahdara, which will fulfil the dream of becoming teachers of Shahdara and nearby youth.

Shri Manish Sisodia said that it is a matter of great pride that a new teacher training institute has been dedicated to Delhi today by Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal. In this new teacher training institute, excellent teachers will be prepared who will carry the future of our country to greater heights with their talent. He said that Delhi’s Education Model is the result of the Education Revolution started by Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal in 2015, and today, its light is spreading all over the country. The buildings of Delhi government schools have become magnificent, the schools are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. We trained our teachers in the renowned IIMs and the finest institutions abroad, giving them international exposure. Due to these initiatives & efforts, Delhi remains No.1 in the field of education.

Shri Manish Sisodia said that during the Corona epidemic, when there was a chance to lay the foundation stone of this building, there was absolutely nothing here. However, our engineers worked day and night to build a new classroom block and the new institute for our future teachers here. He said that there have been nationally renowned educationists who have been a part of SCERT Delhi but these educationists never got access to good facilities before. As soon as Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal came to power, the focus immediately moved towards providing world-class facilities in the field of education. Our teacher educators did an excellent job to lay the foundation for the transformation of Delhi’s education model.

The Education Minister said that when the new government was formed in 2015 in Delhi, it came to be known that our teacher educators – working in various teacher training institutions of the Delhi Government, taught collegiate level students but received the same salary as school teachers. After deliberating deeply on this, a landmark decision was made, and consequently today, Delhi is the only state in the entire country where teacher educators are provided with world class facilities and salaries at par with UGC standards. The Delhi Government fulfilled its responsibility of providing excellent facilities and salaries to teacher educators, and now our teacher educators must work towards preparing the excellent teachers that India needs today.

The Delhi government is the only government in the country which has created a Teachers University for teacher training at par with IIT & IIM.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that till now only prose & literature have ascribed eminence to the Guru, but in real life, no parent thinks of their children adopting teaching as a profession. Giving an example, he said that it is a bitter truth that if a child does well in maths today, then parents ask them to become an engineer; if a child does well in social science, then they are asked to prepare for UPSC, but no one ever considers teaching as a potential career path for bright students; for them to grow up to become a successful maths teacher or science teacher.

He said, “in ordinary families, people are still hesitant when it comes to the adoption of teaching as a profession. Parents are not at fault for this. The top institutes of India in which students aspire to get admission into – such as the IIMs & the IITs, have been created only for engineering and medical students. Why is it that there are no dream institutes or universities in India that students who wish to become teachers can aspire for?”

It was Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s vision that a university at par with the IITs & IIMs must be made for teacher education in Delhi, and children who dream of becoming a teacher can aspire to study here. The Delhi Teachers University was started with this vision. He said that only by seeing these world-class universities and facilities, passion and attraction will be created among the youth of the country, and the youth’s aspiration to adopt teaching as a profession shall grow.

Shri Manish Sisodia said that there exists a political party in the country which hates education, and hates working towards providing a better education system. He said, “This party resorts to malice and hooliganism when the Delhi Govt tries to improve the education system and create good schools for our children. But we won’t ever be stopped in our mission to transform lives through education, even if they send the CBI and ED after us. We have built schools and hospitals for the people of Delhi with honesty. We are not afraid of neither their hooliganism nor their agencies. The BJP can continue running a government of false investigations, and we will continue running a government that works for the people. They can continue running a government that attempts to stop children from studying, and we will go on running a government that endeavours to improve education further.

On this occasion, the Speaker of Delhi Vidhan Sabha and local MLA Shri Ram Niwas Goel said that it is a matter of immense fortune for the people of Shahdara that under the leadership of Shri Arvind Kejriwal, a new teacher training institute has been started in their area, which will fulfil the dream of the youth of Shahdara to adopt teaching as a profession. He said “Before independence, this land was given to the people of this area by the Lala Baburam ji for the construction of a school. Today, the government is running two excellent schools as well as a teacher training institute here.”

He went on to share that two building blocks of 72 rooms are being inaugurated in this complex today. In this, 36 rooms have been made for the school and 36 rooms for DIET Shahdara. Along with this, a magnificent multipurpose auditorium has also been constructed here by the Delhi government.

Shri Ram Niwas Goel said that education has always been the top priority of the Delhi Government and due to this prioritisation, the education model of Delhi is being lauded all over the world today. People from all over the globe are coming not only to see, but also to learn from the education model of Delhi. This is a matter of immense pride for us all.

*Features of newly constructed building of DIET Shahdara*

·      There are a total of 36 rooms in the 4-storey DIET building.

·      All laboratories related to teacher education are present in the building and are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

·      Multipurpose Hall of 250 people capacity is present in the building

·      5 Multipurpose rooms for organising various activities for trainees

·      An elevator has also been provided in the new building

·      Along with the DIET, a classroom block of 36 rooms was also inaugurated for the Delhi Govt school present here today.

केजरीवाल सरकार द्वारा टीचर एजुकेशन को शानदार व विश्वस्तरीय बनाने के विज़न के तहत शानदार में एक नए शिक्षक ट्रेनिंग संस्थान, डाइट शहादरा का निर्माण करवाया गया है| शनिवार को दिल्ली के उपमुख्यमंत्री व शिक्षा मंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया व दिल्ली विधानसभा के अध्यक्ष रामनिवास गोयल ने इसका उद्घाटन किया| बता दे की डाइट शहादरा दिल्ली सरकार का दसवां टीचर ट्रेनिंग संस्थान है जहाँ हर बैच में 300 ट्रेनीज को शिक्षक बनने के लिए शानदार ट्रेनिंग दी जाएगी| इस मौके पर श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि अत्याधुनिक सुविधाओं से लैस इस नए आधुनिक संस्थान से ट्रेनीज शानदार टीचर ट्रेनिंग लेकर निकलेंगे और शिक्षक बनकर अपनी क़ाबिलियत से देश के भविष्य को संवारेंगे। दिल्ली विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री रामनिवास गोयल ने कहा कि शहादरा में नए टीचर ट्रेनिंग संस्थान की शुरुआत हमारे लिए गर्व की बात है| ये शहादरा व आसपास के युवाओं के शिक्षक बनने के सपने को पूरा करेगी| 

शिक्षामंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा कि ये बेहद ख़ुशी की बात है कि मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल जी द्वारा आज दिल्ली को एक नया टीचर ट्रेनिंग संस्थान समर्पित किया गया है| इस नए टीचर ट्रेनिंग संस्थान से हर साल शानदार शिक्षक तैयार होंगे जो अपने काबिलियत से इस देश के भविष्य को सवारेंगे| उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल जी ने 2015 में जो शिक्षा की जो मुहिम शुरू की दिल्ली का शिक्षा मॉडल उसी का नतीजा है और आज उसकी रौशनी आज पूरे देश में फ़ैल रही है| आज दिल्ली सरकार के स्कूलों की बिल्डिंग शानदार बन गई है, स्कूल अत्याधुनिक सुविधाओं से लैस है| हमने अपने शिक्षकों को आईआईएम और विदेशों में ट्रेंनिंग दी, अंतरराष्ट्रीय एक्सपोज़र दिया| इन्ही प्रयासों की बदौलत आज दिल्ली शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में नंबर.1 बना हुआ है|

श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि कोरोना महामारी के दौरान इस भवन का शिलान्यास करने का मौका मिला था तब यहां कुछ भी नहीं था लेकिन हमारे इंजिनियरों ने दिन-रात एक कर हमारे भावी शिक्षकों के लिए इस बिल्डिंग व स्कूल के नए लिए नया क्लासरूम ब्लाक बनाया| उन्होंने कहा कि एससीईआरटी दिल्ली में देश के जाने-माने शिक्षाविद रहे है पर पहले उन्हें कभी अच्छी सुविधाएं नहीं मिली| लेकिन मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल जी के सरकार में आते ही हमने उन्हें विश्वस्तरीय सुविधाएं देने का काम किया और हमारे टीचर एजुकेटर्स ने शानदार काम करते हुए दिल्ली के शिक्षा मॉडल में आए बदलावों की नीँव रखी|    

शिक्षामंत्री ने कहा कि जब 2015 में सरकार में आने पर पता चला कि दिल्ली सरकार के शिक्षक संस्थानों में पढाने वाले हमारे टीचर एजुकेटर्स एक तरीके से संस्थान स्तर के बच्चों को पढ़ाते है लेकिन उन्हें वेतन स्कूल के शिक्षको के जैसा मिलता है| इसपर विचार-विमर्श कर हमने फैसला लिया और आज दिल्ली पूरे देश का एकमात्र ऐसा राज्य है जहाँ टीचर एजुकेटर्स शानदार फैसिलिटी व यूजीसी के समान वेतन मिलता है| केजरीवाल सरकार ने टीचर एजुकेटर्स को बहुत शानदार सुविधाएं व वेतन देने का काम किया| अब इस देश को शानदार शिक्षक चाहिए और ये हमारे टीचर एजुकेटर्स दे सकते है|

उपमुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि अबतक सिर्फ दोहे और किताबों में ही गुरु को शीर्ष स्थान दिया है लेकिन असल जिंदगी में कोई भी पेरेंट्स अपने बच्चों को शिक्षक बनाने के बारे में नही सोचता| उन्होंने उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि यह एक कड़वा सच है कि आज कोई बच्चा गणित में शानदार प्रदर्शन करता है तो पेरेंट्स उसे इंजिनियर बनने के लिए कहते है, सामाजिक विज्ञान में अच्छा प्रदर्शन करता है तो यूपीएसई की तैयारी के लिए कहते है लेकिन कोई यह नहीं बोलता है कि तुम मैथ में अच्छे हो तो मैथ के टीचर बन जाओ, सामाजिक विज्ञान में अच्छे हो तो सामाजिक विज्ञान के शिक्षक बन जाओ| 

उन्होंने कहा कि सामान्य घरों में जब शिक्षक बनने की बात आती तब लोग थोड़े झिझकते है और इसमें पेरेंट्स की गलती भी नहीं है क्योंकि देश में अबतक इंजीनियरिंग-मैनेजमेंट के लिए आईआईटी-आईआईएम टॉप संस्थान तो बनाए गए लेकिन जिन बच्चों का शिक्षक बनने का ड्रीम होता है उनके लिए ऐसे ड्रीम संस्थान या संस्थान नहीं बनाए गए? 

मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने यह बीड़ा उठाया है कि दिल्ली में टीचर एजुकेशन के  लिए आईआईटी-आईआईएम के स्तर की ड्रीम यूनिवर्सिटी बनाई जाए और इनमें वो बच्चे पढ़ सकें जिनका सपना शिक्षक बनने का है और हमने दिल्ली शिक्षक विश्वविद्यालय की शुरुआत की| उन्होंने कहा कि इन्ही ड्रीम यूनिवर्सिटीज व शानदार सुविधाओं को देखकर ही देश के युवाओं में शिक्षक बनने को लेकर जुनून व आकर्षण पैदा होगा|

शिक्षा मंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया कहा कि देश में एक ऐसे पार्टी है जिसे बच्चों को शानदार शिक्षा व शानदार स्कूल बनाने से बहुत नफरत है| उन्होंने कहा कि ये ऐसी पार्टी है कि जब हमलोग बच्चों के लिए अच्छी शिक्षा और अच्छे स्कूल बनाते है तो इनके लोग गुंडागर्दी पर उतर जाते है| हम तब भी नहीं रुकते तब ये लोग सीबीआई और ईडी को हमारे पीछे लगा देते है| उन्होंने कहा कि हमलोगों ने ईमानदारी से दिल्ली की जनता के लिए स्कूल व अस्पताल बनवायें है| हम इनकी गुंडागर्दी, सीबीआई-ईडी से नहीं डरते| भाजपा फर्जी जांच की सरकार चलायें हम काम की सरकार चलाएंगे, ये पढाई रोकने की सरकार चलाएंगे, हम पढाई – लिखाई वाली सरकार चलाएंगे |

इस मौके पर दिल्ली विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री रामनिवास गोयल ने कहा कि आज मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल जी के नेतृत्त्व में शहादरा की जनता के लिए यह सौभाग्य कि बात है कि उनके क्षेत्र में नए टीचर ट्रेनिंग संस्थान की शुरुआत हुई है| जो शहादरा व आसपास के युवाओं के शिक्षक बनने के सपने को पूरा करेगी| उन्होंने कहा कि आजादी से पहले दानवीर लाला बाबूराम जी द्वारा इस क्षेत्र की जनता के लिए इस जमीन को स्कूल के लिए दिया गया और आज सरकार द्वारा यहां 2 शानदार स्कूल के साथ-साथ टीचर ट्रेनिंग संस्थान भी चलाया जा रहा है|

उन्होंने बताया कि इस परिसर में आज 72 कमरों के 2 बिल्डिंग ब्लाक का उद्घाटन किया जा रहा है| इसमें 36 कमरे स्कूल के लिए तथा 36 कमरे डाइट शहादरा के लिए बनाए गए है| साथ ही यहां सरकार द्वारा शानदार सभागार का निर्माण भी किया गया है| 

श्री रामनिवास गोयल जी ने कहा कि शिक्षा दिल्ली सरकार की हमेशा से प्राथमिकता रही है और इसी प्राथमिकता के कारण आज दिल्ली के शिक्षा मॉडल की पूरे विश्व में चर्चा है| आज देश दुनिया से लोग न सिर्फ दिल्ली के शिक्षा मॉडल को देखने व उससे सीखने भी आ रहे है जो हम सभी के लिए गर्व की बात है|

केजरीवाल सरकार द्वारा दिल्ली में छठ पूजा के भव्य आयोजन को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए आज दिल्ली के राजस्व मंत्री कैलाश गहलोत ने दिल्ली भर में विभिन्न छठ घाटों का दौरा किया। सबसे पहले वो भलस्वा झील गए जहाँ उन्होंने घाटों का निरिक्षण किया उसके बाद वो वजीरपुर के केशवपुरम इलाके में गए। बुराड़ी निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के परशुराम एन्क्लेव में विभिन्न घाटों पर दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा की जा रही वयवस्था का जायज़ा लेने के बाद वो  बुराड़ी में ही बजरंगी घाट गए। उन्होंने बाद में छतरपुर विधानसभा क्षेत्र के आयानगर में भी घाटों का निरीक्षण किया। राजस्व मंत्री के साथ बुराड़ी के विधायक संजीव झा, वजीरपुर के विधायक राजेश गुप्ता और छतरपुर के विधायक करतार सिंह तंवर भी मौजूद रहें। 

उत्तरी दिल्ली में भलस्वा झील का दौरा करते हुए, उन्होंने वहां पूजा समितियों के सदस्यों और व्रतियों के साथ बातचीत की। दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा घाट पर की गई व्यवस्थाओं से स्थानीय लोग खुश दिखे और दिल्ली में भव्य और अभूतपूर्व छठ पूजा की व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल को धन्यवाद दिया। यात्रा के बारे में ट्वीट करते हुए राजस्व मंत्री कैलाश गहलोत ने लिखा, “आज भलस्वा झील स्थित छठ पूजा घाटों का निरीक्षण किया और वहां स्थानीय लोगों व पूजा समिति के मेंबर्स से बातचीत की। मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल के मार्गदर्शन में हमने पूरी दिल्ली में छठ पूजा के लिए व्यापक इंतज़ाम किए हैं। छठी मईया के आशीर्वाद से पूरी दिल्ली में धूम-धाम से छठ पूजा मनाई जाएगी।”

भलस्वा झील का भ्रमण करने के बाद वो वजीरपुर विधानसभा क्षेत्र के केशवपुरम गए और वहां की तैयारियों का जायजा लिया। कैलाश गहलोत ने घाट पर अधिकारियों को कार्यों में तेजी लाने के निर्देश जारी करते हुए स्वच्छता, प्रकाश व्यवस्था और जलापूर्ति व्यवस्था की जाँच की। उन्होंने वहां के लोगों से बातचीत की और उन्हें बेहतरीन आयोजन का आश्वासन दिया। 

राजस्व मंत्री कैलाश गहलोत इसके बाद बुराड़ी क्षेत्र के परशुराम एन्क्लेव में स्थित घाटों और बजरंगी घाट पर गए। उन्होंने वहां ग्रामीणों और स्थानीय लोगों से बातचीत की और उन्हें बताया कि उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया है कि श्रद्धालुओं को किसी भी तरह की असुविधा का सामना न करना पड़े।  लोग व्यवस्थाओं से खुश दिखे और केजरीवाल सरकार के कामो की सराहना की। उन्होंने ग्रामीणों से बातचीत करते हुए कहा कि दिल्ली सरकार ने छठ व्रतियों के लिए हर जगह बेहतरीन व्यवस्था की है। 

राजस्व मंत्री कैलाश गहलोत इसके बाद छतरपुर निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के आयानगर गए। मंत्री के साथ स्थानीय विधायक करतार सिंह तंवर और दक्षिणी दिल्ली की जिलाधिकारी डॉ. मोनिका प्रियदर्शिनी भी थीं। उन्होंने मंत्री को बताया कि लगभग सभी व्यवस्थाएं कर ली गई हैं और शेष को आज ही पूरा कर लिया जाएगा। 

इस साल केजरीवाल सरकार पूरे दिल्ली में 1100 स्थलों पर छठ पूजा का आयोजन कर रही है। दिल्ली में, छठ पूजा प्रबंधन और सुरक्षित आयोजन के लिए राजस्व विभाग नोडल विभाग है। राजस्व विभाग सभी 1100 पूजा स्थलों पर टेंट, कुर्सी, टेबल लाइटिंग, साउंड सिस्टम, सीसीटीवी, एलईडी स्क्रीन, पावर बैकअप आदि जैसी ज़रूरतों को पूरा कर रही।  इसके अलावा राजस्व विभाग दिल्ली सरकार के अन्य विभागों के साथ समन्वय कर आवश्यक ज़रूरतों को पूरा कर रहा। राजस्व विभाग, सिंचाई और बाढ़ नियंत्रण विभाग (I&FC) और दिल्ली जल बोर्ड (DJB) के साथ समन्वय करके स्वच्छ पानी की व्यवस्था भी कर रहा वहीं स्वास्थ्य विभाग के साथ समन्वय करके प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं और एम्बुलेंस की तैनाती सुनिश्चित की जा रही । मोबाइल शौचालय वैन (एमटीवी) के लिए डूसिब (DUSIB) और सुरक्षा के लिए दिल्ली पुलिस और सिविल डिफेंस वालंटियर्स, यातायात प्रबंधन के लिए यातायात पुलिस और साफ़-सफाई के लिए एमसीडी / एनडीएमसी जैसी एजेंसियों के साथ समन्वय किया जा रहा है ।

केजरीवाल सरकार इस वर्ष छठ पूजा 1100 स्थलों पर आयोजित कर रही है। 2014 में यह संख्या 69 थी।  इस वर्ष बजट भी बढ़ा दिया गया है जो की 2014 में 2.5 करोड़ से 10 गुना बढ़ाकर इस साल लगभग  25 करोड़ कर दिया  गया है। 

दिन में, राजस्व मंत्री ने एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस भी की और छठ पूजा व्रतियों को शुभकामनाएं दी। मीडिया से बातचीत करते हुए उन्होंने कहा, “कोरोना महामारी के कारण, हम पिछले 2 वर्षों से छठ पूजा ठीक से नहीं मना सके, लेकिन इस साल स्थिति नियंत्रण में है, दिल्ली सरकार पूरे दिल्ली में 1100 विभिन्न घाटों पर छठ पूजा का एक भव्य आयोजन कर रही है। मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल व्यक्तिगत रूप से पूरी व्यवस्था की निगरानी कर रहे हैं ताकि श्रद्धालुओं को किसी तरह की परेशानी न हो।”

निरिक्षण और बैठकों के बारे में बात करते हुए उन्होंने कहा, “मैंने दिल्ली में कई स्थानों पर छठ घाटों का निरीक्षण किया है। मैं श्रद्धालुओं और छठ पूजा समितियों के सदस्यों से मिला हूं, दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा की गई व्यवस्था से सभी बहुत संतुष्ट हैं।”

उन्होंने आगे कहा, “इस संबंध में मैंने विधायकों, समितियों और अधिकारियों के साथ कई बैठकें की हैं। आज मैंने घाटों का निरीक्षण किया और व्यवस्थाओं का जायजा लिया। मैंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया है कि श्रद्धालुओं को कोई असुविधा न हो।”

Ensuring grand festivities on the occasion of Chhath Puja on behalf of the Delhi Government, Revenue Minister Shri Kailash Gahlot today inspected several Chhath Puja ghats throughout the length and breadth of Delhi. He first went to Bhalswa Lake and then inspected the ghats at Keshav Puram in Wazirpur constituency, Bajrangi Ghat and Ghats at Parshuram Enclave in Burari constituency and ghats at Aya Nagar in Chhatarpur constituency. Burari MLA Shri Sanjeev Jha, Wazirpur MLA Shri Rajesh Gupta and Chhhatrpur MLA Shri Kartar Singh Tanwar accompanied the Minister during the visits.

Visiting the Bhalswa lake in North Delhi, he interacted with the members of puja samitis and devotees there. Locals were seen happy with the arrangements at the ghat made by Delhi Government and  thanked the Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal for putting the all out effort in ensuring the arrangements for the grand and unprecedented Chhath Puja in Delhi. Tweeting about the visit, Revenue Minister Shri Kailash Gahlot wrote “Today, inspected the Chhath Puja Ghats located at Bhalswa Lake and interacted with the local people and members of the Puja Committee there. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal, we have made elaborate arrangements for Chhath Puja all over Delhi. With the blessings of Chhathi Maiyya, Chhath Puja will be celebrated with great pomp across Delhi.”

After visiting the Bhalswa lake, he went to Keshav Puram in Wazirpur constituency and took stock of the preparation there. Issuing directions to expedite the arrangement works at the ghats, Shri Kailash Gahlot checked the sanitation, lighting and water supply arrangements. He instructed the officers to expedite the preparation work. He interacted with people there and assured them of proper arrangements.

Revenue Minister Shri Kailash Gahlot then went to Bajrangi Ghat and ghats at Parshuram Enclave in Burari constituency. He interacted with villagers and locals there and told them that he had instructed the officials that devotees should not face any inconvenience. The people seemed happy about the arrangements and appreciated the Delhi Government for their work. Interacting with the villagers, he said that the Delhi Government has made excellent arrangements for Chhath Vratis everywhere.

Shri Kailash Gahlot then went to Aaya Nagar in Chhatarpur constituency. District Magistrate of South Delhi, Dr. Monica Priyadarshini accompanied the Minister along with local MLA Shri Kartar Singh Tanwar. She informed the Minister that almost all the arrangements have been made and the remaining will be completed by today only.

This year, Delhi Government is organising the Chatth Puja at 1100 sites all over Delhi. In Delhi, the Revenue Department is the nodal department for the celebration of Chhath Puja in a safe, secure and eco-friendly manner with full festivity. The Revenue Department will make the necessary arrangements for tentage and electrical items such as tents, chairs, tables lighting, sound system, CCTV, LED screens, power backup and so on at all the 1100 Puja sites. Furthermore, the Revenue Department will ensure the provision for the other required facilities in coordination with other departments of the Delhi Government such as the Irrigation & Flood Control Department (I&FC) and Delhi Jal Board (DJB) for clean water arrangements, Health Department for primary health services and deployment of Ambulance, DUSIB for Mobile Toilet Vans (MTVs) and with agencies such as Delhi Police and CDV for safety & security, Traffic Police for Traffic Management and MCD/NDMC for sanitation and cleanliness.

The Delhi Government has grown the celebration of Chhath Puja from 69 sites in 2014 to a whopping 1100 sites and increased the budget 10 times from 2.5 Crore in 2014 to approx. 25 Crore this year to facilitate lakhs of devotees in offering their prayers on Chhath.

Later in the day, the Revenue Minister also held a press conference and wished the Chhath Vratis. Interacting with the media he said “Due to Corona pandemic, we could not celebrate Chhath Puja properly for the last 2 years but as the situation is under control this year, Delhi Government is organising a grand celebration of Chhath Puja at 1100 different Ghats across Delhi. Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal is personally monitoring the entire arrangements to ensure devotees face no inconvenience.”

Talking about the visits and meetings, he said “I have inspected Chhath Ghats at many locations in Delhi. I have met the devotees and members of Chhath Puja Committees, everyone seems very satisfied with the arrangements made by the Delhi Government.”

He further said “I have held several meetings with MLAs, committees and officials in this regard. Today, I inspected the Ghats and took stock of the arrangements. I have instructed the officials that the devotees should not face any inconvenience.”

“एक कॉन्फिडेंट शिक्षक ही अपने बच्चों में कॉन्फिडेंस ला सकता है जबकि एक डरा हुआ शिक्षक समाज को केवल डरे हुए बच्चे ही देगा। इसलिए केवल आत्मविश्वास से भरे शिक्षकों के बल पर ही सशक्त समाज व सशक्त राष्ट्र का निर्माण किया जा सकता है। अपने आत्मविश्वास के साथ शिक्षक अपने जीवन के हर डर पर जीत हासिल कर बच्चों में कुछ कर गुजरने का जज्बा और आत्मविश्वास पैदा कर सकते है।” उपमुख्यमंत्री व शिक्षामंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने ये बातें शुक्रवार को दिल्ली सरकार के शिक्षक-प्रशिक्षण संस्थान ‘डाइट राजेन्द्र नगर व डाइट दरियागंज’  के विजिट के दौरान प्रशिक्षु शिक्षकों(प्री-सर्विस टीचर ट्रेनीज) के साथ चर्चा कही।

उन्होंने ट्रेनीज के अपने छात्र जीवन के दौरान स्कूल में पढ़ने के अनुभवों व उनके द्वारा अभी एक प्रशिक्षु शिक्षक के रूप में स्कूल में पढ़ाने के बीच की पद्धतियों में बदलाव पर चर्चा की। श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि हमारे भावी शिक्षकों ने अपने स्कूली जीवन में जैसा पढ़ा और आज स्कूल में बच्चों को पढ़ाने के लिए जैसे तैयारियां कर रहे हैं इसके बीच के अंतर को समझकर ही वह एक बेहतर शिक्षक बन सकते है।

उन्होंने ट्रेनीज से कहा कि, वे अपने स्कूल के दिनों को याद करें और सोचे की वह अपने उन शिक्षकों से क्या और क्यों सीखना चाहते हैं? और क्या उन चीजों को वे अपने आज के टीचिंग स्टाइल में अपना रहे हैं। साथ ही शिक्षा मंत्री ने प्रशिक्षुओं से जाना कि ऐसी क्या खूबियां है जो एक सामान्य शिक्षक को औरों से अलग व स्पेशल बनाती है।

इस मौके पर उपमुख्यमंत्री ने प्रशिक्षु शिक्षकों से सवाल किया कि जब वे स्कूल में पढ़ रहे थे और आज जब वे स्कूल में पढ़ाने के लिए तैयार हो रहे हैं तो दोनों के बीच क्या अंतर है। इसपर ट्रेनीज ने बताया कि पहले पढ़ाने का तरीका और उसका मूल्यांकन करने का तरीका काफी अलग होता था व टीचिंग-लर्निंग प्रक्रिया एकतरफा होती थी। लेकिन अब ऐसा नहीं है अब शिक्षण दो तरफा होती है जहां बच्चे और टीचर आपस में चर्चा ज्यादा करते है और कॉन्सेप्ट्स को समझने का काम करते हैं न कि पहले की तरह रटते है।

ट्रेनीज ने बताया कि अब मूल्यांकन की प्रक्रिया भी काफी बदल गई है। हम देख व सीख रहे है कि अब बच्चों की समझ के आधार पर उनका आकलन किया जाता है ना की उनके रटने की क्षमता के आधार पर। साथ ही अब इंटीग्रेटेड लर्निंग कर भी जोर दिया जाता है। और गणित विज्ञान जैसे विषयों को आर्ट के साथ जोड़कर, फिजिकल एजुकेशन के साथ जोड़कर पढ़ाया जाता है। ऐसे में एक विषय पढ़ने के दौरान कई विषयों की समझ विकसित सकते है।

ट्रेनीज ने बताया कि हमे सिखाया जा रहा है कि कैसे स्कूल में बच्चों को विभिन्न विषयों को उनके वास्तविक जीवन के उदाहरणों के साथ जोड़कर पढ़ाया जाए। ताकि बच्चों की किताबों पर से निर्भरता खत्म हो और वे किताबों का इस्तेमाल केवल रेफरेंस के तौर पर करें। इसे हम अपने टीचिंग में भी अपना रहे हैं और उसमें किताबों की निर्भरता को खत्म कर रहे हैं।

प्रशिक्षुओं ने बताया कि हमें संस्थान में हर बच्चे के अनूठेपन को समझने की ट्रेनिंग दी जा रही है ताकि जब हम कक्षा में हो तो हर बच्चे की अलग जरूरतों को समझते हुए उसके अनुसार उनकी लर्निंग में मदद कर सकें। 

इसपर उपमुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारे भावी शिक्षक ने अपनी स्कूली शिक्षा के दौरान जैसा पढ़ा और अभी स्कूल में पढ़ाने के लिए जिस तरीके की तैयारी कर रहे हैं इन दोनों के बीच अंतर को समझकर ही वे विश्वस्तरीय शिक्षक बन सकते हैं।

चर्चा के दौरान शिक्षा मंत्री ने ट्रेनीज से शिक्षक बनने के उनके मोटिवेशन के बार में पूछा तो उन्होंने बताया पिछले कुछ सालों में हमें एजुकेशन सिस्टम में बहुत से बदलावों को अनुभव किया है| इन बदलावों के कारण हमारे निर्णय लेने की क्षमता और आत्मविश्वास भी बढ़ा है और यही कारण है कि हम शिक्षक बनना चाहते है और शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में आए इस बदलाव में अब एक शिक्षक के रूप में अपनी भूमिका निभाना चाहते है| 

इसपर श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि, हमारे ट्रेनीज यह सपना देखते है कि उन्हें अच्छा शिक्षक बनना है, अच्छी नौकरी पानी है लेकिन उन्हें अब अपने सपने में एक बड़ा सपना और जोड़ना चाहिए| हर ट्रेनी टीचर को यह सपना देखना चाहिए कि मुझे टीचर बनने के बाद शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में कुछ ऐसा काम करना है कि भारत का एजुकेशन सिस्टम विश्व के टॉप एजुकेशन सिस्टम में शुमार हो जाए| उन्होंने कहा कि आज हम शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में विश्व के टॉप देशों की लिस्ट देखते है तो उसमें फ़िनलैंड, सिंगापूर, ब्रिटेन आदि का नाम आता है| अब हमें अपने एजुकेशन सिस्टम में ऐसे टीचर्स चाहिए जो इतना शानदार काम करें की अगले कुछ सालों में जब दुनिया के किसी कोने में बैठा कोई व्यक्ति यह सर्च करें कि शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में विश्व का टॉप देश कौनसा है तो उसे भारत का नाम दिखे| 

उन्होंने आगे कहा कि यह दारोमदार हमारे स्कूलों में पढ़ा रहे शिक्षकों पर तो है ही साथ ही भविष्य में शिक्षक बनने जा रहे आप ट्रेनीज पर भी है| इसके लिए जरुरी है कि हमारे ट्रेनीज शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में अपनाए जा रहे नवाचारो को समझे और देखे कि फ़िनलैंड, सिंगापूर या ब्रिटेन जैसे देशों ने अपने एजुकेशन सिस्टम में ऐसा क्या खास किया है कि आज वो टॉप पर है| उन्होंने कहा कि हम तभी नं.1 बनेंगे जब आप भावी शिक्षक विश्व के सबसे विख्यात शिक्षकों व शिक्षा व्यवस्थाओं से सीखकर, ग्लोबल कम्पटीशन के लिए तैयार करेंगे ताकि इनकी डिलीवर किए सिस्टम में विश्वभर के बच्चे पढ़ना चाहे|

श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि हमारे भावी शिक्षक अपने प्रोफेशन को केवल स्कूलों में पढ़ाने तक ही सीमित ना देखें। तेजी से बढ़ते इस डिजिटल वर्ल्ड में उन्हें शिक्षण से जुड़े और भी प्रोफेशन की ओर ध्यान देने की जरूरत है। हमारी ट्रेनीज अपने भविष्य के लिए हमेशा एक बड़े कैनवस की ओर देखें और अपने आप को केवल एक चीज तक सीमित ना रखें।

श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि हमारे शिक्षकों को निडर होने की जरूरत है क्योंकि 1 निडर व आत्मविश्वास से भरा हुआ शिक्षक ही अपनी कक्षा में बच्चों को मोटिवेट कर सकता है और भविष्य के लिए सशक्त बना सकता है।

गौरतलब है कि दोनों डाइट में विजिट के दौरान शिक्षा सचिव अशोक कुमार, प्रधान शिक्षा सलाहकार शैलेन्द्र शर्मा व निदेशक एससीईआरटी रजनीश कुमार सिंह भी मौजूद रहे।

Deputy CM Shri Manish Sisodia visited Delhi Government’s teacher-training institutes, DIET Rajendra Nagar and DIET Daryaganj on Friday. During the visit, the Dy CM came to know about the teaching-learning style of the trainee teachers and had a long discussion with them. He stated, “Only a confident teacher can instil confidence in his children. A strong nation and a strong society can be built only on the strength of confident teachers. With this, teachers can overcome every fear in their life and feel motivated to do something for their children.” He discussed the difference between pedagogical practices being witnessed by the trainees during training and the way they were taught in their schools.

Shri Manish Sisodia said that to become a world-class teacher, future teachers must understand the difference between the way they were taught in their times and the pedagogical practices they are being taught now. 

He asked the trainees to remember their school days and think about what they wanted to learn from their teachers. What pedagogical styles they wanted their teachers to follow. This will help them understand the mindset of students and help them become better teachers. 

On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister asked the trainees about the difference in pedagogical styles of today and what was followed in their times. On this, the trainees answered that earlier the method of teaching and evaluation used to be quite different and the process was one-sided. But now it is more participatory from both sides. 

They added that now the process of assessment has also changed. They are learning different ways to assess children on the basis of their understanding and not on the basis of their ability to memorize. Along with this, now the emphasis is also given on integrated learning. Subjects like mathematics and science are taught in conjunction with art, combined with physical education. This can help in the conceptual development of many subjects at a time. 

The trainees told us that they are being taught how to teach various subjects by linking them with real-life examples. This is helping them in reducing the dependency of children on just notebooks.

During the interaction, when the Deputy CM asked the trainees about their motivation to become a teacher, they said that they have experienced many changes in the education system in the last few years. These changes have improved their decision-making ability and boosted their confidence. This is the major motivation for them to become a teacher in the future. They added that now they want to bring changes in the education system of the country and contribute to society. 

Reacting to this feedback, Shri Manish Sisodia said, “Our trainees aim to get a good job and become good teachers in the future, but now they need to broaden the horizon of their dreams. Every trainee teacher should dream that after becoming a teacher, they have to work towards making the Indian education system No.1 in the world. Today, the names of countries like Finland, Singapore, and Britain are counted among those having the best education systems in the world. They must study these countries and the role of education in their development.” He added that now we need to set the standard of the Indian Education System so high that its name should come on the top of the list when people search for the best education systems in the world. 

Shri Manish Sisodia said that our future teachers should not limit their profession to teaching only in schools. In this rapidly growing digital world, they need to pay attention to more professions related to teaching. Our Trainees should always look at a bigger canvas for their future and don’t limit themselves to just one aspect of the said profession.

Shri Manish Sisodia said that teachers need to be fearless because only a fearless and confident teacher can motivate the children in their class and empower them for the future.

Other dignitaries present during the visit were Education Secretary Ashok Kumar, Principal Education Advisor Shailendra Sharma and Director SCERT Rajnish Kumar Singh.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia met the Delhi LG today to seek the continuation of the ‘Dilli ki Yogshala’ program started by the Delhi government. He requested the LG with folded hands to not stop the free yoga classes under the program. He said “I have humbly requested the LG to not halt the Yoga classes, as most of the 17,000 people doing yoga are affected by post COVID ailments, and it is the responsibility of the government to keep them healthy. The LG has told me that he will peruse the file and has assured me that nothing will go wrong.” Deputy CM went on to say that since the BJP is attempting to stop the ‘Dilli Ki Yogshala’ Program because CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal has started it by intimidating & threatening the government officials.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia said, “I have spoken with the LG in detail as to how well the ‘Dilli ki Yogshala’ initiative is being undertaken across Delhi, and how it shall prove to be really beneficial for our citizens. 17 thousand common citizens of Delhi, who do not have the financial capacity to hire a yoga instructor and cannot even imagine that they will be able to do the same, are being provided access to fully trained yoga instructors – who go to various parks in the citizens’ vicinities and guide their yoga classes daily.”

He added, “these people have hatched a conspiracy to stop this initiative by threatening & intimidating the government officials, and by doing this, they have ensured that the officials draft the files incorrectly. I have requested the LG saying that political differences have their own time and place, but out of the 17 thousand people doing yoga daily, most are citizens who are affected by post COVID ailments. It is the responsibility of the government to keep them healthy. It is a very onerous situation that the Chief Minister of Delhi provides yoga instructors to the people of Delhi to do yoga and then the officers are stopped from running the scheme by intimidation. This is not acceptable. I have told LG sir that even if he has to help people by going out of the way, then he should because yoga is crucial. The LG has said that he will go through the entire file and has assured that nothing will go wrong.”

He concluded, “the BJP has absolutely no concern for either the people or yoga. BJP is stopping the initiative because CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal has started it. They just organise an event for yoga, but never provide yoga instructors to citizens. For the first time, such a program has come wherein trained yoga instructors are being provided to the people to do yoga in their locality. Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University is the only pharmaceutical research university in Asia. The CM has provided citizens with yoga instructors after having them trained for 9 months, and it is absolutely unfair to stop it.”

*Delhi Government had started the program last year*

The Delhi Government had last year launched the ‘Dilli Ki Yogshala’ program to help the residents of Delhi stay healthy.  Under this program, yoga is taught free of cost to the residents of Delhi. Trained instructors teach people yoga under the program.  The Delhi Government wants to make yoga and meditation a mass movement and reach every citizen of Delhi.  This is the first program of its kind in the entire country, under which the Delhi Government provides free yoga to the people. In today’s lifestyle, the body, mind and soul of a person are not healthy. In such a situation, yoga can benefit one a lot.

*Thousands of people suffering from Post COVID diseases benefited from yoga*

Under ‘Dilli Ki Yogashala’, more than 17,000 people are benefiting from free yoga classes at 600 locations across Delhi.  It has helped about 11,000 people battling post-Covid diseases to recover from various health problems.  Online yoga classes were organised under the Yogashala during the Corona period. During that time 4500 infected people in home isolation benefited from this. Out of these, there were 2,000 people who had very serious problems, but these people benefited greatly by taking classes in the Yogashala. The surveys conducted on the project have given great results. As per surveys, most of the patients involved were between 30 and 70 years old. Out of this, 92.3 percent of the patients admitted that the symptoms of corona reduced by doing yoga.  Most of the patients admitted that they did not face problems like breathlessness due to yoga during the transition.  By doing yoga, most of the patients were cured of corona within 5 to 7 days. Most of the patients admitted that by doing yoga, they got relief from symptoms like cough, cold, body ache, sleeplessness, breathlessness etc.

*Yoga classes are held daily in more than 600 places in Delhi*

The ‘Dilli Ki Yogashala’ program was started by the Delhi government about one and a half years ago.  Under this program, the Delhi Government has called upon the people of Delhi to take free yoga training and meditation on a daily basis. The program received a positive response from the people of Delhi and more than 17 thousand people are benefiting from it at more than 600 locations across Delhi.  These yoga classes are held daily at around 600 places in different parts of Delhi. These classes are held in open spaces, where anyone can come and learn yoga. There, a well-trained yoga trainer makes people practise yoga and meditation.

*Delhi Government wants to convert yoga into a mass movement*

The Delhi Government wants to take Yoga door-to-door and convert it into a mass movement by providing free yoga instructors to Delhiites.  It aims to highlight the importance of yoga and meditation for improving the physical and mental health of the people.  The Centre for Meditation and Yoga Sciences (CMYS) was established in collaboration with Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University. The CMYS started Diploma and Certificate courses and enrolled more than 650 students for the same.  These students have been trained and certified to become yoga instructors.

*Positive thinking being inculcated in people through yoga*

Under this program, people of Delhi do yoga in public parks, RWA spaces, community centres etc. Through this initiative, with the help of yoga and meditation, the Government is spreading awareness among people towards yoga and leading a happy life. The Delhi government provides trainers to a group of interested people to do yoga.  Each group consists of at least 25 members. The yoga instructor coordinates with one member of each group, called the group coordinator. The group coordinator coordinates with the instructor and decides the time and place for yoga classes.

On the BJP MP’s statement regarding Chhath Puja, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia said, “I have seen the video of the MP. It is unbecoming of any MP to talk to any govt official in this manner. But I am happy that the people of Delhi are responding to the BJP on their own. It is seen in the video that some members of the youth who came there have figuratively shut the mouths of the BJP leaders. The youth said that we know that the government and officials are working, and that the BJP leaders have come just to create disruption.”

दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा शुरू किए ‘दिल्ली की योगशाला’ प्रोग्राम को जारी रखने को लेकर आज उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने एलजी से मुलाकात की और योग क्लास को न रोकने का हाथ जोड़कर निवेदन किए। उन्होंने कहा कि मैंने एलजी साहब से विनती की है कि योग कर रहे 17 हजार लोगों में से अधिकतर पोस्ट कोविड से प्रभावित हैं। उनको स्वस्थ रखना सरकार की जिम्मेदारी है। इसलिए इसे न रोका जाए। एलजी साहब ने कहा है कि वे सारे पेपर को देखेंगे और कुछ भी गलत नहीं होने देने का आश्वासन दिया है। डिप्टी सीएम ने कहा कि चूंकि अरविंद केजरीवाल जी ने दिल्ली की योगशाला प्रोग्राम को शुरू किया है। इसलिए भाजपा उसको रोक रही है। इन लोगों ने अफसरों को डरा-धमका कर दिल्ली की योगशाला कार्यक्रम को रोकने के लिए साजिश रची है।

दिल्ली सरकार के ‘दिल्ली की योगशाला’ कार्यक्रम को आगे भी जारी रखने के लिए उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने आज एलजी से मुलाकात उसकी फाइल को मंजूरी देने की अपील की। इस संबंध में मीडिया से बात करते हुए उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा कि मैंने एलजी साहब को विस्तार से बताया है कि किस तरह से दिल्ली में दिल्ली की योगशाला कार्यक्रम बहुत शानदार चल रहा है और यह दिल्ली की आम जनता के लिए बहुत ही उपयोगी साबित हो रहा है। दिल्ली के 17 हजार आम लोग, जिनके पास क्षमता नहीं है या वे सोच भी नहीं सकते हैं कि योगा इंस्ट्रक्टर को हायर करके योग करेंगे, उनको पूरी तरह से प्रशिक्षित योगा इंस्ट्रक्टर उनके पार्क में जाकर रोजाना योग कराते हैं। 

उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा कि ये लोग अफसरों को डरा-धमका कर इसको रोकने के लिए पूरी साजिश रची है और अफसरों से फाइलों पर उल्टा सीधा लिखवा कर इसको रोक दी है। मैं एलजी साहब से हाथ जोड़कर विनती की है कि राजनीति अपनी जगह है, लेकिन 17 हजार लोगों में से अधिकतर लोग ऐसे हैं, जो पोस्ट कोविड से प्रभावित है, वे लोग योग कर रहे हैं। उनको स्वस्थ रखना सरकार की जिम्मेदारी है। यह बड़ी अजीब स्थिति है कि दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री दिल्ली के लोगों को योग करने के लिए उनको योगा इंस्ट्रक्टर दें और फिर अफसरों को डरा-धमका कर रोक दिया जाए। यह तो ठीक नहीं है। मैंने एलजी साहब से कहा है कि अगर आपको आउट ऑफ द वे जाकर भी लोगों की मदद करनी पड़े, तो करनी चाहिए। क्योंकि योग बड़ी चीज है। एलजी साहब ने कहा है कि वे सारे पेपर को देखेंगे और कुछ भी गलत नहीं होने देने का आश्वासन दिया है। 

उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा कि भाजपा को न लोगों से मतलब है और न योग से मतलब है। चूंकि अरविंद केजरीवाल जी ने इसको शुरू किया है, इसलिए इसको भाजपा रोक रही है। वे लोग योग का एक प्रोग्राम तो कर लेते हैं, लेकिन कभी योगा इंस्ट्रक्टर नहीं उपलब्ध कराए। पहली बार इस तरह का प्रोग्राम आया है कि जिसमें लोगों को उनके मोहल्ले में जाकर योग करने के लिए प्रशिक्षित योगा इंस्ट्रक्टर उपलब्ध कराया जा रहा है। दिल्ली फार्मास्युटिकल साइंसेज और रिसर्च यूनिवर्सिटी एशिया की अकेली फार्मास्युटिकल रिसर्च यूनिवर्सिटी है। उसने 9 महीने प्रशिक्षण देकर योगा इंस्ट्रक्टर्स दिए हैं, तो इसको रोकना ठीक नहीं है। 

*दिल्ली सरकार ने पिछले साल शुरू की थी ‘दिल्ली की योगशाला’ कार्यक्रम*

दिल्ली सरकार ने पिछले साल दिल्ली निवासियों को स्वस्थ्य रहने के लिए ‘दिल्ली की योगशाला’ कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत की थी। इस कार्यक्रम के तहत दिल्लीवासियों को फ्री में योग कराया जाता है। प्रशिक्षित टीचर लोगों को योग करना सिखाते हैं। दिल्ली सरकार योग और मेडिटेशन को एक जन आंदोलन बनाकर दिल्ली में घर-घर तक पहुंचाना चाहती है। यह पूरे देश में अपने किस्म का पहला कार्यक्रम है, जिसके तहत दिल्ली सरकार लोगों को फ्री में योग कराती है। भागदौड़ की जिंदगी में आज व्यक्ति का शरीर, मन और आत्मा स्वस्थ्य नहीं है, ऐसे में योग से उसको काफी फायदा हो सकता है।

*पोस्ट कोविड बीमारियों से जूझ रहे हजारों लोगों को योग से मिला लाभ*

‘दिल्ली की योगशाला’ के तहत दिल्ली भर मे 600 जगहों पर 17,000 से ज्यादा लोगों को फ्री में योगा क्लासेज से फायदा हो रहा है। साथ ही, इससे पोस्ट-कोविड बीमारियों से जूझ रहे करीब 11 हजार लोगों को विभिन्न स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं से उबरने में मदद मिली है। कोरोना काल में दिल्ली की योगशाला के तहत ऑनलाइन योग क्लासेज का आयोजन किया गया था। उस दौरान होम आइसोलेशन में रह रहे 4500 संक्रमितों को इससे फायदा हुआ। इनमें से 2,000 लोग तो ऐसे थे, जिन्हें बेहद गंभीर समस्याएं थी, लेकिन दिल्ली की योगशाला में क्लासेज लेने से इन लोगों को काफी फायदा हुआ। इस पर रिसर्च किया गया था, जिसके नतीजे काफी उत्साह जनक रहे। रिसर्च में शामिल ज्यादातर मरीज 30 से 70 साल के बीच थे। इसमें से 92.3 फीसद मरीजों ने माना कि योग करने से कोरोना के लक्षणों में सुधार हुआ। ज्यादातर मरीजों ने माना कि उन्हें संक्रमण के दौरान योग करने से सांस फूलने जैसी समस्या का सामना नहीं करना पड़ा। योग करने से अधिकांश मरीज 5 से 7 दिनों के भीतर कोरोना से ठीक हो गए। ज्यादातर संक्रमितों ने माना योग करने से उन्हें खांसी, सर्दी, शरीर में दर्द, नींद सांस फूलना आदि से जैसे लक्षण से राहत मिली। 

*दिल्ली में 600 से अधिक जगहों पर रोजाना लगती है योगा क्लासेज*

दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा करीब डेढ़ साल पहले ‘दिल्ली की योगशाला’ कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की गई थी। इस कार्यक्रम के तहत दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा दिल्लीवालों से आह्वान किया गया है कि जो लोग रोजाना योग व ध्यान करना चाहते हैं, उनको सरकार फ्री में प्रशिक्षित योगा ट्रेनर उपलब्ध करवाती है। दिल्ली के लोगों द्वारा इस कार्यक्रम के प्रति सकारात्मक प्रतिक्रिया मिली और दिल्ली भर में 600 से ज्यादा स्थानों पर 17 हजार से ज्यादा लोग इसका लाभ उठा रहे हैं। यह योगा क्लासेज दिल्ली के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में करीब 600 स्थानों पर रोजाना होती है। यह कक्षाएं खुली जगहों पर होती है, जहां कोई भी आकर योग सीख सकता है। वहां पर अच्छे से प्रशिक्षित योग ट्रेनर लोगों को योग व ध्यान का अभ्यास कराता है। कोरोना के दौरान साढ़े चार हजार लोगों ने योग क्लास कर लाभ प्राप्त किया।

*योग को जन आंदोलन में बदलना चाहती है दिल्ली सरकार*

दिल्ली सरकार योग को घर-घर पहुंचाना चाहती है और दिल्लीवालों को निःशुल्क योग प्रशिक्षक उपलब्ध कराकर इसे जन-आंदोलन में बदलना चाहती है। इसका उद्देश्य लोगों के शारीरिक और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य में सुधार के लिए योग और ध्यान के महत्व को उजागर करना है। सेंटर फॉर मेडिटेशन एंड योग साइंसेज (सीएमवाईएस) की स्थापना दिल्ली फार्मास्युटिकल साइंसेज और रिसर्च यूनिवर्सिटी के सहयोग से की गई थी। सीएमवाईएस ने डिप्लोमा और सर्टिफिकेट कोर्स शुरू किए और इसके लिए 650 से अधिक छात्रों को नामांकित किया। इन छात्रों को योग प्रशिक्षक बनने के लिए प्रशिक्षित और प्रमाणित कियाw गया है। 

*योग के जरिए लोगों के अंदर सकारात्मक सोच पैदा कर रही दिल्ली सरकार*

इस कार्यक्रम के तहत दिल्ली के लोग सार्वजनिक पार्कों, आरडब्ल्यूए, सामुदायिक भवनों आदि में योग कर रहे। इस पहल के जरिए लोगों में योग और ध्यान की मदद से सकारात्मक सोच पैदा हो रहा है, जिससे लोगों का शरीर और दिमाग स्वस्थ और एक खुशहाल व्यक्ति बनाने की दिशा में योग के प्रति लोगों में अधिक से अधिक जागरूकता आ रही है। दिल्ली सरकार इच्छुक लोगों के समूह को योग कराने के लिए प्रशिक्षक उपलब्ध कराती है। प्रत्येक समूह में कम से कम 25 सदस्य होते हैं। योग प्रशिक्षकa प्रत्येक समूह के एक सदस्य के साथ समन्वय करता है, जिसे समूह समन्वयक कहा जाता है। समूह समन्वयक प्रशिक्षक के साथ समन्वय करता है और योग कक्षाओं के लिए समय और स्थान तय करता है।

Delhi Government approves revised fares for Auto Rickshaw and Taxi in Delhi; new
fares to be notified soon
Under the leadership of CM Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Government has always been

The revised fares will help auto drivers to support their families and will also provide
convenience to the passengers with increased availability of Auto rickshaws and taxis
in the city- Kailash Gahlot
New Delhi:
In the wake of rising CNG fares in Delhi since the last few months, Delhi Government has
approved the revised fare for Auto Rickshaw and Taxi in Delhi. This comes as a relief to
nearly two lac Auto Rickshaw and Taxi drivers who had to bear more cost due to recent
hikes in the CNG prices. With the approval of the Delhi Government, the new fares for Auto
Rickshaw and Taxi shall be applicable once these are notified in the coming weeks. 
The last revision in the Auto Rickshaw fares happened in 2020 while that for Taxi which
includes Black and Yellow Taxi, Economy taxi and Premium taxi, happened nine years back
in 2013. In 2020, while the fare of CNG was Rs 47, it has now increased to Rs 78 by Oct

2022. Delhi’s Transport Minister Shri Kailash Gahlot had received many representations
      from the Auto Rickshaw and Taxi associations/unions on this issue. Hence, a committee of
      13 members was formed in May 2022 to review and recommend the fare in the wake of
      increasing rate of CNG, Cost and maintenance of Auto rickshaw and Taxi, and various other
      issues affecting the net earning of Auto rickshaw and Taxi drivers. 
      The committee recommended revising the fare for Black and Yellow Taxi and Economy Taxi
      which was then reviewed and approved by the Delhi government. The committee also
      recommended not to change the existing fare for the Premium Taxi category to avoid them
      being too expensive for the users.

दिल्ली के पर्यावरण मंत्री गोपाल राय ने कहा कि उपराज्यपाल ने रेड लाइट ऑन गाड़ी ऑफ अभियान की फाइल छुट्टी का बहाना देकर रोकी है। उपराज्यपाल ने फाइल पर साइन न होने के 3 बहाने बनाए हैं। एलजी फाइल रोकने के लिए बहाने बनाने की जगह जल्द से जल्द साइन करें। प्रदूषण के खिलाफ लड़ना हम सब की सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी है।

दिल्ली में सर्दियों में प्रदूषण को कम करने के उद्देश्य से अरविंद केजरीवाल की सरकार 15 सूत्रीय कार्यक्रम बनाकर उसपर युद्ध स्तर पर कार्य कर रही है। इसके तहत धूल प्रदूषण को रोकने के लिए एंटी डस्ट अभियान, बायोमास बर्निंग तथा पराली बर्निंग को रोकने का अभियान, इंडस्ट्रीज को गैस ईंधन में कन्वर्ट करना आदि शामिल है।

दिल्ली में वाहन प्रदूषण को रोकने के लिए रेड लाइट पर लोग अपने गाड़ियों का इंजन बंद करने की आदत विकसित करने के लिए  पिछले दो सालों से “रेड लाइट ऑन, गाड़ी ऑफ” अभियान चला रहे हैं। हम सब जानते हैं कि जब दिल्ली में कोई व्यक्ति अपना वाहन लेकर निकलता है और शाम को घर पहुंचता है कि तो वह कम-से-कम 10 से 12 रेड लाइट से होकर गुजरता है। 

भारतीय पेट्रोलिय कंज्यूमर एसोसियशन के सर्वे के मुताबिक रेड लाइट होने पर भी वाहन को स्टार्ट रखने की वजह से प्रत्येक व्यक्ति प्रतिदिन लगभग 25 से 30 मिनट की बेकार में ईंधन जलाता है। इसलिए रेड लाइट होने पर प्रत्येक व्यक्ति अपने वाहन को बंद कर दे तो 15 से 20 प्रतिशत तक वाहन से होने वाले प्रदूषण में कमी आ सकती है। 

इस अभियान में लगभग 2500 सिविल डिफेंस के वालंटियर्स को ट्रेनिंग देकर, दिल्ली पुलिस के साथ उनसे मॉकड्रिल कराकर  दिल्ली के 100 व्यस्ततम चौराहों पर तैनात किया जाता है। जहां वे गांधीगरी के माध्यम से गुलाब देकर लोगों से अपने वाहनों का इंजन बंद करने का आग्रह करते हैं।

दिल्ली के पर्यावरण मंत्री गोपाल राय ने कहा इस बारे में आपको बताया था कि उपराज्यपाल कार्यालय से इससे संबंधित फाइल पर साइन न होने के कारण इस अभियान को फिलहाल रोक रहे हैं। इसके जवाब में उपराज्यपाल ने अपने विश्वस्थ सूत्रों के माध्यम से मीडिया में एक प्रेस नोट भेजा। जिसमें फाइल पर साइन न होने के 3 बहाने  बताए गए। 

उन्होंने कहा कि पहला बहाना यह बताया कि 21 तारीख को जब मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालय से फाइल उनके कार्यालय में आई तो उसके बाद पूरे सप्ताह छुट्टी थी। मैं आपसे कहना चाहता है कि कोई मुख्यमंत्री, मंत्री, राज्यपाल एक हफ्ते छुट्टी पर नहीं रहता है। मैं खुद दीपावली के दूसरे दिन 25 तारीख को दिल्ली सचिवालय के बाहर 150 मोबाइल एंटी स्मॉग गन को पूरे दिल्ली में छिड़काव करने के लिए भेजा, तब सारे अधिकारी भी मौजूद थे। मैंने 26 अक्टूबर को एंटी डस्ट अभियान की समीक्षा बैठक की। उसमें भी सारे अधिकारी मौजूद थे। जब 27 अक्टूबर को उपराज्यपाल कार्यालय से कोई जवाब नहीं आया तो हमने यह निर्णय लिया की इस अभियान को स्थगित कर दिया जाए। इस लिए यह केवल बहानेबाजी है की 7 दिन छुट्टी की वजह से फाईल पर साईन नहीं हुआ। यह इस बात को दर्शाता है कि उपराज्यपाल को दिल्ली में सर्दियों में होने वाले प्रदूषण का कोई अहसास ही नहीं है।

दूसरा बहाना उन्होंने यह दिया है कि इसप्रकार की फाइलों में दिमाग लगाना पड़ता है। इसलिए इसपर साइन करने के लिए समय चाहिए होता है। मेरा कहना यह है कि यदि उन्हें नहीं समझ में आ रहा है कि यह अभियान क्या है तो मुझे बुला लेते। मैं उन्हें समझा देता है कि यह अभियान क्या है और पिछले दो सालों से किस प्रकार चल रहा है। 

तीसरा बहाना उन्होंने यह बनाया है कि उस फाइल में 31 अक्टूबर की तारीख लिखी हुई थी। इसलिए अभी साइन नहीं हुआ है। मैं आपको बताना चाहता हूँ कि जब सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल को फाइल भेजी गई थी तो उसमें 31 अक्टूबर की तारीख लिखी हुई थी। लेकिन इस अभियान के पहले काफी तैयारी करनी पड़ती है। दिपावली के बाद यह आशंका थी की प्रदूषण का स्तर बढ़ेगा। इसलिए मुख्यमंत्री ने निर्देश दिया कि जल्दी करो। इसलिए हमने 22 तरीख को सारे मीडिया के माध्यम से यह बातें कहीं कि हम 28 तारीख से इस अभियान की शुरूआत करेंगे। हमने विभाग को नोट भेजा कि वे 28 तारीख से इस अभियान को प्रारम्भ करने की तैयारी करें। 

एलजी ने कल मेरे द्वारा की गई प्रेस वार्ता के तो देख-पढ़ लिया। लेकिन जो 22 अक्टूबर को सारे मीडिया को बताया की प्रदूषण का स्तर बढ़ने के कारण इस अभियान को 31 के बजाए 28 अक्टूबर से ही शुरू करेंगे, वे खबर उन्होंने नहीं पढ़ी। 

इस प्रकार ये 3 बहाने एलजी की तरफ से दिए गए हैं कि क्यों इस फाईल पर साईन नहीं हुआ है? मैं एक और दिलचस्प बात आपलोगों को बताना चाहता हूँ। एलजी 26 अक्टूबर को मुख्यमंत्री की आलोचना करते हैं। छठ की तैयारियों को लेकर उनको बुरा भला बोलते हैं। तब उनका ऑफिस खुला था। अभी तक फाईल पर साईन नहीं किए हैं और आज 28 तरीख हो गई है। कब हम ट्रेनिंग कराएंगे, कब उनसे मॉकड्रिल कराएंगे और कब सारी तैयारियां करेंगे। इसलिए मेरा निवेदन है कि मीडिया में बयानबाजी बंद कीजिए। अगर आपको मीडिया में बयानबाजी करनी है तो भाजपा के प्रवक्ता बन जाइए। क्योकि अभी तक जितने एलजी हुए हैं, उन सबसे ज्यादा बयान अकेले आपने जारी किए हैं। 

इसलिए आपसे निवेदन है कि इस फाइल पर राजनीति न करें, दिल्ली के लोगों की सांसों पर राजनीति बंद करें और जल्दी से फाइल पर साईन करें ताकि हम इस अभियान को शीघ्र शुरू कर सकें।

The Delhi Government cornered the Delhi LG for causing inordinate delays in its day to day functioning. Reacting to the LG’s excuses over his non clearance of crucial files, Environment Minister Shri Gopal Rai said, “Lieutenant Governor has withheld the file of the “Red Light On, Gadi Off” campaign on the pretext of leave from work. The Lieutenant Governor has made 3 excuses for not signing the file. LG should sign the file immediately instead of making excuses. Fighting against pollution is the collective responsibility of all of us.”

Environment Minister Shri Gopal Rai said, “With the aim of reducing pollution in Delhi during the winter season, the Delhi Government has prepared a 15-point winter action plan, on which work is being done on a war footing. In such a situation, in the midst of all-round efforts of the Delhi Government to get rid of pollution, many evil steps of the Lieutenant Governor are coming to the fore. In order to clear the polluted air of the capital, the Delhi Government had started the “Red Light On Gaadi Off” campaign. Through the “Red Light On, Gadi Off” campaign, about 2500 Civil Defense Volunteers were to be trained and deployed at 100 busiest intersections of Delhi. Following Gandhi’s example, they were to hand out roses as requests for others to stop their cars at red lights. Additionally, they were to receive training before deployment and practise acting appropriately at junctions with the traffic police. The two-year-old campaign has had a great deal of success. Experts estimate that this effort has resulted in a 15–20% decrease in vehicle-related air pollution. The government was preparing to start the campaign for a third year as a result of this optimistic outcome. But it was decided to postpone this campaign tomorrow because the file relating to it starting on October 28 was not approved.”

“Due to the suspension of the campaign by our government, a press note has been sent to the media today as a reply by the LG office giving 3 excuses for not signing the file. The first excuse was that when the file from the Chief Minister’s office came to his office on the 21st, there was a holiday for the whole week after that. But I want to say that no Chief Minister, Minister, Governor remains on leave for a week. I myself inaugurated 150 mobile anti-smog guns outside Delhi Secretariat on 25th, the second day of Diwali. A review meeting of the Anti-Dust Campaign was held on 26th in which all the officers were present. We chose to postpone the Red Light On Gadi Off campaign even after waiting until the 27th for the Lt. Governor’s office to respond. By using the holidays to obscure a mistake, one is playing with Delhi’s residents’ lives”, he further added.

Environment Minister Shri Gopal Rai further said, “As the third excuse, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has said that the date of implementation of the campaign was given in the file as October 31, due to which there has been a delay in signing the file. On this, I want to say that when the file was sent to the CM office, the date of 31 October was written in it. But due to the fear of increasing pollution level after Diwali, it was decided to bring it on 28th on the instructions of the Chief Minister, whose information was released in the entire media on 22nd October, which might have been overlooked by the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, so he is resorting to such absurd excuses.”

Shri Gopal Rai said, “Our LG, who gave the excuse of holidays, had issued statements on October 26 criticising the Chief Minister of Delhi, regarding the preparations for Chhath. I want to know that his office is open to do politics and closed to protect Delhiites from pollution. I request the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi to stop rhetoric in the media and if you want to make rhetoric in the media, then it is better that you become the spokesperson of BJP because till now the number of LG’s and the number of statements he has issued is the highest. The statement is yours alone. That’s why you are requested not to do politics on this file, stop politics on the breath of the people of Delhi and approve the file as soon as possible so that this campaign can be started soon.”

Revenue Minister Shri Kailash Gahlot today visited the Hanthi Ghat at the bank of river Yamuna near ITO to take stock of the preparation ahead of the Chhath Puja festivities. District Magistrate and other senior officers from various departments were also present during the visit. MLA from Burari Shri Sanjeev Jha accompanied the Minister during the visit. Revenue Minister Shri Kailash Gahlot interacted with the devotees and locals at the ghat and assured them to have grand arrangements for the Puja. 

Interacting with the media the Revenue Minister said, “Due to the Corona pandemic, we could not celebrate Chhath Puja properly for the last 2 years but as the situation is under control this year, Delhi Government is organising a grand celebration of Chhath Puja at 1100 different Ghats. With the blessings of Chhathi Maiyya, necessary arrangements are being made at all the ghats. I have held several meetings with MLAs, committees and officials in this regard. Today, I inspected the Ghat and took stock of the arrangements. I have instructed the officials that the devotees should not face any inconvenience.”

Issuing directions to expedite the arrangement works at the ghat, Shri Kailash Gahlot checked the sanitation, lighting and water supply arrangements. He further said “All the government agencies and departments – be it irrigation and flood control, Delhi Jal Board, PWD (Public Works Department)- all are working in coordination to ensure best arrangements.”

This year, the Delhi Government is organising the Chhath Puja at 1100 sites all over Delhi. To ensure transparency and eliminate any confusion, Revenue Minister Shri Kailash Gahlot in the last meeting with Divisional Commissioner and DMs had directed them to share the list of new sites that are being added with local MLAs. All DMs were further instructed to share geo-locations of all sites compulsorily.

The DMs were advised to manage logistics in a manner that the Yamuna river bank is barricaded and artificial ponds are created in a proper way ensuring pollution-free celebration.

In Delhi, the Revenue Department is the nodal department for the celebration of Chhath Puja in a safe, secure and eco-friendly manner with full festivity. The Revenue Department will make the necessary arrangements for tentage and electrical items such as tents, chairs, tables lighting, sound system, CCTV, LED screens, power backup and so on at all the 1100 Puja sites. Furthermore, the Revenue Department will ensure the provision for the other required facilities in coordination with other departments of the Delhi Government such as the Irrigation & Flood Control Department (I&FC) and Delhi Jal Board (DJB) for clean water arrangements, Health Department for primary health services and deployment of Ambulance, DUSIB for Mobile Toilet Vans (MTVs) and with agencies such as Delhi Police and CDV for safety & security, Traffic Police for Traffic Management and MCD/NDMC for sanitation and cleanliness.

The Delhi Government has grown the celebration of Chhath Puja from 69 sites in 2014 to a whopping 1100 sites and increased the budget 10 times from 2.5 Crore in 2014 to approx. 25 Crore this year to facilitate lakhs of devotees in offering their prayers on Chhath.

After the visit, Revenue Minister of Delhi Shri Kailash Gahlot tweeted “Today, I inspected the Hanthi Ghat at the bank of river Yamuna to take stock of the preparations of Chhath puja.  Under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal, all preparations are being made to ensure a grand Chhath puja this year all over Delhi.”

दिल्ली के राजस्व मंत्री कैलाश गहलोत ने आज छठ पूजा की तैयारियों का जायजा लेने के लिए आईटीओ के पास यमुना नदी के किनारे स्थित हांथी घाट का दौरा किया। इस दौरान जिलाधिकारी समेत विभिन्न विभागों के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी भी मौजूद रहे। दौरे के दौरान बुराड़ी से विधायक  संजीव झा मंत्री के साथ थे। इस दौरान राजस्व मंत्री कैलाश गहलोत ने घाट पर श्रद्धालुओं और स्थानीय लोगों से बातचीत भी की। 

मीडिया से बातचीत करते हुए उन्होंने कहा, “कोरोना के कारण पिछले 2 वर्षों से हम छठ पूजा अच्छे तरीके से नहीं मना सके थे लेकिन इस वर्ष दिल्ली सरकार 1100 अलग अलग घाटों पर छठ पूजा का भव्य आयोजन कर रही है। छठी मैया के आशीर्वाद से सभी घाटों पर अच्छे इंतजाम किए जा रहे हैं। विधायकों, समितियों और अधिकारियों के साथ मैंने इस सिलसिले में कई मीटिंग्स की है। आज घाट का निरीक्षण कर इंतज़ामात का जायज़ा लिया और अधिकारियों को यह निर्देश दिया कि किसी भी श्रद्धालु को किसी भी प्रकार की दिक्कत न हो।”

कैलाश गहलोत ने घाट पर व्यवस्था कार्यों में तेजी लाने के निर्देश जारी करते हुए स्वच्छता, प्रकाश व्यवस्था और जलापूर्ति व्यवस्था की जाँच की। उन्होंने आगे कहा, “सभी सरकारी एजेंसियां और विभाग – चाहे वह सिंचाई और बाढ़ नियंत्रण हो, दिल्ली जल बोर्ड, पीडब्ल्यूडी हो – सभी बेहतरीन व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने के लिए समन्वय में काम कर रहे हैं।”

इस साल केजरीवाल सरकार पूरे दिल्ली में 1100 स्थलों पर छठ पूजा का आयोजन कर रही है। पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित करने और किसी भी भ्रम को दूर करने के लिए राजस्व मंत्री कैलाश गहलोत ने डिविज़नल कमिश्नर और डीएम के साथ पिछली बैठक में जोड़े जाने वाले नए स्थलों की सूची स्थानीय विधायकों के साथ साझा करने का निर्देश दिया था।  

डीएम को लॉजिस्टिक्स का प्रबंधन इस तरह से करने की सलाह दी गई कि यमुना नदी के तट पर बैरिकेडिंग हो और प्रदूषण मुक्त उत्सव सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कृत्रिम तालाबों का निर्माण उचित तरीके से किया जाए।

दिल्ली में, छठ पूजा प्रबंधन और सुरक्षित आयोजन के लिए राजस्व विभाग नोडल विभाग है। राजस्व विभाग सभी 1100 पूजा स्थलों पर टेंट, कुर्सी, टेबल लाइटिंग, साउंड सिस्टम, सीसीटीवी, एलईडी स्क्रीन, पावर बैकअप आदि जैसी ज़रूरतों को पूरा करेगा।  इसके अलावा राजस्व विभाग दिल्ली सरकार के अन्य विभागों के साथ समन्वय कर आवश्यक ज़रूरतों को पूरा करेगा। राजस्व विभाग, सिंचाई और बाढ़ नियंत्रण विभाग (I&FC) और दिल्ली जल बोर्ड (DJB) के साथ समन्वय करके  स्वच्छ पानी की व्यवस्था करेगा वहीं स्वास्थ्य विभाग के साथ समन्वय करके प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं और एम्बुलेंस की तैनाती सुनिश्चित की जाएगी। मोबाइल शौचालय वैन (एमटीवी) के लिए डूसिब (DUSIB) और सुरक्षा के लिए दिल्ली पुलिस और सिविल डिफेंस वालंटियर्स, यातायात प्रबंधन के लिए यातायात पुलिस और साफ़-सफाई के लिए एमसीडी / एनडीएमसी जैसी एजेंसियों के साथ समन्वय किया जायेगा ।

केजरीवाल सरकार इस वर्ष छठ पूजा 1100 स्थलों पर आयोजित कर रही है। 2014 में यह संख्या 69 थी।  इस वर्ष बजट भी बढ़ा दिया गया है जो की 2014 में 2.5 करोड़ से 10 गुना बढ़ाकर इस साल लगभग  25 करोड़ कर दिया  गया है। 

दौरे के बाद दिल्ली के राजस्व मंत्री कैलाश गहलोत ने ट्वीट करते हुए लिखा, “आज यमुना नदी स्थित हाँथी घाट का निरीक्षण कर छठ पूजा से जुड़ी तैयारियों का जायज़ा लिया। मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल के मार्गदर्शन में सभी तैयारियां चल रही हैं। व्रतियों को कोई कठिनाई न हो, इसका विशेष ख्याल रखा जा रहा है। हम दिल्ली में छठ पूजा के भव्य आयोजन के लिए कटिबद्ध हैं।”

In an effort to revive the Indian economy, Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal recently appealed to the Prime Minister to put images of Lord Ganesh and Goddesses Lakshmi on Indian currency notes. In this vein, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal wrote to the Prime Minister demanding Lakshmi-Ganesh Ji’s image to be put on currency notes, on Friday. He stated, “I have written a letter to the PM on behalf of 130 crore Indians asking for the picture of Lakshmi-Ganesh Ji to be put on the Indian currency along with Mahatma Gandhi. Today the country’s economy is going through a very bad phase and even after 75 years of independence, India is counted among the developing and poor countries. On one hand we need to work hard, on the other hand we need God’s blessings so that our efforts are fruitful. Ever since this appeal, there has been tremendous public support and everyone wants it to be implemented immediately.”

In his letter to the Prime Minister, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal wrote, “it is the wish of 130 crore people of the country that the Indian currency should have a picture of Gandhi ji on one side and Ganesh ji and Lakshmi ji on the other side. Today the economy of the country is going through a very bad phase. Even after 75 years of independence, India is counted among the developing and poor countries. Why are so many people still living in poverty in our country?”

“On one hand we all need to work hard, on the other hand we also need the blessings of God, so that our efforts are fruitful.  Right policies, hard work and God’s blessings, only through their confluence will the country progress. I publicly demanded this by holding a press conference.  Since then there has been tremendous support from the general public on this issue. People are very excited about it.  Everyone wants this to be implemented immediately,” he added.

Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal hit back at the BJP over its constant attempts to derail the development of Delhi. Pained by the prosperity of Delhiites, the BJP has been pressuring officers to arbitrarily suspend the Dilli Ki Yogashala program. CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “I want to assure the people of Delhi that no matter what happens, I will not let Dilli Ki Yogashala be stopped by these people. I am standing with the people of Delhi, these people want to destroy Delhi, but this son of yours will not let Delhi be destroyed. We have started free yoga classes for the people of Delhi, 17 thousand people are taking classes and getting immense health benefits. These people have arbitrarily shut the Yogshala program from November 1 onwards by putting all kinds of pressure on the officers including threats of suspending them.” Deputy CM Shri Manish Sisodia tweeted, “I will meet LG sahab tomorrow regarding the suspension of yoga classes by him in Delhi; the file is pending with him. CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “It is a matter of pain and anguish that such cheap politics is being played out in Delhi. We had started Dilli Ki Yogashala to ensure the wellbeing and good health of Delhiites. 17,000 citizens were taking part in our classes everyday. They were very happily practising yoga twice a day. 10,000-11,000 of our beneficiaries with patients on the path of post COVID recovery. These people were getting treatment for lung ailments through the classes. Imagine they’ve suspended such a fruitful program. And this hasn’t been suspended conventionally. These people pressured officers into arbitrarily stopping the program. But I want to assure the people of Delhi, no matter what I have to bear with. No matter what I have to face. I will go all lengths possible to work in your best interest. I will not let them stop your Yoga classes. Till the day I am alive, till the day I am standing here, I will protect Delhiites. I will not let anyone hurt my Delhiites.”

*Delhi Government had started the program last year*

The Delhi Government had last year launched the ‘Dilli Ki Yogshala’ program to help the residents of Delhi stay healthy.  Under this program, yoga is taught free of cost to the residents of Delhi. Trained instructors teach people yoga under the program.  The Delhi Government wants to make yoga and meditation a mass movement and reach every citizen of Delhi.  This is the first program of its kind in the entire country, under which the Delhi Government provides free yoga to the people. In today’s lifestyle, the body, mind and soul of a person are not healthy. In such a situation, yoga can benefit one a lot.

*Thousands of people suffering from Post COVID diseases benefited from yoga*

Under ‘Dilli Ki Yogashala’, more than 17,000 people are benefiting from free yoga classes at 600 locations across Delhi.  It has helped about 11,000 people battling post-Covid diseases to recover from various health problems.  Online yoga classes were organised under the Yogashala during the Corona period. During that time 4500 infected people in home isolation benefited from this. Out of these, there were 2,000 people who had very serious problems, but these people benefited greatly by taking classes in the Yogashala. The surveys conducted on the project have given great results. As per surveys, most of the patients involved were between 30 and 70 years old. Out of this, 92.3 percent of the patients admitted that the symptoms of corona reduced by doing yoga.  Most of the patients admitted that they did not face problems like breathlessness due to yoga during the transition.  By doing yoga, most of the patients were cured of corona within 5 to 7 days. Most of the patients admitted that by doing yoga, they got relief from symptoms like cough, cold, body ache, sleeplessness, breathlessness etc.

*Yoga classes are held daily in more than 600 places in Delhi*

The ‘Dilli Ki Yogashala’ program was started by the Delhi government about one and a half years ago.  Under this program, the Delhi Government has called upon the people of Delhi to take free yoga training and meditation on a daily basis. The program received a positive response from the people of Delhi and more than 17 thousand people are benefiting from it at more than 600 locations across Delhi.  These yoga classes are held daily at around 600 places in different parts of Delhi. These classes are held in open spaces, where anyone can come and learn yoga. There, a well-trained yoga trainer makes people practise yoga and meditation.

*Delhi Government wants to convert yoga into a mass movement*

The Delhi Government wants to take Yoga door-to-door and convert it into a mass movement by providing free yoga instructors to Delhiites.  It aims to highlight the importance of yoga and meditation for improving the physical and mental health of the people.  The Centre for Meditation and Yoga Sciences (CMYS) was established in collaboration with Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University. The CMYS started Diploma and Certificate courses and enrolled more than 650 students for the same.  These students have been trained and certified to become yoga instructors.

*Positive thinking being inculcated in people through yoga*

Under this program, people of Delhi do yoga in public parks, RWA spaces, community centres etc. Through this initiative, with the help of yoga and meditation, the Government is spreading awareness among people towards yoga and leading a happy life. The Delhi government provides trainers to a group of interested people to do yoga.  Each group consists of at least 25 members. The yoga instructor coordinates with one member of each group, called the group coordinator. The group coordinator coordinates with the instructor and decides the time and place for yoga classes.

The Delhi Government has issued a mobile number 9013585858 for those wishing to attend yoga classes. One can register by giving a missed call.  In addition, one can register by visiting the website. After opening the page, you have to fill in your complete details, in which it has to be mentioned in which area and where you need an instructor to do yoga. After this, a yoga instructor is sent by the Delhi government to the place mentioned by you, who practices yoga 6 days a week.

दिल्ली सरकार के ‘दिल्ली की योगशाला’ कार्यक्रम को एक नवंबर से बंद करने की चल रही साजिश पर मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कड़ी प्रतिक्रिया दी है। सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने दिल्लीवासियों को भरोसा दिलाते हुए कहा कि चाहे कुछ भी करना पड़े, लेकिन मैं दिल्ली में योगा क्लास बंद नहीं होने दूंगा। मैं दिल्ली की जनता के साथ खड़ा हूं। ये लोग दिल्ली को तबाह करना चाहते हैं, लेकिन आपका यह बेटा दिल्ली को तबाह नहीं होने देगा। हमने दिल्ली के लोगों के लिए योगा क्लास शुरू की है। आज पूरी दिल्ली में करीब 17 हजार लोग योगा क्लास ले रहे हैं और इससे उनको स्वास्थ्य लाभ हो रहा है। इन लोगों ने अफसरों पर सस्पेंड करने समेत तमाम दबाव डालकर एक नवंबर से दिल्ली की योगशाला कार्यक्रम को बंद करा दी है। वहीं, उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने ट्वीट कर कहा कि दिल्ली में इनके द्वारा योगा क्लास बंद किए जाने को लेकर कल मैं एलजी साहब से मिलूंगा। योगा क्लास की फाइल उनके पास है। अगर इस पर तुरंत कार्रवाई नहीं की गई तो मंगलवार से दिल्ली में योगा क्लास बंद हो जाएगी और इससे हज़ारों लोगों को नुक़सान होगा।

मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने दिल्ली सरकार के ‘‘दिल्ली की योगशाला’’ प्रोग्राम को भाजपा द्वारा बंद कराने की चल रही साजिश के संबंध में आज कहा कि यह बहुत दुख की बात है कि ये लोग इतनी गंदी राजनीति पर उतर आए हैं। हम लोगों ने दिल्लीवासियों के स्वास्थ्य के लिए दिल्ली के अंदर जगह-जगह योगा क्लास शुरू की। हमने दिल्ली के लोगों के लिए योगा क्लास शुरू की और आज दिल्ली के 17 हजार लोग योगा की क्लास को अटेंड कर रहे हैं। ये लोग प्रतिदिन सुबह-शाम योगा करते हैं और उनको स्वास्थ्य लाभ हो रहा हैं। इसमें से 10 से 11 हजार लोग ऐसे हैं, जिनको पोस्ट कोविड में आए कंप्लीकेशंस की वजह से फेफड़े में कुछ दिक्कत रह गई है। किसी को अस्थमा है, तो किसी को कुछ समस्याएं हैं। इन लोगों को योगा क्लास में प्रणायाम करके स्वास्थ्य लाभ हो रहा है। इन्होंने अफसरों पर दबाव डालकर एक नवंबर से दिल्ली की योगा क्लास बंद करा दी। इन्होंने अफसरों को सस्पेंड करने समेत तमाम धमकियां दी। मैं दिल्ली के लोगों को भरोसा दिलाना चाहता हूं कि केजरीवाल को किसी भी हद तक जाना पड़े, चाहे कुछ भी करना पड़े, लेकिन योगा क्लास बंद नहीं होने दूंगा। मैं दिल्ली की जनता के साथ खड़ा हूं। ये लोग दिल्ली को तबाह करना चाहते हैं, लेकिन जब तक केजरीवाल जिंदा है, तब तक आपका यह बेटा दिल्ली को तबाह नहीं होने देगा।

वहीं, उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने ट्वीट कर कहा, ‘‘ दिल्ली में इनके द्वारा योगा क्लास बंद किए जाने को लेकर कल एलजी साहब से मिलूंगा। इसकी फाइल एलजी साहब के पास है। अगर तुरंत कार्रवाई नहीं की गई तो मंगलवार से दिल्ली में योगा क्लास बंद हो जाएगी। इससे हज़ारों लोगों को नुक़सान होगा।’’

*दिल्ली सरकार ने पिछले साल शुरू की थी ‘दिल्ली की योगशाला’ कार्यक्रम*

दिल्ली सरकार ने पिछले साल दिल्ली निवासियों को स्वस्थ्य रहने के लिए ‘दिल्ली की योगशाला’ कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत की थी। इस कार्यक्रम के तहत दिल्लीवासियों को फ्री में योग कराया जाता है। प्रशिक्षित टीचर लोगों को योग करना सिखाते हैं। दिल्ली सरकार योग और मेडिटेशन को एक जन आंदोलन बनाकर दिल्ली में घर-घर तक पहुंचाना चाहती है। यह पूरे देश में अपने किस्म का पहला कार्यक्रम है, जिसके तहत दिल्ली सरकार लोगों को फ्री में योग कराती है। भागदौड़ की जिंदगी में आज व्यक्ति का शरीर, मन और आत्मा स्वस्थ्य नहीं है, ऐसे में योग से उसको काफी फायदा हो सकता है।

*पोस्ट कोविड बीमारियों से जूझ रहे हजारों लोगों को योग से मिला लाभ*

‘दिल्ली की योगशाला’ के तहत दिल्ली भर मे 600 जगहों पर 17,000 से ज्यादा लोगों को फ्री में योगा क्लासेज से फायदा हो रहा है। साथ ही, इससे पोस्ट-कोविड बीमारियों से जूझ रहे करीब 11 हजार लोगों को विभिन्न स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं से उबरने में मदद मिली है। कोरोना काल में दिल्ली की योगशाला के तहत ऑनलाइन योग क्लासेज का आयोजन किया गया था। उस दौरान होम आइसोलेशन में रह रहे 4500 संक्रमितों को इससे फायदा हुआ। इनमें से 2,000 लोग तो ऐसे थे, जिन्हें बेहद गंभीर समस्याएं थी, लेकिन दिल्ली की योगशाला में क्लासेज लेने से इन लोगों को काफी फायदा हुआ। इस पर रिसर्च किया गया था, जिसके नतीजे काफी उत्साह जनक रहे। रिसर्च में शामिल ज्यादातर मरीज 30 से 70 साल के बीच थे। इसमें से 92.3 फीसद मरीजों ने माना कि योग करने से कोरोना के लक्षणों में सुधार हुआ। ज्यादातर मरीजों ने माना कि उन्हें संक्रमण के दौरान योग करने से सांस फूलने जैसी समस्या का सामना नहीं करना पड़ा। योग करने से अधिकांश मरीज 5 से 7 दिनों के भीतर कोरोना से ठीक हो गए। ज्यादातर संक्रमितों ने माना योग करने से उन्हें खांसी, सर्दी, शरीर में दर्द, नींद सांस फूलना आदि से जैसे लक्षण से राहत मिली। 

*दिल्ली में 600 से अधिक जगहों पर रोजाना लगती है योगा क्लासेज*

दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा करीब डेढ़ साल पहले ‘दिल्ली की योगशाला’ कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की गई थी। इस कार्यक्रम के तहत दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा दिल्लीवालों से आह्वान किया गया है कि जो लोग रोजाना योग व ध्यान करना चाहते हैं, उनको सरकार फ्री में प्रशिक्षित योगा ट्रेनर उपलब्ध करवाती है। दिल्ली के लोगों द्वारा इस कार्यक्रम के प्रति सकारात्मक प्रतिक्रिया मिली और दिल्ली भर में 600 से ज्यादा स्थानों पर 17 हजार से ज्यादा लोग इसका लाभ उठा रहे हैं। यह योगा क्लासेज दिल्ली के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में करीब 600 स्थानों पर रोजाना होती है। यह कक्षाएं खुली जगहों पर होती है, जहां कोई भी आकर योग सीख सकता है। वहां पर अच्छे से प्रशिक्षित योग ट्रेनर लोगों को योग व ध्यान का अभ्यास कराता है। कोरोना के दौरान साढ़े चार हजार लोगों ने योग क्लास कर लाभ प्राप्त किया।

*योग को जन आंदोलन में बदलना चाहती है दिल्ली सरकार*

दिल्ली सरकार योग को घर-घर पहुंचाना चाहती है और दिल्लीवालों को निःशुल्क योग प्रशिक्षक उपलब्ध कराकर इसे जन-आंदोलन में बदलना चाहती है। इसका उद्देश्य लोगों के शारीरिक और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य में सुधार के लिए योग और ध्यान के महत्व को उजागर करना है। सेंटर फॉर मेडिटेशन एंड योग साइंसेज (सीएमवाईएस) की स्थापना दिल्ली फार्मास्युटिकल साइंसेज और रिसर्च यूनिवर्सिटी के सहयोग से की गई थी। सीएमवाईएस ने डिप्लोमा और सर्टिफिकेट कोर्स शुरू किए और इसके लिए 650 से अधिक छात्रों को नामांकित किया। इन छात्रों को योग प्रशिक्षक बनने के लिए प्रशिक्षित और प्रमाणित किया गया है। 

*योग के जरिए लोगों के अंदर सकारात्मक सोच पैदा कर रही दिल्ली सरकार*

इस कार्यक्रम के तहत दिल्ली के लोग सार्वजनिक पार्कों, आरडब्ल्यूए, सामुदायिक भवनों आदि में योग कर रहे। इस पहल के जरिए लोगों में योग और ध्यान की मदद से सकारात्मक सोच पैदा हो रहा है, जिससे लोगों का शरीर और दिमाग स्वस्थ और एक खुशहाल व्यक्ति बनाने की दिशा में योग के प्रति लोगों में अधिक से अधिक जागरूकता आ रही है। दिल्ली सरकार इच्छुक लोगों के समूह को योग कराने के लिए प्रशिक्षक उपलब्ध कराती है। प्रत्येक समूह में कम से कम 25 सदस्य होते हैं। योग प्रशिक्षक प्रत्येक समूह के एक सदस्य के साथ समन्वय करता है, जिसे समूह समन्वयक कहा जाता है। समूह समन्वयक प्रशिक्षक के साथ समन्वय करता है और योग कक्षाओं के लिए समय और स्थान तय करता है।
